What a great place to visit on a trip to the Temecula Wine Region! Our tasting with Connor was not only enjoyable because of the wine, but also the friendly conversation. Connor had great advice on which wines to select next based upon our taste preferences, and his recommendations were spot on. Even though we live across the country, we decided to join the Travelers Club for a little taste of delicious California wine from afar. I've been a member here for over two years, and unfortunately I've watched the experience steadily decline over the last year. When I first joined, the service was much better and the membership felt like a good value. Now, it takes an unusually long time to get drinks, the food has become uninspired, and the menu can be confusing. The cheeseburger is probably the safest choice, but even that is just average at best. One of the main reasons I maintained my membership was the included drink credits. Throughout my membership, I had never been charged for drinks, so I was surprised when my wife and I received a bill for over $120 for two cheeseburgers and four drinks. I was told the drinks weren't covered because they were categorized differently than the drinks included in the membership plan. If that's the policy, it was never clearly explained, and the menu certainly didn't make it obvious. What disappointed me most wasn't the bill itself, it was how the situation was handled. After expressing my frustration and asking to cancel my membership, the waitress said she would get a manager. No manager ever came. Instead, she returned with a cancellation form. After more than two years of being a loyal member, it felt like nobody cared enough to even have a conversation. I understand businesses change policies and menus over time, but customer service and member communication matter. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that my loyalty meant very little. read more

Love: -Variety of delicious drinks in addition to wine: sangria flights, wine cocktails, and coffees for a necessary, afternoon pick-me-up) -Ambiance: inside is crisp and new, outside has comfy couches and a warm vibe -Restaurant: Quickly seated inside, delicious menu options, and the best truffle fries I've ever had! Drawbacks: -Need several more umbrellas outside: everyone's trying to get the seating with shade on a hot day while the unshaded areas are empty. -Cell phone service: it took us over a half hour to get enough service to order an Uber back to our hotel. I could not leave without having the sangria flight and it did not disappoint. My daughter had the seafood pasta while my husband enjoyed the chicken sandwich. Both enjoyed their meals! This was my favorite winery when we came to Temecula simply because of the vibes and the views. They had live jazz playing and the guy rocked! The Mountain View's were amazing. And the outdoor seating was so enjoyable. When we first came into town we stopped in and grabbed a spicy margarita and it was delicious. Fries were also delicious. Later that day, we took a walking journey from winery to winery and stopped here again for a tasting. It was fantastic and staff were so amazing and friendly. Totally recommend!! read more

We came here to go to the tasting room. Wines were all so good I fancy the whites more. We went and had lunch outside which is so beautiful, great view of the winery. The food was spot on, loved the fresh bread and butter. The sangria flight was so refreshing after having all the wines earlier. The pork belly was so tender. Absolutely beautiful winery. I came for my friend's 50th Birthday Party and they went big and reserved a party room and had the food and wine catered. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. This place is HUGE, they have several different areas you can enjoy and upstairs they have an area for members. It was super busy but to my surprise, they have what seemed like endless parking, one lot leading to another. It felt like I was super far but the walk was easy and a clear path to the winery. I'm not in Temecula often but definitely recommend this place for an upscale experience. read more

GAL-ENTINES - It's always hard deciding whether a themed event is worth the hype and the price tag. We chose the Galentine's event at Altisima Winery based on the description and were genuinely excited for a fun night out. We got dressed up and came ready to celebrate with our girls. Unfortunately, the event felt pretty lackluster. For an $85 ticket (including a mandatory 20% gratuity they tack on) there was only one featured cocktail and one bartender serving a sold-out crowd. Wait times were long, and spending close to an hour of a two-hour event just trying to get a drink wasn't the experience we expected. The DJ was barely audible, and there wasn't a true dance floor or space that encouraged mingling. After grabbing your cocktail and small bites, the setup had more of a cafeteria-style seating vibe than a festive party atmosphere inside a tent. It felt like an awkward middle school dance. And honestly, it felt like a bit of a money-grab event. You shouldn't leave an all-girls night out with your hair still intact, your mascara not running down your face, and not a single story of one of us in the bathroom holding her girlfriend's hair while telling her how much their friendship means... Service interactions also felt a bit off. Staff occasionally grabbed glasses while they were still in our hands and pulled tablecloths while people were still seated with their arms on the tables. It made the environment feel rushed and awkward, especially since there wasn't much active service otherwise. It was disappointing considering how much we spent for what ended up being mostly sitting and waiting. We wanted to PARTY and there was no party. I'm sure they will respond with their generic response, like the ones I've seen here. "Sorry you felt that way, and we will do better next time." But really, our lost $$$ was their gain. We ultimately ended the night at a dive bar to salvage the boring night we had at Altisima. I recommend going to LORIMAR, you'll pay a lot less for a lot more. read more

Tasting room at the front was packed at 2 pm on a Saturday. Meals are a bit overpriced but fresh & tasty. Mediterranean salad is $18 but with chicken $27. Oh how I love this winery! I was planning to bring my in-laws here with me but my niece's kid is an absolute terror and I did not want to be responsible for killing anyone's buzz on such a beautiful day...but I digress. Lol. The co-habby and I ended up going with a fave couple of ours to celebrate both of our 20th wedding anniversaries! Such a crazy coincidence that we all got married on the same exact day down to the year. And we are so glad we chose Altisima Winery for our twin anni double date. Note: They do not do reservations for parties under 8 I believe, according to their website and we were the first ones to arrive. The young host who initially sat us was a tad rude and tried to place us in a sunny spot but we wanted something with a bit more shade. He said "well, we're gonna be really busy today so let me check." Umm, first come first serve, no reservations? He sat us one table down like he was doing us a huge favor. No big deal but it kind of threw us off a bit. On a happier note, our server was absolutely awesome! He made some recommendations on wines, cocktails and appetizers/entrees. Everything was delectable and the libations were some of the best I've had out here in Temecula. We visit wineries every 2 months or so and want to try as many as possible. This winery is stunning. Absolutely beautiful. And that says alot as we've probably frequented about 15 wineries in the area. By far our favorite to date! Let's talk about the food and booze: Huge fan of their Gaspar's Grilled Cheese...quite literally the best I've ever had IMHO. Churros: these little babies were so cute and plated beautifully with a chocolate and caramel drizzle. Steak and Frites: the boys loved this. We walked up to get last"call" the only server/bartender was "busy" with another member who has purchased over 12 bottles, while i respect the hustle, my party which is a member were ignored for over 5-19 mins. By that time we were informed we could only order to go. We asked if one of our bottle could be opened since we had been patiently been waiting (also members) but we were told by Shawna no cant do.
