When our gate stopped working, we couldn't figure out how to make it work again. Because the gate was open we couldn't access the control arm nor did we have the key to manually override it. Went on Yelp and found Avi who had great reviews. Avi was over within 2 hrs that same day. First Avi had to get the gate open manually which he did pretty quickly. Upon opening the gate it appeared as though the motor had given out as the signal was working but the gate wasn't responding. It was an old gate opener. We talked through pricing for a replacement - one with a bigger motor vs a smaller one (depending on how heavy the usage was). He said he could get the parts within the week and do the job in a few hours of the day. However, upon closer inspection, it appeared that one of the wires had been chewed up by our new puppy! Avi took a look and stripped the wires, fused them together, and taped it up with electrical tape....and it worked! It wasn't the best looking setup but it's not noticeable. I told Avi I'd go like this until the gate gave out. Avi was here about 45 minutes in total and the problem was fixed. Definitely going to call Avi next time we or anyone we know have a gate problem. I called in the morning and was able to schedule an emergency service the same day. They gave me a timeframe between 1130 and 1:30 PM and I was able to be service at the earlier end of the timeframe half an hour before they were going to come to my home to fix my problem. They let me know that they were on their way, providing good communication when they got to my house they made sure that everything was right just before they finished and made sure that everything was working before they left, I needed two remotes to be reprogrammed for my electrical gates in my front and side gate and they did both of them for a reasonable price.
