Tt has everything you'd want from a great coffee shop: comfortable seating, plenty of room to spread out and work, a rentable conference room, and something you would not expect from a coffee shop, the Aurora Bar, stocked with a nice selection of local spirits and other favorites. My partner and I stopped in for a quick nibble for lunch on Sunday and this was perfect. My partner went with the Caprese sandwich, which is served on a pressed ciabatta with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, spinach, pesto mayo, and balsamic. It was simple and tasty, and I was lucky enough to get a couple bites! I went with the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap, which was also simple, but packed with flavor. It had all the obvious ingredients with the addition of pickles, which added such a nice briny little punch and really hit the spot. Something worth noting: both of our items were ordered from the laminated menu at the register, not in the beautiful leather-bound Aurora Bar menu, which appears to be an evening menu with cocktails and other tasty food items. For drinks, I went with an espresso tonic; the slight bitterness of the quinine plays really nicely against the bold espresso, and it's one of those combinations that's refreshing in a way that's hard to explain until you try it. One small note for the team: the Riverside location has always had a real warmth and cohesion to the staff that I haven't quite felt at Bristol. It's not a dealbreaker by any stretch, but a little more energy behind the counter would go a long way. Still a five-star spot, as the coffee and the space more than make up for it.

My brother ordered the peach, and I ordered the sea salt caramel truffle - I know, very distinct flavors. Both were very tasty. They do offer a good number of non-dairy options, sundaes, pints to go, and milkshakes. They have a few tables outside, but there are also lots of benches to sit on looking out at the sunset and the water, which is where we sat. There is a large area of grass for kids to run around. The lot is made of seashells and is on the water so the ambiance is actually very nice. They'll call you when your drinks are ready so you can add cream or sugar yourself, but they usually bring food out to you. First of all, their chai is amazing. So good. They have different flavors; I'm a big fan of the vanilla chai. My dad LOVES their cappuccinos. I've had bit sweet and savory crepes here, and they're all great. They have some you can order on the menu but there is a big make-your-own menu with a whole slew of options. Usually I get the Brie, fruit, and honey crepe, it's so light, sweet; and summery!

Everything in their display case looked enticing, and staff was friendly and patient as we asked what the individual pastries were, as many had delectable creams or fillings of various flavors. They also serve up ice cream, cookies, and coffee/caffeinated drinks. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which gives off wonderful local cafe vibes. The parking lot is a bit tricky as there's only a one lane entry/exit, so could result in accidents if you and other drivers aren't careful in paying attention. We tried a Santiago orange-chocolate cake slice, an almond croissant, a chocolate chip cookie, and a selection of their 5 mini pastries. These baked treats (5/5) were all excellent in terms of quality, with delicious and satisfying flavors which we really liked. They use fresh and high quality ingredients, so while prices aren't cheap, they are reasonably in line for the quality of baked goods you're purchasing. We also ordered a cappuccino (4/5) which was beautifully presented, but wasn't our favorite among area coffee shops, but still an excellent accompaniment to enjoy their baked goods. We'll definitely be back and would recommend Madrid European Bakery and Patisserie to others. Their list of ice cream flavors looked unique and intriguing, so that only creates a dilemma of which sweet treats you choose to indulge yourself in when visiting.

The photo I took doesn't even come close to capturing how rich and indulgent it truly is. What really stood out, though, was the cake: a heavenly mix of crème brûlée and chocolate mousse that's unlike anything I've found elsewhere. Each bite was smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Euro Madrid is definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for something sweet and unique.
