Vartan (the owner) has hired the best and most knowledgeable manager I have encountered and he is Sam! Sam has expanded my palate and taught me well in all things cigars. Additionally Sam hires the the best and trains them to be even better. Speaking of the best Ambassador has the finest inventory in the entire state. The Peoria location is closest to me and it features a beautiful walk-in humidor, a bar with beer, wine, coffee and soft drinks. The smoking lounge is stylish, comfortable, relaxing and has state of the art ventilation. You may watch HDTV, listen to music, enjoy their WiFi, or just converse. Plenty of ample parking and great hours but best of all are the people both customers and staff. Stop in and enjoy! read more

Was in Phoenix for the weekend visiting family from Orange County Cali and found this gem of a cigar lounge. The lounge is modern and contemporary with monitors on every wall. The humidor is huge with a super large selection of all major brands. The best aspect of this cigar lounge is the outstanding customer service. All of the lounge sales associates and management are low key and not pushy when providing advice on selection. Great knowledge and back stories on cigar brands are also outstanding. They moved from the old location to a much better location with more space. They even offer complementary bottled water. I have to say that I was impressed. Been there a hand full of times and the seating is always great. The staff there is also very professional and always helpful. I went by to check out the new cigar shop. I had recently noticed the name change and thought I would check it out. I had not been to the previous establishment either. First thoughts: Did not look too comfortable. Very basic non-paying lounge area. Greeted by a nicely dressed gentleman which I thought was classy, but seemed a little pretentious. Overall vibe seemed uninviting. I checked out their humidor, and all seemed fairly well stocked. Been there several times but I don't go any longer due to some made up cigar tax they apply to their luxury cigarets. Not sure why they are adding multiple taxes onto cigarettes but I don't pay them at other locations. To me this is theft and who wants to do business with a thief. I am not calling them a thief because for all I know they could be right however I feel that they are charging me for something I am not required to pay and I'm not wasting my time to research it. They have a large selection of cigars and it's a hit and miss on how good the service is. I have found another place I like more so I'm going to stick with them from now on. read more

Ambassador off of Bell and 75th in Peoria This is the best Cigar Lounge around! This Cigar Lounge is the cleanest lounge in phoenix. They have vary good Ventilation so your eyes are not all watery from all the smoke. If you are a regular cigar smoker or just buying one for someone and have any questions you have to see Tylor. This guy knows pretty much everything about Cigars. He will sit you down and school is in session. lol You will leave knowing so much more about cigars than when you walked in. Eric and Sam are also vary knowledgeable about cigars. But one thing about them is they are all vary attentive. They make you feel at home from the minute you walk in. Not like other places where they don't wait on you or never ask if you need something like another drink. Oh by the way they do have a bar. When you go there you won't feel like your in someone's garage.The bathrooms are super clean. When you wash your hands no paper towel dispenser here. You dry your hands with a clean fresh hand towel. Yup that's the way they do it! They have a good size humidor with a vary good selection. These guys won.t just stand there and watch over you. They will help you make the best selection and make sure you are happy when you leave. Good amount of TV's to watch any of your favorite sports. Am not going anywhere else. Thank you Ambassador. Absolute Stellar customer service!! I walked in and Sam was in the middle of lighting up a cigar but stopped to take the time to introduce himself. He then proceeded to show me around the whole place, members only area they are putting together, board/ conference room, smoking lounge, and finally the humidor. He asked questions to find out what kind of cigars I usually smoke and made some fantastic recommendations... with pretty darn good prices also. I thought walking in that it was going to be an overpriced cigar shop but I was wrong.... they are very competitive with pricing. They also enter your name in the system which keeps track of the cigars you purchase so you can always reference back to find what you liked. Sam and I then ended up having conversation that had nothing to do with cigars. I felt very comfortable in the place and will absolutely return to give them my business. read more

Stopped by Ambassador after picking up tickets for the Fiesta Bowl. Turned out to be one of the best cigar shopping experiences I've had! They were tremendously helpful, knowledgable and had a great respect for all things cigar and cigar culture. They guided us through their large, well stocked (floor to ceiling) humidor. They had all my favorites, Tatuaje, Liga Privada, FF-Opus X, and Diamond Crown JC's. They also had an outstanding collection of rare and hard to find cigars. Their customer service was outstanding, they have one of the best variety of quality stock I've seen. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this store. read more
