On Saturday afternoon, a car hit our driveway gate and knocked it off the track. The gate was stuck in the open position and wouldn't budge - and we hoped to get it fixed by nightfall. We noticed that AM PM Local Gate Services had positive reviews AND was open (many other companies were closed for the weekend). We called and got through immediately. A technician was dispatched and arrived within the timeframe we were given (on the early side). The technician, Alex, is the company owner. He knew immediately what needed to happen and had the gate working perfectly it under 10 minutes! He was knowledgeable, professional, polite and respectful of our property. And, the cost was unbelievably reasonable (we had expected it to cost multiple hundreds of dollars because it was a weekend emergency house call). We are impressed and we are thankful. I have never written a Yelp review but after using the app for so many years, I thought I owed it to the community to share an excellent gate/fence contractor. I have several rental properties in Burbank and have had gates/fences/garage doors installed by other contractors. When one of the gates I had needed repair, I called AM PM (Alec/Alex) after the prior contractor blew me off for a couple of weeks. I called AM PM on a Friday afternoon and Alex came out the next day. He was on time, prepared and professional. He diagnosed the problem as a blown circuit board. He informed me of the cost to repair vs replace, the time it would take and next steps. As the project progressed, Alex found himself fixing the prior contractor's "Mickey Mouse" work. It was clear to me that if AM PM had installed the gate, it would have been done at a much more competent level. Alex demonstrated a diligence which gives me comfort that his work is done right the first time. I will be calling AM PM for all of gate needs. I understand he also does garage doors so he is now my go to garage door service. One final point, AM PM stuck with their initial estimate and didn't nickel and dime me for little things that needed to be repaired/replaced along the way. My automatic gate was getting stuck in the open position and beeping obnoxiously. In the evening, Avi, the owner, responded immediately after I submitted my inquiry. He was very responsive and accommodating. He said he could come between noon and 2:30pm the next day, but I had a meeting at 1 that I couldn't miss, and so he agreed to come right at noon. He arrived early, which I've never really experienced before. It was a good thing! He looked at the gate and within 20 minutes, diagnosed and fixed the problem. I called Am Pm Local Gate Services on the 24th to fix my electric gate that would not close due to someone hitting it, which caused the motor/sensor to be thrown off track. The very next day, Avi came to our house. He called prior to say he'd be arriving in 45 minutes. Avi was punctual, and as soon as he arrived, he immediately began working on our gate, and within 20 minutes he fixed the issue. He was professional, courteous, and friendly in explaining what the issue was and what we could do if it occurred again. I requested a quote for my gate that was not opening on a Wednesday night. The same night, Avi reached out and asked if he could come the next morning to look at the motor. I can not thank them enough for their professional and prompt response and service . Our gate broke on Saturday evening and we could not get our car out to pick up our kids ... while panicking and searching for a gate service that could come asap , we came across AM PM gate service . The owner picked up the phone and told me that one of his guy will come out the next day early in the morning. I figured it would be impossible to get anyone to come on that evening so I said okay. After 15 minutes , a guy called and told me that he can actually come to my house in 30 min!! He came and spent about an hour to fix our gate. It was around 9 when he was done ! I can not thank him enough for fixing our gate... they truly cared about the situation we were in rather than their weekend.
