This is the nicest quaint coffee shop near the SJSU campus ! So, I actually had been going to this other coffee shop in Campbell a lot before that I enjoyed going to before work when I worked in Santa Clara. I then started working downtown, and then heard that one of the baristas there was opening a coffee shop close to the SJSU campus - so I was so excited ! I will sometimes come here before work to read and have some milk tea or latte before work, or I will come during my lunch break. They have nice lattes but my favorite is their milk tea ! I really like getting their green milk tea. They also have some tasty pastries like this one pastrythat is savory with a chive/cream cheese filling, and another pastry with curry potatoes in it. Their sign is pretty small, so keep an eye out for their standing sign (and they are right next to Subway). Pressed Juices are available in addition to their coffee drinks, and they have very reasonable prices! Baked goods are supplied by The Midwife and The Baker. It was busy but not crowded at 1pm on a Thursday, and I was in an out in less than 10 minutes. The coffee shop space is pretty small, with a majority of the seating being outside on the patio. The menu is pretty simple and straightforward. They offer coffee basics like lattes, mochas, and espressos, as well as seasonal drinks. AM craft also features the Midwife & the Baker pastries as well as local coffee beans for purchase. The gingerbread latte is a damn good latte. I asked for whole milk, and the frothed milk was incredibly foamy and creamy. The latte had the perfect ratio of espresso to milk with just the slightest sweetness which was perfect for me. The whole cup was extremely enjoyable and especially comforting with the mix of spices. The staff were nice, friendly, very approachable. Our lattes were done in just a few minutes or so. AM craft will easily become a part of my weekend routine. Little coffee shop that looks like it was created by some friends, nestled downtown right by the student community of SJSU. It could be easy to miss since there's no sign yet. There was a poster with an arrow that was blocked by parked cars from the street, but we just parked at the laundromat and rounded the corner. The shop isn't very big, but there's a bar area and small tables near the front. Lots of natural light for you to study by. The prices are good and the service was quick. The total cost for my iced gingerbread latte with oat milk was $4.95, and I usually pay $6-7 for specialty lattes at other cafes, so that was a pleasant surprise! Gingerbread Latte w/ oat milk: 4/5 A pretty solid seasonal drink! I love how it came in a mason jar-type cup. It's dusted with cinnamon and gives off holiday vibes. It's on E San Carlos St right across from the business building on campus and they also have free parking in the back which was super convenient. Super friendly staff, good drinks, delicious pastries, and they also have a cool coffee tasting class where they give out samples and teach you about the coffee making process. This is one of the places that I think it deserves more than 5 stars. It is a cute little place with a lot of seating, mellow music, and friendly staff. The drinks are very reasonably priced, and even oat milk is only $0.50. I like the way they display the pastries. Both chocolate croissants and ham and cheese croissants are crispy and great for the value. I would say I wish the ham wasn't so bunched up all in the middle and leave the rest of the space empty, but I still enjoyed every bite of it. We got toasted marshmallow (hot) and Assam milk tea (cold) for the drinks. We have explored a lot of good coffee shops around this area so we didn't come with too much expectations. First, price was a lot more reasonable than the others. Loved the plating and the aesthetic as we had our pastries and drinks for here. Both drinks were very good; got the milk tea light sweet and it was perfect. Tea was authentic. Toasted marshmallow was very smooth, not too sweet (we don't like sweet drinks), and the flavors are subtle but blended well together. Will definitely be back to try more. This place is a definitely hidden gem in South Bay. Their quick pour sampler cups were darn good, I don't know how their quick pours could be so good(based on my guess that they were batch brewed). I was searching on Yelp for a new coffee shop to visit on a Monday morning to get the week started and this shop popped up. I came in the next morning and was welcomed by the staff. Right away the staff shared details of their menu and pastries. I was in between a latte or a toasted marshmallow. I opted for a toasted marshmallow which was really delicious and had a subtle sweetness. Back in the day I loved sweet coffee but these days a well-executed latte makes me happy. For this reason, I waited to write this review because I wanted to try the latte as it's my usual drink. I find that many coffee shops vary in flavor for a standard latte. Sure, it has a lot to do with the coffee beans they use but my preference is a creamy consistent and delicious latte. I ordered a latte on my second visit and was very happy with the flavor. I enjoyed the entire cup. I have since visited several more times and have tried the iced vanilla latte and the hot chocolate (kiddo really likes this one). I have also had several croissants which are baked by The Midwife & The Baker and they are pleasant enough. I saw cookies last time so for my next visit I'd like to try one. The parking is limited to the street but so far it hasn't been to much of an issue as I find parking right in front most visits.
