Stop Three for the RI FOOD FIGHTS #bestscoopshopri brings me here. I've been a fan from afar for a while but this was my first time visiting. The shop in Warren is cute, some decent parking options and a patio meant for hanging out and eating ice cream while watching the traffic pass by. It sits right on the bike path, so you can take a leisurely walk after enjoying your sweet treat if you desire. The woman at the window was super friendly. She filled me in on some additional info about the shop. The flavors rotate based on seasonal cereals and crowd favorites. I asked for her favorite of the flavors on the board today and she suggested Golden Grahams, which happened to be one of my favorites from childhood. Before long, she presented me with my cup. It was so cute! Topped with more of the cereal crushed and a mini rice krispie treat, it was picture perfect. I was excited about digging in. The ice cream is super smooth and tastes exactly like the cereal. You may think this is going to taste like milk lightly flavored by cereal, but it actually tastes like you're eating the cereal in ice cream form. It was delightful, and the added crushed cereal broke up the smoothness with it's crunchy bits. They also feature a secret flavor of the day, and you can guess for yourself, or they will tell you if you don't feel like playing along. Even if you don't get that as your scoop, they are happy to give you a sample so you can give it your best shot! This spot was adorable and tasty. Cereal Milk Ice Cream topped with your favorite cereal on top?! Yes please! I've been to the Providence location years ago and really enjoyed it from what I remember. Found out about the Warren location when my sister moved to the area and added it to my list of places to go to next time we were in town! On this visit, we decided to take the kids on a bike ride to Tizzy K's while my sister and I ran with them on the bike path. Upon arrival, they had perfect signage leading from the bike path to establishment. Great advertisement especially after we had ran 2.5 miles one way, we were more than ready for a treat! The ladies scooping ice cream that day were very friendly and helpful! My kids and + I shared 2 scoops of the Fruity Pebbles and 2 scoops of the Cocoa Pebbles w/ Thin Mints (this one I wasn't sure of, but it totally worked!) Two scoops was more than enough! We got 2 ice creams so it was ALOT for the 3 of us to share. But no complaints, we polished it off and left with happy bellies! It wasn't busy when we first got there so there was plenty of outdoor sitting and what looked some indoor seating as well. Loved the outdoor set up and vibe. We will totally be back again! read more

I stopped because I saw a pizza sign on the bike path while I was riding 15 miles. I pulled up and their pizza was not available yet. They informed me about their ice cream and how it is different than other ice cream places. The ice cream is milk from cereal flavors. They have a different menu each week. Service was super friendly and quick. I was able to try a couple of different flavors. The outside was simple and just a good place to relax while enjoying ice cream along with the breeze. AHHHHHMAZING ICE CREAM! I definitely recommend. I will be back for more flavors. I'm hooked! read more

This was my first time trying cereal milk ice cream and I will say it did not disappoint! It was delicious, and even if you aren't sure the workers can give you a little taster to make sure which one you want. It was a very cute shack area! It does have street parking just keep in mind. We stopped by Tizzy K's as a break from doing long distance cycling from East Providence/Barrington towards Bristol and back. I wouldn't call this the best food while biking, but it's definitely very pleasurable. I was only familiar with their Providence location, so I was pleasantly surprised about this warren location that is literally a few feet away from the bike path. I ordered the Reese's Puffs w/ Reese's cups and it was absolutely fantastic!! The ice cream was creamy, not overly sweet and had huge chunks of Reese cups, which was my absolute favorite sweet treat as a child. They added Reeses puffs along with Rice krispies on top of the ice cream. They made the ice cream look delicious before my taste buds had a try. I can't wait to go again. This location has numerous seats, some heated stations for those cold days and in a spacious parking lot area with other food trucks. Wow...I don't know why it took me this long to try this icecream spot but it exceeded my expectations. I did pre-judge a bit because I'm not into cereals like I was back in the day. But I have it a shot and did see that they had my fav combo: anything chocolate with peanut butter! I ordered the Reese's puff kiddy size cup and woooooow. It was so creamy, so flavorful, so delicious! It's crave-worthy! So yea, don't judge nothing before you try it. Note to self lol The staff was super nice and allowed us to try different flavors and was patient. We went to the one in Barrington next to the bike path, which is a great location. The ambiance was cute. They have some outdoor benches for seating and a heating lamp when it gets cooler. I will be having more scoops in the future! read more

I have wanted to go here for so long and am so glad that I finally did! I had a perfect September night to go check it out. I parked one street over and walked on down. Super simple! I missed the rain by like 30 minutes and was so glad I did. However this ice cream would have been worth getting caught in the rain. The spot is perfect: on the river walk. I highly suggest getting an ice cream from here and taking a stroll around the beautiful city. It seems like they know that it's the perfect combo based on its location. They let you sample the ice creams including the mystery flavor. I appreciated this greatly! I got the lucky charms because it was 6 days til Saint Patrick's day and seemed like the right choice. Or was amazing. I loved the mini rice crispy treat garnish too. Very chic and the perfect touch. The girls who worked here were super nice, friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful experience! Visited this location several weeks ago on the last day it was open for the season and I'm so glad I was able to fit this sweet treat in! Nice little walk up window, string lights, and outdoor tables... a cute location to meet up with some friends. It was a bit too chilly to spend time outside so we hopped back in the car and delved into our desserts. We walked up to the window with only 30 minutes until close and the employees were still full of energy and seemingly excited to take our orders. I went with a Golden Grahams flavor mixed with Oreos and wow, it really hit the spot. There's something so unique about cereal milk ice cream and I love that these locations are constantly changing up the flavors and creations they're serving up. So fun! The ice cream was very smooth creamy and the mix-ins pretty chunky which made for an explosion of flavors. Definitely give it a try if you're curious! read more

I've been to the Tizzy K's spot in Providence near the pedestrian bridge a handful of times so after a long bike ride on the east bay bike path from Bristol, we had to stop here on the way home (after you try it you'll realize why it was a necessity). It's cereal milk ice cream, what's not to love about it? The flavors are creative, the service is fantastic, they're always in a great mood, happy to chat and encourage trying all the samples. Tizzy K's is in the minority serving up home made ice cream in RI. It's unique, it's fun and I love it. They don't have a "Vanilla" ice cream, ever. All their flavors are interesting and have their own subtleties. The toppings aren't necessary, they're addative to an amazingly flavored ice cream. The extra texture and bite sized rice crispy treat is simply a bonus. Try it, you won't be disappointed. I got a cup, but they also make their own ice cream cones as well (which are also cereal milk cones, some how? More points for creativity). This location has a handful of tables and benches. Parking looks tight, but there is actually very easy street parking right beside the shop as well if the lot is full (which has about 4 spots). read more

First time at Tizzy K's and I was not disappointed. The service was amazing, right when we got to the window to order the nice girl that helped us told us all about tizzy k's, let us guess the mystery flavor and try as many samples as we wanted. I got the Reeces puff and my boyfriend got fruity pebbles. Tasted just like the bottom of a cereal bowl. We sat at the picnic tables outside and enjoyed our cones. Can't wait to go back! read more
