Our group of 5 dined here on a weeknight and all of us departed happy and satisfied. Plenty of free parking and easy accessibility. A little difficult to find on my first pass by the strip mall, but worth the effort to locate for my first visit and certain it'll be fine for future trips. 5 stars because we had Georgie as our server. He was the sweetest, kindest, most patient waitstaff that I've been fortunate to meet in a long, long time. He answered all of our questions, made certain everything was ordered just as we requested, checked in on us, and had a genuine smile and gentle nature that was disarmingly epic. I would seriously revisit this restaurant in the future if I ever need a mood boost. The food was delicious -- appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Sample app dish included spring rolls, potstickers, crab rangoons and a few other items. Fellow diners ordered entrees of shrimp pad Thai, ginger wok chicken fried rice, and I selected R2 basil chicken fried rice. We each took over 1/2 of our food home because it was A LOT. Most of us selected spice level 3 of medium (levels are 1 none to 5 Thai hot) and it was perfect for my personal palate. It tingled a tiny bit, gave me a few little sniffles, but I could still feel my lips and tongue and didn't have any stomach upset. Goldilocks -- just right. I would order my entree again and again. It was loaded with vegetables (carrots, onions, zucchini), crispy and aromatic floral Thai basil leaves, and tender melt-in-your-mouth morsels of chicken breast. Two of my fellow diners ordered desserts of sticky rice and mango sticky rice. I was too full to try even a bite, but they were raving about it with a vengeance. Were able to get seated right away on a Saturday for dinner! The environment is nice, clean and comfortable, and service was good and quick. The food was not bad-- the egg rolls were good and crispy. We ordered medium for both dishes and neither were very spicy. The green curry had good flavor, but wasn't anything special. The tom yum soup was more disappointing, didn't have much tom yum flavor at all, which is usually more sour and tangy and fragrant. Overall not a bad experience! read more

This the best Thai Food that I have had since moving here. I got the lunch cashew chicken. I was not fond of hot that chicken was prepared and I'm not quite sure how to describe it except chewy. Checked out Amazing Thai in Louisville, Kentucky while I was in town visiting family for the weekend, and it turned out to be a solid pickup choice. I called in my order around 6 PM on a Saturday and grabbed it shortly after. The restaurant sits in a plaza, so it's not flashy, but it was convenient and easy to get to. Even though I ordered takeout, the inside looked clean and had a nice vibe. The food came in a flip-top container instead of the usual plastic takeout container, which was a little different. The portion looked medium-sized, and the packaging made it seem like there might be more food than there actually was, but for the price, it was still a decent deal. The food tasted good, was affordable, and gave me a solid Thai food experience overall. Ordered the chicken pad Thai and chicken fried rice- both was authentic and had flavor. this is one of my favorite thai restaurants. the tom khai soup is delicious. we have crispy tofu added to the soup. the papaya salad is crispy and delicious. the BBQ pork is wonderful. it's 4 pork chops with some kind of glazed sauce. sticky rice and salad come with the chops. we got the thai basil dish with chicken and added crispy tofu. for my son's birthday they gave him mango sticky rice. it was sweet and delicious. the staff are always nice. the owner is nice and cooks wonderfully. will return. read more

Did a to go order of the our favorite bbq pork with extra sticky rice.... So so so delicious! The lady at the register is so sweet and funny! Believe Ms Mickey was cooking it up in the kitchen so we will have to catch her when we stop to dine in!! This is a great spot, it's very chill so if you are dining in- the service is amazing and so is all the food we have tried! Really was craving curry stopped in today around 225 they close at 3. We placed our orders and food came out piping hot quickly. Now this was my first time and it wasn't explained to me how the spicy levels worked. I got a medium which is apparently a 3 on a scale of 1-5 it was so spicy. It was unbearable for me which if I'd known I would've gotten a 1 or 2 the waitress was completely unhelpful as she was essentially just trying to get us out before 3 she told me to add more rice which didn't change the spiciness it just got rid of the liquid. We were randomly out on this side of town and I saw the reviews, so we decided to pop in. I should have turned around when we walked in and I saw the plastic wrapped dishes in a show table, but I have in fact been to places that have surprised me- unfortunately this was not one of them. This is by far my least favorite Thai restaurant in Louisville. The green curry was bland- I'm pretty sure the vegetables were frozen prior to making it to my dish. The papaya salad was dingy...I know that's a strange descriptor for food, but there was nothing fresh about it. First experience here was odd, but have now gone 20+ times and feel it is the best Thai in Louisville. The menu options are great! I almost love the cashew nut chicken (extra crispy), but we've tried all the curries, pineapple fried rice, ginger chicken, crab wontons, spring rolls, and more. I'm not a huge fan of the apps, but all the main dishes are flavorful, creamy, and delicious. The place does have a nice look, not Chinese takeout, but not exceptional. It has a bar. I'm a picky eater when it comes to "authentic" Thai places but they have perfected their pad thai and pad se ew entrees with all the correct ingredients. Sadly, we did not have the experience we were hoping for. Lunch was short due to not enjoying the food enough to keep eating it and that feels like a disappointing way to spend our money. The sampler offers a variety of items and they are so ... small. It visually looked like a plate of frozen meal items but thankfully tasted better. The winner on the plate was the chicken satay and peanut sauce. I ordered the pad tai with chicken and lost my appetite with it. The smell was overpowering. My husband believed it was the fish oil on the noodles. The chicken fried rice was good and a large portion. Good flavor. I'd be willing to pick it up for takeout. Service was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful plus wanting to make the dish as we wanted. The building is plain. Not a lot of changes from the former Masa. To say their food is authentic would be an understatement, I had mine at a heat level of three and it was perfect... Honestly as good as it gets and the price is amazing for the quality of food. I'm looking forward to having more on a regular basis, this place is going to be dangerous. They use fresh wide rice noodles instead of rehydrated dry noodles! This is a first in Louisville, I can attest to this because I've looked everywhere. It is more chewy, bouncy and smoother than dried noodles. It is very similar to the Chow fun noodles in dim sum places. So, of course, I loved my pad see ew with beef and gai lan. It is sweet salty w a choice of spice levels. I appreciate places that are willing to offer "Thai Hot" on their spice scale. Found this spot on Google! Simply Thai is inconsistent so we wanted to find another go to place. We ordered som tam at spice level 4, pad Thai at spice level 3, three ingredient fish at spice level 2, and pad Thai at spice level 2. Everything was flavorful and tasted really good! Spice 3 and 2 weren't spicy. Couldn't hardly taste the spice. But spice level 4 was spicy! I would order spice level 4 again for some of the other entrees. Prices were good for what you got. So excited to visit amazing Thai. We've have live in Louisville for 25 years and the Thai choices have been lacking. We've always traveled to Cincy or Indy for good Thai food. We finally have fresh noodles in Louisville. I wonder if the others will be forced to join them. Our visit was great. The staff was super nice and accommodating. The interior was nice and clean. The Thai iced teas was huge and tasty. We are admittedly fresh rice noodle snobs and we were not disappointed. My pad see eaw with Chinese broccoli was outstanding! I've had a lot of Thai food in my life and I would consider this to be just average; nothing special about it. My 1 star review is not because of the food, it is because of their lack of concern for the safety and health of their customers. They use extremely cheap styrofoam for their takeout food. I poured the food into my own bowl only to find that the bottom of the takeout foam was melted and disintegrating. Even simply running your finger over it broke the foam like it was paste. You can go figure out for yourselves what ingesting styrofoam will do to your body. If they can't even package their food safely how can you trust they are doing other things correctly. I will never buy food here again as I wasted $40 throwing plastic covered food away. read more

The amazing Thai location is out in Middletown in a strip mall. It was formally a Filipino restaurant . It is now a Thai restaurant. We went for lunch and there were great options for lunch combinations. I really appreciated that for a lunch combo. You could get an entrée, a spring roll and a soup. It was really a great deal and a great option. I got the Pad Kee Mow with tofu. It was delicious and it was on point with the spice. My friend got the Thai eggplant with no spice and it was also on point. She also enjoyed a Thai iced coffee, which was excellent. I think it was most impressed with the soup as well. It was flavorful, warm and hearty. It was perfect for a cold winter day. Our service was prompt and kind. I would definitely like to go back on a lunch hour to try another dish. read more

Best Thai food in Middletown, and possibly Louisville. Get the Khao Soi the noodles and the pickled mustard greens are incredible. Pad Ke Mow has actual thai basil and is the best I have had in town. Tried Amazing Thai (via DoorDash so wr did not get the in restaurant experience) for the first time last night. We don't have a lot of experience with Thai food that said I would say very good. Had the Thai basil beef, heat level three, very good. Compared to typical Chinese food the quality of the meat was significantly better. Additionally had the Crab Rangoon and the Eggrolls were better than your typical. Sweet-and-sour sauce was light and savory compared to the typical very sweet, thick red sauce. Service was quick as we ordered and it was delivered inside of 35 minutes. Definitely will try again and continue to explore the menu. read more

This food is DELICIOUS. I wish I had thought to take photos. We had the lemongrass chicken and the BBQ pork. Everything is seasoned to perfection, well-plated, and service is prompt. The restaurant itself has a family atmosphere and is run by attentive and caring staff. Prices are very reasonable- between $10-20 per person for an entree- many appetizers are between $7-15. We had a spectacular time and will be back! The lemongrass chicken was an absolute highlight of this meal- crispy and spicy and utterly spectacular.
