I expect better and high quality for a restaurant in this area of West Hampton especially for Italian food. I had the penne alla vodka and I thought that it was decent but the flavoring was a little weak for vodka sauce and bland I felt. I got bored of eating my meal about half way through. My friend Jack said nothing stood out to him, he also got the vodka pasta. My friend Josh got the Cesar salad with grilled chicken. He thought it was a very tasty salad, good salad dressing and portions, but the croutons were a little burnt, he said. My friend Thomas got the chicken parm for dinner, he said the cheese was very fresh as well as the sauce but the chicken was a little tough. My friend James got the veal Parmesan, he thought it was really good. My friend got the veal piccata he said it was great. My friend Curbs consumed his veal piccata really fast because of how delicious it was to him. My friend Alex got the chicken francese but it took him a while to get it, it was mid for the price but it was good. Overall almost everyone thought the food was decently good. Service: The service was decently fast for everyone except for my food which was a little slower than the rest which was the penne alla vodka and also my friend Alex's food which was the chicken francese. Ambience: quiet warm ambience outside with heaters on a nice windy noon. Nice chill location near a decently busy road.

The parking lot was full but the restaurant was only at half capacity. The crowd broke a bit geriatric at 6:30 in the offseason. We were started off with tasty garlic knots and bruschetta. We drank a perfectly fine carafe of the house Chianti. Four of us split a very good large chopped salad. 3 of us had pasta. My friend and I shared pastas. One was a really good orecchiette with sausages and broccoli rabe. We tried bucatini with clams, pesto, olive oil and garlic. It's an unusual combination. It grew on us over the course of the meal. My wife ordered a frankenpasta by adding an ingredient or two to something on the menu. My buddy barely put a dent in his veal parmigiana. Portions were really big. Our experience shows that restaurants deserve a second chance. We will put Baby Moon into our rotation.

The decor is classic pizzeria with painted scenes of Italy on the walls and Italian adjacent music playing. It's uber casual- the diners were clad in shorts and t shirts with some multigenerational families and a stream of regulars. The staff were nice. Our waitress was very earnest. This is the most inexpensive area restaurant that we have eaten in so far. Beers were $5 or $6. We were started off with a couple of delicious, freshly baked rolls. My wife ordered a garden salad that easily could have fed two. I had the pasta special. For $20, it included a small garden salad, an enormous serving of excellent linguine with white clam sauce and a delicious small cannoli. This place is the perfect antidote to expensive, pretentious restaurants. We expect to be regulars.

This place has been here for so many decades, it almost feels like stepping back in time with the big wooden booths and pastry counter. It's giving old school diner. When you walk in you'll notice the bakery portion of the store to your right, where you can order any freshly baked breads, pastries, cookies and the like. Straight back is where you go to place food and coffee orders. You place your order on a kiosk. Options include a variety of egg dishes, omelets and frittatas, as well as waffles, pancakes and avocado toast. There's a full coffee bar as well with iced coffees, lattes and other espresso drinks to choose from. We went with a bunch of iced coffees, a "build your own" omelet, breakfast burrito and mushroom omelet. Despite the crazy line here on a Saturday afternoon our food came out very quickly. Coffees took another 20 minutes or so until we were able to ask someone about it (we felt bad, they were so busy), and they handed them over to us. The food here was good and fresh, but also very no frills and portions are small. The prices here are so high though that when we were walking by Donahue's on our way out we realized we could've had a fancy brunch there for just about the same price as we paid for a few small dishes.

I savored every bite of apple crispness as it melted in my mouth. The powder in the outside of the turnover was a little messy but it made it a fun eating experience. The hot chocolate was perfect for an early June morning alongside my turnover, I loved it. With whipped cream it made my day. I loved this place I highly recommend, underrated spot!
