The pizza here is extremely sub par and does not at all taste like NY pizza. It also ALWAYS comes completely burnt to BLACK on the bottom which tastes awful! The cheese does not want to stay on the pizza either which makes the experience of eating it even more dreadful. Also, anything garlic (aka garlic knots/bread.. etc) has FAR too much garlic on it to be enjoyable and they only have about 1/3 of the desserts they advertise on their online menu. The only good thing I can say is fast delivery and nice delivery people. Therefore, if I were looking for GOOD pizza I'd go to either Shelter Island pizza which is still not like NY pizza but better or to the city for some REAL NY pizza. One of the benefits of this pandemic is that it's socially acceptable to scarf down pizza in your car to avoid other humans. The sausage and peppers slice is crispy and delicious. The plain Sicilian slice is doughy and cheesy. This is a solid pizza place. The staff are very sweet and fun, which a lot of places don't manage to do right now. The only drawback is that I've been eating healthier and two slices was way too much for me right now. So--bonus!--this meal wound up being two for the price of one. read more

Tale of the tape: Garlic Knots These are on the large side, big enough to make a slider from if you are of the mind to do so . . . Unfortunately, the garlic flavor is light at best. The dough texture is medium, slightly chewy but not to distraction. Meatball Lasagna Slice Thinly sliced meatball and meatball crumbles with dollops of ricotta with mozzerella cheese and a savory marinara sauce. It would have been better with a bit more meatball, but what really stood out was the savory sauce - very good! Overpriced entrees from counter service, and still (like all the Hamptons) there seems to be the tiresome expectation of a tip (with suggestion of 20%) paid before you even see food or service. You get your own napkins, plastic cutlery, and if your data plan works you can see an online menu with prices before you order. But if not, counter staff will give you a low ballpark estimate when you order of what an entree costs. Usually the entrees have been pretty decent here in the past, and servings generous-- taking some of the sting out of their pricing. Tonight, no. Smaller plate of veggies of uneven temperature from nominally warm to still cold from the fridge. So the "mixed" vegetables are mixed by temperature as well, apparently. The chicken Marsala, however, was good. Too bad they don't have the service comportment follow through to match the quality of the Marsala. They quickly set all problems right--but why are they not set up to anticipate actually pretty modest customer expectations. Like many simpler eatery restaurants in Hamptons, the expectation is normal to pay a lot for simple dishes, but the service is often at best perfunctory. I never get the feeling, of "thank you for choosing us." You might as well pay a little more find a place to properly dine. read more

My husband and I love the food here! We've tried a bunch of the different things- specialty slices, soups, calzones, wraps.... Literally everything is delicious! Don't order delivery! This was my only experience with this place. It took an hour & a half to get our food, everything we ordered was wrong & cold and they even forgot the dessert we ordered. Even though the food was cold, it tasted good, so that's why it earned more than one star. Maybe I would have a different experience if I ate at the restaurant. At least I'd have the chance to send my wrong order back. Though, I doubt the next time I go to to Sag Harbor I'll give it another try. But, you never know! There does not seem to be anyone in charge of cleaning up where the customers sit. Tables floor ledges all very dirty. One star for cleanliness or lack of, and three stars for food. Been here several time over the years. Always above average. However, about 3 weeks ago, I walked in and bought 4 slices on a late Saturday afternoon. Hate to say it, but terrible. No flavor. Just looking at it, I could see the slices were from 2 pies. Reheated, leftovers. I may try once more with a full pie. If same results, I am a former customer. My advice guys. First the positive: The pizza here is pretty decent. Sort of a mash-up between classic NY Slice style (crispy but not greasy crust) and New England Greek Pizzeria style (heavy layer of cheese). Tasty. Also had an order of meatballs that were better than average in a tangy sauce. Unfortunately these positives are heavily outweighed by the incompetence and lack of care from all who work here. I placed a phone order for pick-up and was told the order would be ready 30 minutes form then (5:05 pm, on a Tuesday in August). Given that August is likely their busiest time of the year I showed up at 5:35 fully expecting to have to wait for a bit for my order to be ready. I checked in and paid as soon as I arrived and was told "a few more minutes" which seemed reasonable. As the time ticked past the 20 minute mark (a full 50 minutes since I placed my order) I politely asked the young lady after my order and she let me know "a few more minutes". This back-and-forth repeated itself twice more over the next 30 minutes until finally my patience broke and I sternly asked her what the deal was; it turned out my order was there all along she just had not looked for it. Without a hint of apology she handed my my now warm-adjacent pizza. Frankly I was embarrassed she was not embarrassed. But, life goes on, I walked out the door an hour and twenty minutes after I placed my order with a pizza and the kids eventually got fed. However the lack of pride in what one does and a desire to do the best given the circumstances always baffles me. I've worked in the service industry and I get it that mistakes can and will happen but I also found that a genuine "I'm SO sorry" (and maybe a free drink when i really eff'ed up) would often turn a poor customer service situation into a happy memory. This was the opposite of that. This is a transient town with lots of summer people and tourists so I am sure their lack of care will not affect the bottom line but when you lack pride in what you do you lack pride in yourself and that is just sad to see. read more

I gave this place a great rating in the past and it took one bad employee and one bad night of just ignorant service to change my mind and never order from here again. How stupid does a person have to be to cook a pizza and, hey everyone you know that little white pizza table that you see when opening the box. Imagine craving your pizza and other orders which isn't cheap (90$ to be exact) only to see that the person who cooked the pizza decided to, ya know...try something new. Maybe they do this in Germany or something but the table is upside down. Anyone else ever see that before? I immediately lost faith in humanity for the last time. That table goes only one way. Upright. Not smashed into the pizza middle so when I pull it out I see a moon of dough. Just avoid this place. It's full of idiots. Like Steve A. Who thinks that saying his boss is right next to him lying like a child is going to help him if his boss does see this review. Because if it was me. I would be fired. HORRIBLE SERVICE! The ONLY reason this place has a business in Bridgehampton is because they deliver (tho they don't do that very well - they routinely take twice the time they quote to arrive and once I had a delivery guy come and get the pie out of the back seat of his car where his DOG was sitting. Routinely things are under cooked (desserts often FROZEN) and items such as sauces are forgotten. DO yourself a favor and order from Pizza Palace across the street or World Pie in the village and just go pick it up. read more

Stopped in here while waiting on some friends who were out celebrating a birthday dinner. (Designated driver was I) I had two slices of the chicken, bacon and ranch. I asked for it not too hot and it came out exactly the way I asked. The slices were quite tasty and completely filling. I probably should have only ordered one slice, but I know me and my eyes are ALWAYS bigger than my stomach. (Damn, I must have huge eyes based on the looks of my stomach - lol) Anyway, the food was good, the staff pleasant, and there is plenty of parking. I love this place. This is one of my go-to spots to get their pepperoni rolls. If they don't have any they always offer to make me one. I came here a lot over the summer and it's just one of those places where you can count on them to make what you like and make it consistently awesome. Did I mention they deliver?
