At the Frisco, TX Stonebriar location at 10:05 on Saturday and our movie starts at 10, theatre was not even open. There is a crowd of employees and customers that are not able to get in because no managers showed up . This is a terrible way to run a business. Update: came in to get my refund from Sat, theatre is closed and no reason why posted anywhere. We are done with AMC for good.

This is NOT A DINE-IN!!! You show up 30 min early to stand in line to order from the counter and STILL arrive late for your movie. 16$ chicken tenders and a ridiculous system. Never ever again! No way around it. If you want a coke it's a 45 min wait!! 3 cashiers w the line around the corner. Ridiculous!!!! Can't say enough and only came to this one because Tolkien is not playing anywhere else.

AMC has been late to the game and they joined with a whimper. Let's start with the new luxury lounge seating: AMC offers very narrow seats with a lean back angle that may or may not be a few degrees more than Cinemark's. My biggest complaint is how small the seating is. Merely shifting slightly caused me to accidentally hit the recline control buttons (which is annoying to everyone when your seat whirrs mid-movie) and I am not a big person by any means. The seat itself is slightly more comfortable (softer) than Cinemark's. The best reclining luxury seats around can be found at Moviehouse Eatery - large reclining angle, comfortable, and wide enough for wiggle room/a large person. Now, the food: It was served fairly quickly (by the end of trailers) and it was hot. I watched a 2+hr movie and at the end of it, my stomach was feeling funny. There was a piece of lettuce in my burger that chewed like paper. After the movie, I inspected it to see if I had accidentally bit off the burger wrapper, but no, it was a piece of lettuce. The bacon ranch flavor was fine, but the burger patty was dry. The fries were amazing. They were fried to perfection and well salted. They also serve the fries with a small container of ketchup. The flatbread pizza tasted a little better than Totino's. My complaint for the flatbread is that it is not worth $13. Change that to $5 and I would be satisfied. Don't forget there is a $1 delivery fee for each order, so they're not losing money anywhere. Now let's go back to the ordering process: you have to stand in the concessions line. I watched a matinee showing so no one was there, but good luck to you on a weekend opening night. Have proof of your auditorium and seat ready so you don't hold up the line. I had a ticket link sent to my phone, but that's useless here. You will have to pull up your order confirmation email if you purchased your ticket online. Since I suppose the line is usually long, you will probably have enough time to watch the annoying menu screen flip back and forth 20+ times, but again, there was no line for me, so I had to wait for the screen to flip back and forth to see the cost of whatever item I was considering. I eventually figured out that just about everything costs $13. Why not just put the cost on your paper menu, AMC? If you plan on changing your prices often, then at least have two separate monitors - one held at the regular concessions screen and the other at the meal menu screen. The paper menus are counterintuitive because it looks like you're supposed to fill something out, but they provide no pen or pencil for you to do that until you get to the counter - a poor design that is sure to hold up the line. You don't have to fill anything out unless you want to customize your meal. Also, I can't stress enough how annoying it was to not have the price just printed on the menu. Overall, I would continue to patronize Moviehouse Eatery - better food at lower prices, better experience for about the same total price. The only thing that costs more at Moviehouse is tip, but I appreciate the convenience of ordering from my big, comfortable seat and having a menu that includes the price, so it's money well spent. I gave my one star experience two stars because I believe AMC is taking this seriously, and because the dine-in is still so new, they still have opportunities to improve.

If money is no object I'd still choose moviehouse or Cinemark because they are 100% reclining seats.

The event was held at a hotel downtown Dallas in one of the conference rooms. The event had a cash bar (cocktails and beer), and a four course meal. There were pass hors d'oeuvres before the event began. Once you were seated at your assigned table, they began the meal with a salad. The croutons were stale. I didn't touch my salad after a few bites. For the entree, we had a choice between fish or chicken, so my fiancé and I ordered one of each. For our event, the option was a grilled salmon with a side of broccolini, or grilled chicken breast with a side of house potatoes. Overall, the entrees were better than expected, but nothing to really rave about. For dessert, they sliced up 4 different types of cakes for each person to sample. They were pretty standard. The venue had valet parking, but you can find a spot via SpotHero to self park. The men and women ("detectives") leading the mystery hunt made the whole night enjoyable! This is a PG-13 event and there were some inappropriate jokes tossed round. We laughed so much, and got to meet a lot of nice people! FYI, you will need to get out of your seat to "interrogate" the people in the room to try to figure out who the "killer" is. There are actors and actresses hidden within the audience, which made it so much more fun!

We arrived a bit early, so we grabbed a couple of drinks while waiting for the rest of our group. I ordered a double Tito's and cranberry--it was made perfectly and definitely hit the spot. Once we headed inside, it looked like seating was first-come, first-served, but we had opted for the VIP tickets. Having those reserved spots gave us a fantastic view of the stage; I highly recommend going the VIP route if you can! The show itself was top-tier. The openers had great sets that really warmed up the room, and then the "Queen" herself, Kelly Kells, took the stage. It has been a long time since I've laughed that hard! I was so grateful we chose this night to head out. In terms of the venue, everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff was impressive--they were super on top of it and got our food and drink orders out to us quickly despite the crowd. I'd definitely come back for another show!

Front door, bar tender, tour guide etc all so funny and kind which is why we'll be back for a show even though not for this tour. First of all, this is advertised online as a 75 minute tour. So when we ended after 45 minutes I was a bit disappointed to say the least. Barely 45 minutes too as we stopped once for a "photo op in a mural tunnel" and again go tell our own ghost stories to each other. It was also advertised as a funny comedic ghost tour with lots of stories. Our guide tried his best at some jokes about his ex Tammy, which were cute, but really struggled with the ghost aspect. There really weren't any ghost stories. He kept referencing the "broken hearts tour" as if we were going to hear some tortured stories of relationships, but we didn't. Additionally, we signed up for the "Hidden Hauntings Ghost Walk". So I think they've got a little bit too much going on to be well organized enough to coordinate this as a success. The EMFs were a bit gimmicky but what was worse was the fact that it was during the bright daylight? The vibe was strange but again, the staff were so kind so we didn't walk away upset ‍. Tl:dr ghost tour not as advertised but staff were nice enough that I'm sure other things they do are fun.

Okay, I'll start with the good... + The food usually tastes good as do the drinks (iced tea or wine). + The popcorn is dairy free and tasty! Plus it's free refills. + Online booking is easy and hassle free + Now for what needs improvement... - the service is usually pretty awful. I've sat in the theatre, button pushed, waiting for someone to take my order for over 20min - we've had moments where there was ONE employee in the entire building over 21yrs old so that ONE person was the only one who could deliver drinks to the entire theatre - whaaat?! - the servers never seem to want to be there and their attitude usually reflects the poor management of the overall place - the bathrooms are barely clean and usually out of paper towels if you're there on a weekend - I'm usually charged for something I didn't order or overcharged for something I did - The showtimes are all over the place and over the past year the kid or family movies are never during the day or a reasonable afternoon/evening time I'm also disappointed to see they got rid of their Kids Summer Series - we used to wait in line with a few other families for those movies.

Expect to pay entrée prices for appetizers with over priced entrees. Our recent visit this week ended up with an appetizer and one entrée... which already felt steep but the real kicker was paying $9 for a Diet Coke!!! Their royalty program is also not really worth it compared to others. If you're looking for a more upscale experience one time and don't mind the bill this will probably fit your needs... however if you're a regular moviegoer I would suggest one of the alternatives.
