Outside patio seating as well. A very pleasant and knowledgable waitress, Joell welcomed us, got our drinks and presented the evenings specials answering our questions as she went along. We ordered a wide variety of dishes including Onion Soup, Asparagus Soup, main courses of Maple Salmon, Vegetable Pasta, and Shrimp Pasta. Sides included Mashed Red Potatoes, Creamed Spinach and delicious House Salads. Desserts to share included Hot Apple Crisp and warm Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice cream and whipped cream. The mushrooms were barely cooked, and the sandwich was dry. I even requested au jus in an attempt to salvage it, but unfortunately that didn't help. To make matters worse, my side salad was initially forgotten. To the server's credit, she removed the sandwich from my bill and offered to bring me something else. However, by that point I had lost confidence in the meal and declined. I ultimately ended up eating only the side salad. While the service recovery was appreciated, the food itself was a major disappointment. In the end, the only thing I ate was the side salad, which cost $8 on its own. While I appreciate the server's efforts to make things right, the food quality and execution were far below expectations. I left hungry, disappointed, and unlikely to return.
