We were told the food served at Amazing Thai was just that, AMAZING!! We were immediately greeted by a lovely hostess, the walls were decorated with pictures from Thailand, seating was comfortable, &'the menu was extensive. The waitress was polite, great service, & she made sure we were aware of the heat levels of the food; most of our group ordered mild, I ordered medium heat. Our food was served quickly, hot, & so delicious. We spent 2-weeks in Southern Thailand, what we enjoyed today was the closest to what we ate in Bangkok, highly recommend this authentic Thai Restaurant.

Checked out Amazing Thai in Louisville, Kentucky while I was in town visiting family for the weekend, and it turned out to be a solid pickup choice. I called in my order around 6 PM on a Saturday and grabbed it shortly after. The restaurant sits in a plaza, so it's not flashy, but it was convenient and easy to get to. Even though I ordered takeout, the inside looked clean and had a nice vibe. The food came in a flip-top container instead of the usual plastic takeout container, which was a little different. The portion looked medium-sized, and the packaging made it seem like there might be more food than there actually was, but for the price, it was still a decent deal. The food tasted good, was affordable, and gave me a solid Thai food experience overall. Ordered the chicken pad Thai and chicken fried rice- both was authentic and had flavor. I'd stop by again next time I'm in the area.

I have been coming here for a while. I simply love the flavors and quality that Miss Micki creates. Everytime, I try to get something different. I have yet to be disappointed. Do I have a favorite? All of them, so far. Fair market pricing, fresh ingredients. Lots of love goes into what comes out.

This the best Thai Food that I have had since moving here. I got the lunch cashew chicken. I was not fond of hot that chicken was prepared and I'm not quite sure how to describe it except chewy. The sauce and vegetables were spectacular. The soup is wonderful as well as the roll. It was plenty of food for the price. I also brought home pineapple curry. wow. It is so good and again a great portion. The restroom was clean. Really like this place

this is one of my favorite thai restaurants. the tom khai soup is delicious. we have crispy tofu added to the soup. the papaya salad is crispy and delicious. the BBQ pork is wonderful. it's 4 pork chops with some kind of glazed sauce. sticky rice and salad come with the chops. we got the thai basil dish with chicken and added crispy tofu. for my son's birthday they gave him mango sticky rice. it was sweet and delicious. the staff are always nice. the owner is nice and cooks wonderfully. will return.

Really was craving curry stopped in today around 225 they close at 3. We placed our orders and food came out piping hot quickly. Now this was my first time and it wasn't explained to me how the spicy levels worked. I got a medium which is apparently a 3 on a scale of 1-5 it was so spicy. It was unbearable for me which if I'd known I would've gotten a 1 or 2 the waitress was completely unhelpful as she was essentially just trying to get us out before 3 she told me to add more rice which didn't change the spiciness it just got rid of the liquid. So service definitely was NOT a high point. The food did taste amazing just too spicy for my taste. Idk if I'd return

While visiting Louisville last week, I had lunch at Amazing Thai. This was a treat as I don't often eat Thai food. The staff was courteous and quickly resolved my issue with dirty silverware. My meal was fresh and delicious. I would definitely return to Amazing Thai.

Khao soi...phenomenal. Nowhere else in Louisville that I've found.

First experience here was odd, but have now gone 20+ times and feel it is the best Thai in Louisville. The menu options are great! I almost love the cashew nut chicken (extra crispy), but we've tried all the curries, pineapple fried rice, ginger chicken, crab wontons, spring rolls, and more. I'm not a huge fan of the apps, but all the main dishes are flavorful, creamy, and delicious. The place does have a nice look, not Chinese takeout, but not exceptional. It has a bar. Appears that takeout is a large part of their business, and the staff are always very nice. Great place!

Do not order on doordash. This cost me almost 40$. No shrimp in it at all. Such a ripoff. May be different in store but for delivery they are extremely stingy. Maybe enough for one bowl

This is the best Thai restaurant in Louisville! We've been back here several times. The flavors, quality and consistency is always top notch! I specifically go for their noodle dishes. I'm a picky eater when it comes to "authentic" Thai places but they have perfected their pad thai and pad se ew entrees with all the correct ingredients. And shame on those complaining about the smell and fish sauce, you unfortunately haven't had the real deal and don't know any better.

Sadly, we did not have the experience we were hoping for. Lunch was short due to not enjoying the food enough to keep eating it and that feels like a disappointing way to spend our money. The sampler offers a variety of items and they are so ... small. It visually looked like a plate of frozen meal items but thankfully tasted better. The winner on the plate was the chicken satay and peanut sauce. I ordered the pad tai with chicken and lost my appetite with it. The smell was overpowering. My husband believed it was the fish oil on the noodles. The chicken fried rice was good and a large portion. Good flavor. I'd be willing to pick it up for takeout. Service was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful plus wanting to make the dish as we wanted. The building is plain. Not a lot of changes from the former Masa. The lighting is so low that you are sitting in the dark no matter the time of day. Huge parking lot. Good for groups, small parties and families.

They use fresh wide rice noodles instead of rehydrated dry noodles! This is a first in Louisville, I can attest to this because I've looked everywhere. It is more chewy, bouncy and smoother than dried noodles. It is very similar to the Chow fun noodles in dim sum places. So, of course, I loved my pad see ew with beef and gai lan. It is sweet salty w a choice of spice levels. I appreciate places that are willing to offer "Thai Hot" on their spice scale. I got medium so that I can further personalize it with the condiments set brought to the table. The Hainan Chicken I brought home was also yummy. That sauce is awesome. Service was friendly and very efficient. I would definitely come back for the other authentic offerings.

To say their food is authentic would be an understatement, I had mine at a heat level of three and it was perfect... Honestly as good as it gets and the price is amazing for the quality of food. I'm looking forward to having more on a regular basis, this place is going to be dangerous. I've only had takeout, but the staff were exceptionally nice, and the atmosphere in the restaurant appears to be warm and hospitable looking forward to dining in at some point in the near future.

The food last night was quality; the pad thai, jalapeño beef, spring rolls, shrimp fried rice, etc ... all kicked ass & we took home plenty of Sunday dinner/Saturday leftovers. So here's my 'suggestion/watch out' negative to all who read this - 8 minutes to serve the apps - not bad. But then nothing from a waitress with 2 tables who were already eating. We were her only other table. The apps were followed by 35 min to deliver 6 plates of rice & noodles ... that's unacceptable. I suggest your staff be trained better, & that the owner/manager (she was there) help out when a table is ignored like we were. There were 4 2-tops and a 3-top when we arrived, and one 3-top came in after us. We waited until after the dinner rush for a reason. So. That's my suggestion. Service speed & pacing is half the tip, if not more. Now ... (clears throat) ... here's my 'watch out' - the server handed me a bill with a 20% gratuity already on the bill; and the tax was generated ON THE TOTAL WITH THAT TIP!! No notice on the menu or anywhere about large parties & automatic tip policy. Nothing. And 2 adults + 4 kids (ages 6-12) with no high chairs ... that's not a large party anywhere I've heard. Now back to the overcharge ... that's a violation worthy of mention to y'all Yelpers, & to the licensure offices in Louisville city & Jefferson County. If this business has done this previously & kept that excess tax ... that's a federal violation that can shut a restaurant forever. Now ... I don't like reporting small businesses in general nor will I report them for this tactic. But Yelpers need to know, & watch for this. This nonsense has to stop, and no amount of good food makes up for these abuses. It happens often. Be aware. Aftermath: the boss removed the gratuity when I told her what happened. She was nervous as hell (as she should've been). Her reaction gave me the feeling that either she had knowledge of this practice OR she realized her server had put her business in peril ... but she was REALLY edgy & apologetic afterwards. With all if this, I didn't use it as an excuse to NOT tip. I waited & bartended for over 20 years myself. I left 15%, which is very kind considering what they tried to pull off. But the food was excellent. I took no photos. The rooms are fairly industrial park & not much in the way of stylish. I don't count that off on the gratuity or blame employees. The boss makes that choice. She needs to address placing boxes in aisles & cleaning products here & there; it makes for less than pleasing ambiance in any eatery. I'm tempted to avoid this place, but in a week or so, I intend to go back and let the boss read this (if they don't see it sooner) and tell me what's what. I'm open to correction, so is anyone... or any business. Maybe we'll shake hands & I'll leave with a bag full of food. After all... it was good the first time, and I'm a fat bastard. I need my carbs! So ... if you read this far ... God bless you. See you next rant...

I really dislike that feeling under my shoes. When we first got there the service was good and attentive. However, that changed over the course of our visit. We started with a sampler appetizer. We got it with the pork belly. Everything on the sampler was good except the pork belly was dry. I ordered one of the summer specials, the Sweet & Sour stir Fry as did my friend. Her husband ordered the Pad Thai. The main dishes took an extraordinarily long time to come out. It felt like the servers were having to cook the meal too, which I felt bad about if that was the case. My Sweet & Sour stir fry was fine. It didn't stand out one way or another. My husband didn't care for his meal but I have forgotten what he ordered. My friend said the Pad Thai was ok but he's had better.
