Brought my 2002 Chevy Tahoe here last week after an accident that left my front end needing repair. Started out messaging with Kat to get a generic quote for the work we assumed would be needed. Kat was super quick with her responses and was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and process for repairs. Dropped off the vehicle with Kat at Altra and heard back less than 24 hours later on the assessment outcome. Unfortunately, the accident had left some damage to the truck frame itself, which could not be seen until break down of the vehicle. While I'm sure sharing this outcome with me was just as unfavorable as hearing the unfortunate news, Kat was extremely kind in letting me know options I had as I shared I am not a car-savvy lady. She went over all possible options and gave me some extra time to think about what I wanted to do moving forward. Ultimately because of the age of the vehicle, it was not worth putting the money in to fix and ended up selling it to part out. Even with the unfortunate outcome (due to the accident), I would 10/10 recommend Kat and her crew over at Altra to anyone who is needing repairs. She was fast, honest, knowledgeable and did everything in her power to ensure the right decision was made at the end of the day. My experience with this family business has been incredible! I would certainly recommend them to anyone needing their expertise in vehicle repairs following a collision. What appeared to be relatively simple damage to a rear wheel and quarter panel of my Xterra turned out to also have complications underneath with the axle and traction control system. This is the best Auto Repair shop I have experienced thus far. They are honest, hardworking and professional. I have a Lexus IS 250, and I love this car, but it was part of a hit and run incident that involved other cars, and a school fence, my car was smashed into on the passenger side bumper and I was devastated, as I had taken such great care of this car, and maintained it through the years, since I had to put the repair through my insurance, they gave me a few Collision shops as options, and I asked my insurance representative which one they recommended for quick and thorough repair. Altra Collision Center was recommended, and now I know why. They are efficient, fast and friendly, my car looks just like it did before the crash or better, and they actually finished the repairs before the date scheduled to be completed. My car was side swiped just before Thanksgiving just as I was leaving town and Casey was willing to take it the day I left . I had a few problems that needed to be worked out with my insurance company that Casey handled the whole thing . They kept me aware every few days as the work progressed . Staff was super friendly and accommodating but: Had some body work done as well as the alignment. Noticed the steering wheel hadn't been reset so I called, took it back, and they fixed it (or so I thought). Steering wheel was still off so I call again and was told by one of the employees that it was likely just the crown in the road causing the steering wheel to appear crooked. I take it to Honda for a second opinion and they tell me the steering wheel had not been tightened at all after the alignment and that the damage could have been catastrophic. I understand mistakes happen. But their alignment people got it wrong not once, but twice. If you use Altra, make sure you get a second opinion too. read more

Rodger is a stand up guy and the shop does high quality work. My Kia Stinger was in a wreck a few months ago and since it's a newer model OEM parts were extremely difficult to acquire but they made it happen. Additionally, the teams support post maintenance has been hands down the best I've ever experienced with a shop. 10/10 - would recommend. read more

They speak well but when it came to the work my vehicle was still vibrating a lot and the undercarriage was not fixed. I had to take it back just for them to take it to a muffler shop. They just yanked it over which I learned later on that day did fix for help anything. They only replaced " fixed " two out of the four tires and they were rusted out already. My two tires looked almost still brand new compared to what they did. To make it worse they charged me extra fo replacing my newer tires for their rusted ones. It got to a point I was tired of come back to that place for them to fix what needed to be fixed the first couple of times . The only thing that was offered to me was sorry again and cold coffee without any cream. Make sure you check everything out multiple times then check more if yo decide to go there or it's the closest location so to speak. Altra recently repaired my vehicle that was involved in a minor fender bender. It was the fault of the other party; but Altra and the insurance company (as well as the rental car company) were all in excellent communication with each other. Everything was seamless. Although there was a minor issue with an after market part, Altra handled it in coordination with the insurance company by doing addition work on my car. Someone backed into my passenger rear door. I have custom, metallic, navy blue paint w pin-striping. I also paid extra to repaint rear bumper that was faded. I was concerned abt paint match. My Lexus now looks like NEW! Paint matches, as well as, striping! Their communication abt progress and completion was outstanding! Work was perfect! Car returned cleaned and sparkling! About a month after purchasing a brand new Tiguan I hit a curb and did some major damage to the suspension. Roger and the team at Altra was amazing! When the axel they ordered came in wrong they immediately rush ordered a new one, that one was then delayed so they worked quickly to find another solution.
