I ordered cookies for a baby shower and Altadena Cookie definitely went above and beyond!! The baby shower was bug themed and the cookies were so cute and well themed! There were so many different designs that integrated the theme so well and the guests loved them. Communication was easy and pick up was as well! Would definitely recommend for any future events :)

i've been picking up cookies from their driveway and fair booths for a bit so it's so cool to see a brick and mortar! talented and creative ladies, i used to order custom cookies for birthdays during the pandemic, i haven't done that in a while but the shop is a nice place to hang for a bit, play a game and eat all the cookies

Love! Was introduced to Altadena Cookie by a friend. I've not had a cookie that was bad. I love the flavor options and that it's a place that's focused on community. We've had the personalized cookies at work and the artistry is amazing! It's a great place to pick up gifts for friends or a sweet treat for yourself.

I bought 4 cookies and they were absolutely perfect, soft in the center with just the right crunch around the edges. The flavor selections were fantastic. The space itself is super thoughtful, welcoming, and even has fun vintage arcade games, which was such a nice touch. Parking was easy too. Definitely a place we'll be coming back to!

I absolutely love this company! They started back in 2020 baking right out of their home kitchens -- truly one of the sweetest parts of Covid. We used to look forward to every single pickup order! Our favorite cookie is the Fluffernutter (a peanut-butter lover's dream!), but we're also obsessed with the cookie brittle (SO good!) and the sinful cinnamon rolls... drool-worthy! When they opened their storefront recently, I was genuinely thrilled for them. After everything they've been through -- including personal tragedy, losing one of their homes in the devastating Altadena fire, and almost losing their shop -- these women have risen from the ashes like true phoenixes. The shop itself is adorable. I love all the artwork, the arcade games, and the fun extras like soft serve, meringues, and COOKIE CAKES! (And Dole Whip and floats coming soon!) It's absolutely a spot worth checking out.

Very cute and welcoming cookie shop! We tried the cookies and cream and the sugar cookie (recommended by whom I believe was the owner's son) and both cookies were delicious! We would love to come back and try more.

I've been wanting to try this place, and I'm so glad I finally did!…read more I ordered the Egg Heaven and the Iced Honeycomb Latte. The Egg Heaven was honestly one of the best egg sandwiches I've ever had. The flavors were light but still incredibly satisfying. The bread was perfectly toasted, and the egg salad was seasoned so well that every bite was delicious. It was also definitely worth the price, it came with three pieces, which was more than enough to share between two people. The Iced Honeycomb Latte was just as good. It doesn't come sweetened at first, but as the dalgona slowly melts into the coffee, it adds the perfect amount of sweetness. If you prefer your coffee less sweet, you can always ask for less dalgona. On top of the great food and drinks, the staff was incredibly friendly. Since it was my first visit, she gave us great recommendations and helpful feedback on what to order, which made the experience even better. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Love the packaging that it comes in!!!! The musubiyaki was served hot, and was very fulfilling indeed! Their chiffon cakes are worth a try as well!!!! The mangomisu, a seasonal item, was great!!!! Big pieces of mango, light mascarpone filling, and spongy cake made this dessert so worthwhile! I also got the sunny side up and strawberry shortcake!!!! I really wanted to try all so for sure I will be back. Next time, I'm passing on the matcha drinks. Tried the matcha latte with mango and the banana matcha, both of which I found to be lackluster.

The staff is very friendly from the time that you walk in and approach the counter until the time that you are ready to leave. They make sure that you enjoy your time with them. Whether you're having just coffee and a pastry or a complete meal, everything is done to make you feel comfortable. As I walked to the counter through a number of tables and chairs in the dining area, I was greeted by a friendly staff member. I indicated that I wanted some help with the menu. She gave some descriptions of items that were available and they all sounded very good. I decided on a few of their popular items. Capriciousa Pizza Italian Sub made with focaccia Fresh made Tiramisu I have to admit I did not know what to expect. I was incredibly surprised as I unpacked my to-go order. The aroma from all the food made my kitchen smell very Italian. The pizza was amazing with olives, mushrooms, and artichokes and of course fresh mozzarella. The Italian sub was impressive. The fresh focaccia with the meats and cheese was a great combination. Great bite and chew. It also came with a great side salad. Fresh lettuce selection and tomatoes with some sliced onions. I came back sooner than I had planned because the food was so good and ordered the pizzetta and a side salad. The pizzetta is now my favorite item. Fresh Focaccia topped with tomato sauce and mushrooms, garlic, herbs and spices. The Tiramisu tasted as good as it looked. Moist and full of flavor. The chocolate topping satisfies that chocolate craving. This was a larger piece than I had expected. Nice neighborhood boutique businesses with parking available in a lot off of Villa Street. I look forward to coming back and enjoying the authentic Italian experience created by Delizie Romane!

When we needed donuts for our shoot, Lily from Foster's Family Donuts didn't hesitate. She supplied the donuts you see throughout the film...including these beautiful pink donuts that she made specifically for SLUSH. The truth is that independent films aren't made by one person. They're built one act of generosity at a time. A location owner says yes. A crew member goes the extra mile. A local business owner helps. And suddenly a story that existed only in your head begins to exist in the world. Thank you, Lily, for being part of that journey. And if you're anywhere near Foster's Family Donuts, do yourself a favor and stop in. The donuts are every bit as good as they look.

The young lady who initially helped us was very kind, and we ended up spending about $25. My kids decided they wanted to sit and eat inside, so I grabbed two small sheets of wax paper to use as makeshift plates so they wouldn't make crumbs or leave a mess on the tables. As I was taking the two sheets, an older woman working there aggressively confronted me and nearly smacked my hand away. Her reaction made it seem like I was reaching over the register and stealing money rather than taking two pieces of inexpensive wax paper for food we had just purchased. There were other customers inside, which made the whole interaction even more embarrassing and unnecessary. I had just spent $25 at the shop and was simply trying to keep the table clean while my kids ate. If taking the wax paper was an issue, she could have politely said something instead of reacting so aggressively. I'm local to La Crescenta and would have happily returned, but treating a paying customer this way over two pieces of wax paper left a terrible impression. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

Came here for the souffle pancakes and they didn't disappoint!…read more My party of 3 stopped by Saturday afternoon 2:30 pm and it wasn't crowded. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose outdoor since it was such a nice day out. They have all of their desserts on display in the case, so you can peruse the options and see what looks good. So many of the desserts looked good, like the matcha yuzu chiffon crepe cake or the rose and lychee crepe cake. We ordered via the kiosk and got the mango sunshine souffle pancake ($16.50) and well as a couple drinks. My drink was the white peach lemon jasmine bliss ($6.25), with 50% sweetness and less ice. Even though there are signs everywhere saying that it takes 15-20 minutes for the souffle pancakes to be cooked, ours came out super quickly, in 5 minutes or so. We got it with the sauce on the side, but I regret doing that as I saw others getting it with the sauce on top and it was beautiful. The pancake was super fluffy and a bit eggy as well. We all really enjoyed it with the mango sauce. I made the mistake of eating the pancake first before trying a sip of my tea. The pancake was pretty sweet, so I could barely taste my drink, but I think it was good? I could taste a bit of the lemon but definitely not the white peach, which is a lighter flavor. I got a slice of their Hokkaido cheese cake roll for $7 to go and had it the next day. It was okay but definitely a bit pricy for what you get. I'd love to come back to try their other desserts and pancakes!

I ordered a matcha coco jasmine tea and I found that the jasmine flavor completely took over. The oolong peach crepe cake was yummy! It had little peach chunks throughout. Good oolong/peach flavor was light, airy, and slightly sweet. The black sesame chiffon roll was also light and subtly sweet with a nice nutty flavor. The cafe itself was pretty small with 3 small tables, 1 big table, and bar seatings with charging ports. The bathroom was closed and it was really warm inside. I couldn't see myself studying or staying too long, which may be for the best since parking is tricky and street parking has a 2 hour limit. An okay experience, but I don't see myself coming back.
