Ignore the star, it wasn't earned. At this point I'm only going to say avoid this company. Been here three times to fix the same thing in the fridge, apparently the condenser which was never replaced. Never gave an estimated time of arrival or price estimate , just showed up. After paying $ 600 for two prior visits within weeks about the same problem Mike wanted to give me a discount price to actually fix it. We are done with this. Buying a new fridge/ freezer this week, it'll be cheaper. And I should have just started with that. read more

This is an update to the previous review. I had an insurance adjuster come out and look at my floor, and we spent a few weeks negotiating a settlement since my floor will need to be repaired or replaced, depending on which route I take. I will say that my experience with the insurance company wasn't that great, the settlement wasn't very sufficient in my opinion, but it's been resolved and I was happy that this company had coverage and was honest and straightforward with what happened. My refrigerator and freezer are still working great- I would give this company a chance if you need help with your appliances- but be vigilant about how they are moved (use a hand truck, lift, or a dolly) and maybe use a cardboard box or two to put the appliance on so there is no major damage to your floors. A good, reliable company and now I can say with confidence that they are insured and honest when there is a mistake or something happens that isn't right. Give them a shot! read more

Freezer cold, fridge hot. Mike came out same day I called. Explained it was the fan had failed. Swapped out the fan and was out the door in under an hour. Before he started I asked how much we were looking at. $500-600,ge said. Final price was under $400. Good personality, knowledgeable and provides great value! read more

Mike came over the same day I called, which was 2 days after thanksgiving. No one would come out to service me the same day, I guess it being a Saturday that made scheduling very busy. Mike came in and was very pleasant. Turns out the freezer fan that circulates the air throughout the fridge died. Mike had the part, swapped it out and my refrigerator should get cold again in 24 hours. The price for parts, labor and diagnostics was $345.00. If the price was in the $2XX range I would've been happier and given more stars. But it was "THE WEEK END." So I got it fixed and got it taken care of. What else can I say. read more

I didn't even use these guys and they get 5 stars. I had an issue with my side-by-side GE fridge. Water wasn't dispensing. I called them up, they asked about the problem. The told me to try something and if didn't work to call them back. Sure enough, their suggestion (turn off the unit for 3 hours) worked like a charm. Saved me $ can I was able to fix it myself. I called again monday and this time spoke to the same guy Sam I spoke to when making the appointment. He said he will find out what happened and call me back but again never called back. Not good. DO NOT USE $60 service call, useless quote. 5 minute research he recommended replacing the compressor on fridge. The compressor was fine and the fridge is cooling, but the freezer is not optimal. His solution was to replace compressor and all wiring for $1685 instead of fixing leak. When I asked for a break up of price, he gave me wrong prices and turns out $700 is for labor. This is crazy...DO NOT USE read more

NO STARS! (but it won't allow no stars) They quoted a $50 service call...then charged us $135 for labor, for 25 minutes of work, and $160 for the part..... That was after he showed up 8 hours late! My fridge didn't cool properly.I called this company a few times at different numbers. they got many. The same person answered all the phones. It turned out the phone answerer was the same person who was the technician who showed up(Sam) . Is this a one man show company? There is nothing wrong with that- it is an Internet Age. But the ad on line doesn't suggest that. Sam also told me that the company has 2 locations. I could have a mistaken identity moment, but think not. I was attracted by the fact that the service call is $50.00 and will be applied to the fee if I agree to have the repair. Sam wrote down the diagnosis and the fee after he looked at my fridge. The fee was almost $500.00. He said he needed to recharge the freon, clean the condenser and RESET the whole panel which he implied was not easy. I was desperate to get the work done and agreed. The work was done properly and I paid promptly. I am such a proactive person.I promptly pulled out the owner 's manual after Sam was gone . It said to set the panel, you just press the off button then the on. Sam,Oh Sam. Why?.To clean the condenser, you vacuum the condenser which I did before he came, but he cleaned it again for me. The real job here is to refill the freon which he got in a tank. He was a pleasant man and got the job done. My fridge works now. But I think the fee is extremely high.Though this might be the case with other companies too, or might not (?). Next time I will give someone else a try. read more
