Both were okay -- fresh, toasted, and crispy (maybe a little too toasted). The croissant was huge, which was a nice surprise, but it wasn't buttered, which I definitely prefer. I also wish they had more bagel options available when I went, and I'm personally not a fan of applying my own cream cheese -- part of the bagel experience for me is having it done for you. It also seems like the only add-on option now is cream cheese, which is a little disappointing if you're hoping for a full sandwich or variety. On the plus side, there's parking right outside, which is always appreciated. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, just not great either. The restaurant has a display of international guitar-like instruments and it turns out the owner plays all of them. I asked if he played and, when he had some time, he came over and played for us. Such a friendly place and very pretty, but the important thing is that the food was excellent and not crazy expensive. When we are in the area we definitely will return.
