The parking lot was full but the restaurant was only at half capacity. The crowd broke a bit geriatric at 6:30 in the offseason. We were started off with tasty garlic knots and bruschetta. We drank a perfectly fine carafe of the house Chianti. Four of us split a very good large chopped salad. 3 of us had pasta. My friend and I shared pastas. One was a really good orecchiette with sausages and broccoli rabe. We tried bucatini with clams, pesto, olive oil and garlic. It's an unusual combination. It grew on us over the course of the meal. My wife ordered a frankenpasta by adding an ingredient or two to something on the menu. My buddy barely put a dent in his veal parmigiana. Portions were really big. Our experience shows that restaurants deserve a second chance. We will put Baby Moon into our rotation.

I expect better and high quality for a restaurant in this area of West Hampton especially for Italian food. I had the penne alla vodka and I thought that it was decent but the flavoring was a little weak for vodka sauce and bland I felt. I got bored of eating my meal about half way through. My friend Jack said nothing stood out to him, he also got the vodka pasta. My friend Josh got the Cesar salad with grilled chicken. He thought it was a very tasty salad, good salad dressing and portions, but the croutons were a little burnt, he said. My friend Thomas got the chicken parm for dinner, he said the cheese was very fresh as well as the sauce but the chicken was a little tough. My friend James got the veal Parmesan, he thought it was really good. My friend got the veal piccata he said it was great. My friend Curbs consumed his veal piccata really fast because of how delicious it was to him. My friend Alex got the chicken francese but it took him a while to get it, it was mid for the price but it was good. Overall almost everyone thought the food was decently good. Service: The service was decently fast for everyone except for my food which was a little slower than the rest which was the penne alla vodka and also my friend Alex's food which was the chicken francese. Ambience: quiet warm ambience outside with heaters on a nice windy noon. Nice chill location near a decently busy road.

We came during Restaurant Week, but unfortunately it ended at 7pm and our reservation was after that, which was disappointing. Since it was already late, we decided to stay and dine anyway. We started with the kale Caesar, which was very nice. The salmon came out piping hot, surprisingly impressive. The duck had good flavor but could've been a bit crispier. Overall, a nice spot with a lovely atmosphere.

The bartender greeted us and was nice enough to ask two girls who had just walked in to move down a seat so that we could all sit together. I had my heart set on an Aperol spritz initially (basic, I know), but the strawberry cosmo made with fresh strawberry puree spoke to me, and was honestly the right choice. Not too sweet, not too sour, perfectly made. The price tag hurt but hey, it's the Hamptons. Our bartender was friendly and accommodating, we had a nice chat with her about an old school cocktail called an aviation. The person next to us ordered their linguini with local clams dish and it smelled fantastic. Will definitely be back to try out the food.

Our server came over and told us that two of the items on the chalkboard - including one we had planned to order - had been sold out already. This was at 6 pm on a weekend night. So we went back to looking at the menu. Within seconds, our server showed up again - the steak had been 86ed. We went back to looking at the menu. Our server returned to our table a couple of minutes later and told us how he liked to rank the restaurant's dishes, then telling us about his top three in minute detail. We were pretty sure what we wanted at this point. But our server came back one more time to tell us that the salad from the specials menu - again, a dish we planned to order - was gone. At this point I began to wonder if we would be allowed to pick our own food for the meal. Anyway, we settled on another dish and beckoned our server over for his fourth (and first invited) visit to our table. We ordered. The food came in a reasonable amount of time. The pasta and pizza were good, the salad dressed with something a bit too acidic. We ate, paid, and left, still somewhat in disbelief. Maybe if this place had fewer items on the menu, they'd be able to stock more ingredients for each one. As things stand, it's a rather frustrating venue (albeit one with a clearly devoted following). P.S. The noise level in the restaurant is high - we were practically shouting to hear each other at various points during our dinner.

As a busser at The Patio, Christian transcends the expectations of his role with a level of diligence, awareness, and professionalism that is nothing short of extraordinary. He does not merely clear tables -- he orchestrates the dining room with the precision of a seasoned conductor, ensuring every surface is immaculate, every transition seamless, and every guest experience elevated. Christian possesses an almost preternatural sense of timing. Tables are reset before one even realizes they need attention, and the flow of service is noticeably smoother whenever he is on the floor. His work ethic is relentless yet graceful, efficient yet thoughtful -- the kind that silently holds an entire operation together. What truly distinguishes Christian, however, is his presence. He approaches his responsibilities with humility, poise, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. He supports servers proactively, anticipates needs without being asked, and maintains a calm, professional demeanor even during the most demanding rushes. The dining room feels more polished, more organized, and more welcoming because of him. It is rare to encounter someone who treats their position not as a task, but as a craft. Christian Brown exemplifies what hospitality should look like at its highest level. Any restaurant would be fortunate to have him; The Patio is elevated simply by his presence. In short: Christian is not just one of the best bussers I have ever seen -- he is one of the finest hospitality professionals in the industry.

It has a nice vibe and is not too crowded if you sit at a table. The night we went, the bar was packed so I am glad we were given the option of a table or booth. Once we were settled in the booth, water arrived at the table and our drink orders were taken by our waitress who was very nice and personable. My brother got a beer and I decided on the Edgewater espresso martini, which was really good. We placed our happy hour food choices when she returned-my brother opted for the wings and I got the shrimp and ,mushroom risotto. The food arrived quickly and was hot. Both our meals were delicious. The risotto was covered with shaved parmesan cheese and was very tasty. I would recommend and will be returning.

Came here on a Thursday night and was able to grab two seats at the bar. I started off with a cosmo which was made perfectly, served in an insulated martini glass to keep it nice and cold. For starters we had the charbroiled oysters which were unlike any oyster dish I've ever had. Topped with garlic, parmesan and sriracha, the sauce that comes off of these bad boys gets soaked up with the focaccia its served with. Honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten. We also had fried calamari which was solid. For mains, I had the veal Milanese which was perfectly cooked. Crispy, topped with fresh tomatoes and arugula plus shaved parmesan. My brother had the lobster pasta which I tried and was out of this world. The shitake mushrooms in this dish really add a depth of flavor you don't normally find in a lobster pasta. I haven't stopped thinking about those oysters and will absolutely be back. Everything in the Hamptons is expensive, but this place is where you want to spend your money.
