The lobby and food line, pickup and popcorn butter station are very unclean. The floor can use a good sweep. The pole next to the popcorn butter needs a deep clean. I hadn't been to this theatre in years, went this Monday to see Demon Slayer in IMAX mind you I'm used to theatres now having reclining seats at the bare minimum. This location is dated, doesn't look like any money has been invested in renovations, the seats practically have you at a 90degree angle. The seats are also torn with many arm rests being broken. The hall way is super small offering little leg room. Seats rock back and forth but feel like they're not bolted into the ground. I spent 40 bucks for two tickets and another 9 for a drink to share with my wife. Won't be coming back to this theatre unless they do some renovations for comfort you're charging 20+ dollars a ticket money isn't an issue for AMC, also they presold the slayer merchandise to scalpers before the movie even released. Sadly, this establishment/business has suffered heavily from the pandemic. Pre-COVID, you would walk in here and have to fight your way through crowds all while being treated with the smells of freshly cooked food coming from the kitchen. Staff members were hustling getting food and drinks from the bar out to the customers in the theaters. I mean, the place was HOPPING. Now, you find a mostly empty lobby full of echoes from the occasional customer. Staffing is greatly reduced and the interior has undergone some serious wear and tear with no upgrades. Coming here is depressing, but the experience is reflective of what has happened with many businesses. Sad. I haven't been here post-COVID on a weekend, so maybe that explains some of the decline here, but it doesn't explain it all. I wish this place the best of luck. read more

Your whole experience is going to be tied to which theatre you get into. Some theaters are worth the $18/ticket price point and some are billed for that much but are complete garbage. I would never advise someone to pay full price here - always take advantage of their matinee pricing (30% off before 3pm, daily) because this theater isn't as nice as others in the community. The food is also hit or miss. I have been charged for a large popcorn and given a medium paper bag. The girl insisted it was a large, but every other time we have gone it's been the bucket. Half of the time the popcorn is 35% unpopped or kernels. I get they're just teenagers but it's like $10. I would advise you to go to EVO entertainment in Southlake. The theaters are all the same, the pricing is comparable to Grapevine Mills, but the theaters have heated seats that recline and the food comes out how you would expect. read more

No, just no. Don't even check the website, because that snack food you see isn't even available. They'll tell you they haven't had the friendly, smiley wait folks you see on their web site for over 3 years. You get in line at the concession stand, order whatever happens to be available, and wait for your number to be called. And drinks? No. There's a bar, but when we went we waited 20 mins for someone to take our order, only to be told there wasn't a bar tender and just tell him what we wanted (which was limited to wine and beer so don't think you're going to get a delicious fresh drink)! No, all corners are cut to obtain maximum profit AND IT SHOWS. This isn't the theater I remember and used to look forward to going to. It's a sad hapless version of its younger self and the walls literally cry wishing to go back to it's glory days. So disappointing. 10/10 do not recommend, unless the amenities don't matter to you. I ordered my tickets online to see the Jurassic dominion. But i wanted my tickets printed outside but no one was available so we went inside. The employee at the customer service desk scanned it for us. We soon made our way to the consession to get a large popcorn. The large was $9.39 with a total of $10.16 with a free refill. Ticket buyers beware! I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED in my recent trip here. I have been coming here for years and although the quality has continued to decline over the years, this last visit was FRUSTRATING. I went to see Wicked with my family and we got seats in the last row at the back of the theater (Theater 12). When we sat down in our seats, the entire bottom foot of the screen was cut off due to the barricade in front of us and only got worse if you tried to recline the seat. We were going to try to move seats, but everywhere else was filled. I did try out a vacant seat before it was filled and closer rows are not blocked as badly (gets better with each row as you move closer to the screen). But still! I shouldn't pay to watch a movie comfortably and not be able to see all of it! This also wasn't just a short people problem-my dad, who is 6'2" also had trouble seeing the screen. Fortunately, we had our coats and were able to fold them up and sit on them so that we could see the screen, as long as we maintained perfect posture. read more

On Christmas Day, I dragged my hubby to AMC to see the newest Star Wars- yes, I am a nerd. If you have never seen Grapevine Mills AMC, it is humongous. Two floors humongous. I purchased the tickets online in case it were to sell out, first time to do this. Once we arrived at the door, I just had to pull up the bar code and then walked in. Very easy and we didn't have to wait outside in the cold to buy the tickets. When you enter the theater, you see the concession stand straight ahead and a bar area to the left. Like, a full bar from what I could see. How nice! There is also a nice seating section to hang out and enjoy your beverage. Like any other theater, the concessions are fricking outrageously expensive. I mean, $4 for a small fountain drink, $6 for popcorn. Ah well, when in Rome, right? We usually go see a movie once a year, so we went for it. What is cool is that they are two areas that offer a butter machine for popcorn. Hot, melted, vein-clogging gold flowing all over the popcorn. And true to Texas, there was a bin full of sliced jalapenos to add to any of your food selections. We opted for a normal movie instead of dine-in, 3-D, etc. The theater itself was large and the seats were comfy. They didn't recline but they still were nice. Dilapidated hell-hole. I know times are tough for AMC right now but my god, almost every part of this theater is a letdown. Half the menu is gone, seats are torn up and smell of mildew, the food they do have is utter garbage, popcorn is cold, the staff they do have are very nice but they really need more people to help speed up the lines. IMAX screen is small, much smaller than others I've been to. Popcorn butter dispensers are almost all out of service, and there's no seasoning at the popcorn stations. It's the only place around so we don't really get a choice here. Beer is a big plus. Thank god there is beer and there are jalapeños which is nice. Staff is exceptional and manager was great as well. Company needs to do some renovations, at least fix the armrest and do something about the smell. read more

The AMC Dine-In in Grapevine is one of my favorite movie theaters. They also have a section without any dine-in service but you can go buy your own food from a fairly limited selection. The seats are not as comfortable as the dine-in section. They also have a really nice bar in the Dine-In section that you pass as you go toward the movie theaters. Each theater is fairly small which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's a little crowded and it would be nice if it they had recliner seats or that you could at least lean backwards somewhat. The menu is the best of the theaters I frequent, they also have a kids menu. The variety is really nice. It would be great if they had healthier options with 800 calories or less or if you had the option of replacing/take out certain ingredients. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Quinoa bowl which was really tasty. It also had roasted asparagus, caramelized onions, feta cheese etc. It was supposedly only 600 calories and filled me up. I would order this dish if it was available at a restaurant. They have a full bar you can order from and they have an impressive number of soft drinks. Every coca-cola you can imagine as well as pepsi and many other soft drinks plus the usual ice tea and water. So many theaters have switched to pepsi products only which drives me crazy because I don't like pepsi so the only options available is ice tea or water. The soft drink is a little expensive at $5.49 but of course you get free refills. The total was about $31 for one appetizer, one entree and two soft drinks which I think is reasonable. If we lived closer to this location, we would come here more often. read more

This has to be the absolute worst AMC theater that I've ever been to. Let's start at the entrance. Ticket taker had no social skills whatsoever. No smile, no "welcome to amc", no "thank you". Nothing! Now let's move on to the concession stand. When we got there the same thing, two kids up front with no greeting, no smile, nothing! They gave us a large popcorn that was extremely salty. So much so that my wife had to go and ask them to make us a fresh batch. Obviously she got nothing but attitude when she did that. Now let's move to the seating and theater. Seats are all torn and tattered and apparently there is a light attached to the back edge of the seat to help when exiting the theater but everyone of them were burned out and the button was worn and broken. These seats don't even recline like most other AMC theaters. They need to change the name of this theater to "Ghetto Screens." Even when exiting the theater there was an usher standing at the exit waiting for everyone to exit and he didn't say a single word to anyone that was leaving thanking them for their business. Oh yeah, no soap whatsoever in the women's restroom. Absolutely horrible, horrible, horrible!!! This place needs to be condemned! read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS THEATER! This theater is a joke. Screens have glares explained as "hallway lights". We had paid for six VIP seats only to find out there was a wall directly in front of us blocking the bottom of the screen making us sit on our jackets to even see the whole screen. And if you want to actually recline, you only see half the screen. Lastly, we told management and guest services told us we can only refund 3 of the six vip tickets bought!! After making multiple points management finally said to refund the full amount. After all that, we were then told they actually cannot refund us at all since we paid through Apple Pay! That is a bold face lie as I have been refunded by several companies via Apple Pay. Reluctantly we had to take a gift card for the theater...NEVER AGAIN. I think AMC is getting lazy. $10/ticket for a dine-in full service theater that was filthy, and we sat with the "light-buttons pressed" for a full 30 minutes before we even saw someone who appeared they would take our order. However, then they seemed confused. They'd look at us, then walk past us to the row behind us, then look around and walk away?? Then another person with a handheld device that looked promising did the same thing. Super strange experience. Eventually we waved someone down who looked panicked (not the same person as either times before) and painstakingly told him our order. On top of that, why is everything $16-17? From salad to quesadillas. Appetizers are $9-12. Kids meals are $9, but at least those come with fries and a drink. Iced tea is $5+, I know, "movie theater pricing" but after paying a "premium" ticket price I expect SO much more. The seats were uncomfortable and the rows were too close together, every time the kid behind me moved his feet he kicked the back of my chair and it would bounce like a car with bad shocks. Moviehouse and Eatery is just down the road. The seats are comfortable and the menu has a better span of price points and higher quality food (and my expectation is low - like theme park food low). Even Studio Movie Grill in Lewisville with a bunch of rolly office chairs are better. I'm super disappointed, as an AMC Premiere Member, I guess I'll just stick to the cheapo theater until my membership is expired. Premiere gets you nothing with the dine-in. YIKES! We only visited this theater because they were the only ones, who still had seats open for Endgame on the preview night. I read a lot of the reviews and most, I didn't think could really be that bad. YIKES, it was! I went prepared, before leaving my home I put some Lysol Wipes in my purse and actually used them. Their seats are old, I assume. Every time a few people moved, you could hear their chairs squeak. You could see the grease stains on some seats, the floors were sticky, and some of the trays were dirty. The chair was a bit uncomfortable, and I'm sure they're more than due for an upgrade. The food, we took a gamble on the churros and a sushi roll. Thank goodness, we didn't get sick. They were decent, but nothing to write home about. We recently went to see a film that was set to begin at 7. At around 7:15, it still had not started, so my husband went out to the guest services desk to ask about it and was told they'd get someone on it. Around 7:25, it still wasn't on, so we called up to the front just to check in, and the girl hung up on us. At about 7:30, it finally started, but there was no sound, so I had to go back out to ask about it. They started it over at 7:40, but there still was no sound for the first few minutes of the film. We had actually stood up to walk out when the sound finally came on. Overall, with the customer service and the film starting almost an hour late, I will not be returning to this location. read more

My family can only attend theaters that offer autism/sensory friendly showings due to our son that has non-verbal autism. This theater and the corporation is one of the worst experiences ever in this regard. They advertised online a screening for Spider-Man as sensory friendly but when we got there no indication of this on the show times, we bought the tickets and no mention of this from ticket sales. The ticket said "No SFR" which was odd so we asked if they could confirm it was a sensory friendly screening and the ticket attendant had no idea and and were directed to customer service, and yes of course they had no idea either! We waited about 5 minutes while they were going back and forth with a manager who also had no idea until finally someone confirmed yes the website was right and had no idea what "No SFR" meant on the ticket. Once we got into the theater we saw nobody running around the aisles, no kids, not a peep, not even anyone squirming. For all intents and purposes due to AMC not knowing how to properly have a Sensory/Autism friendly screening nobody else knows this so naturally we're the odd ones out. Autism is autism and it so happened the first 20 mins he sat captivated with some action and some fidget/sensory toys but eventually vocals comes out and he wants to leave his seat. That was the end of it. We finally asked to speak with a manager (vs talking through a kid at customer service) and the manager was apologetic, understanding, but also the same common thread of confused. My wife was in tears leaving since there's so much autism families cannot do, and there we just a complete lack of care or planning on AMC's part. It would have been 10x better if they just DON'T try to have it both ways and don't bother advertising this. Contacting AMC corporate via Facebook sealed the deal as their response was simply that they would try to do better. Never again! read more

We've gone to this theatre four times to give it a chance and every time it has been horrible. 1. The lines are always ALWAYS long. With only one person working the register. We went on Christmas and the line was basically out the door. Tonight we went to see Doolittle. The only option for the time we wanted was the Dine In theatre. We decided to give it a shot. The chairs were awful. The seats are so close together you feel like a sardine. (Pictured). My chair was constantly being kicked. When we arrived the line was almost out the door again for concessions. I went to guest services to ask if we could just order an icee with the dine in. I was assured that this was an option. So we didn't wait in line and we went straight to our seats. When we hit the button the waitress informed us that the kitchen was "30 minutes to an hour behind" I asked if we could just get an icee and was told "we don't get icees" so an epic fail all the way around. People were constantly talking and walking out due to being upset about the service. We will not be back to this AMC. it's absolutely one of the worst in the DFW area. read more

It's a nice theater but the cinema suites need work. My friends and I paid $17 for the cinema suites and we picked the farthest row from the screen because those were the only seats left. DO NOT SIT IN THE LAST TWO ROWS. The barrier between each of the rows blocks off half of the bottom screen. Instead of sitting comfortably I had to sit up straight in my recliner. When the movie ended I quickly tried the second to last row and the screen was still blocked off. If you're going to watch in the cinema suites, pick the third/middle row. Besides the screen fiasco, service was good, there's a bar, and food is decent. If AMC just lifted the screen a couple of feet then everyone in the cinema suites theater would be able to see the screen. Peeved about not being able to see my movie, but I can't deny that this is a nice theater. read more

Drove 40 minutes to see DUNE in IMAX at this theater specifically because since it was a 3 hour movie the whole "dine-in" idea made sense. Only to find once we got there that only half the auditoriums are dine-in. Not the IMAX. Also the drink machines were out of most flavors. Lobby was dirty and my "dinner" of popcorn and an unsweetened iced tea was more than the price of the premium ticket prices for IMAX. Never going out of my way to go there again. We went to the mall and decided to go to AMC for the first time. I usually ho to AMC at Stonebriar. The theatre was seats were uncomfortable and not reclining as advertised and there was no one to take order. I went to the concession's and bought the expensive food snd drinks like do many other movie goers. When I asked fir a cup for water, i was denied saying they do not do that anymore but the the worst part was the employee telling other employees that customers get drinks instead of water and the other employee responded" do they do that" very audible to everyone in line to purchase. AMC movie goers spend hundreds of dollars for tickets and concessions, stop this spreading of negativity about customers because of whom you are able to survive. Right now it is only due to one employee, stop this spreading to your other employees. read more

TLDR: This theater is a weird attempt at a dine in theater that seems about 10 years out of date. I would recommend Moviehouse and Eatery for basically the same price and a much better experience! Only go here if you have to. To be fair I have never had the food here, I am merely judging based on my moviegoing experience, and it isn't a great look. I have had one or two good servers that understand how to serve in a dine in theater and I have had some that look so out of place. Certain servers seem to be unaware that there is a movie going on while they are working: They stood in front of me and others while the movie was going on when taking orders, dropping off food, dropping off checks, etc. they made no attempt to squat or avoid blocking the screen, they didn't hush their voices even during the movie. While aren't huge deal breakers, I never have had this experience at moviehouse and eatery. The service is overall subpar. The quality of seats varies dramatically from theater to theater in this place. Some theaters have reclining seats that are decently comfortable, whereas others have stiff deteriorating leather seats (see pic). The leather seats are super creaky and I found them rather uncomfortable. The food tray that slides out seems like it's about 20 years old, they are super stiff and barely slide out. The unfortunate part is that the website doesn't advertise which theater you will be getting when you buy your tickets. The popcorn is mediocre at best which, while not a huge deal, doesn't help them out at all. read more
