I don't know what's up with American Pizza Co in Highland. The first time I ordered from them, the pizza was great, but the employees weren't following COVID guidelines. The 2nd time, I had it delivered. Delivery guy followed guidelines, but it arrived 45 minutes late. I believe I ordered at 5:30 and I received it at 7pm. The 3rd time was a couple of weeks ago. This was my first try at American Pizza Company. My former eating establishment was the Papa guy and that proved quite disappointing as of late. I set up an account which was fairly easy to do and ordered my first American Pie!! I want to tell you that this establishment makes a very good pizza, the Patriot was simply tasty. As I have only had one, I don't think I can say great yet, but it might be looking that way. The medium pizza was well decked out with all the goodies and the list of ingredients was extensive. I ordered spaghetti, chicken strips, and toasted ravioli. The chicken was dry and slightly burnt. The ravioli was dry as well. The sauce on the spaghetti was very thick and slightly sweet. Good pizza and service, the only problem I have are the employees not wearing the proper attire while preparing pizza or any dish in that matter, many times while picking up my order I noticed they were not wearing a hair net or any sort of coverage over their face or hair and employees constantly walking around in the area where pizza was being made without any sort of coverage. Has been our go to pizza place for a couple years but we were all very disappointed with our latest pizzas (first time we were unhappy here). We work for a very large local employer and ordered several pizzas. It seems that they changed their cheese to some kind of creamy mozzarella which is not good at all for a pizza. Their pizza was perfect before, so not sure why they changed. We are all very sad and hope they will go back to the original cheese. Stopped by the American pizza co yesterday since I've had over 10 people recommend that I try it. It was VERY busy around 6 o'clock, but they did their best to accommodate our walk-in order. I'd say it took about 30 minutes or so. We ordered 2 pies, hot wings, and an order of their cinnamon sticks (my friends fave). I don't see why people say it takes forever to get your food; that was most certainly not the case with us. All in all, I'd give our experience a solid 10/10. I love this place! It's far better than all the chain pizza delivery places. They have been in business for a long time and the only way they could get better is to open a restaurant and serve beer. They're dough and sauce recipes are excellent, and that is what makes a pizza good or bad because most of the toppings taste the same at all pizza places. You can't beat the quality of the pizza and the pricing is great. I think the biggest compliment I can give them is that they are one of the few places that still use real Canadian Bacon. Most other chain pizzas give you cheap cuts of ham when you order a Canadian Bacon and pineapple. Highly recommend this place. By the way, salads, sides, and pasta are also good here. read more

The onions and peppers I added to my sandwich were diced, not sliced, and raw. The sauce, what little there was of it, was bland. The cheese was on the bottom and made the bottom bread soggy. GREAT PRICE GREAT TOPPINGS, and it brings me back to a new york type of feel where the guys are chill and not a**holes but to the point. 11/20/2020 I ordered pizza as usual online, website gave me issue. I couldn't even redeem my online coupon, had to start my order twice. I didn't received what I ordered so I called immediately. The first employee who answered apologized for the mistake and admitted to having glitches, he asked me to hold on the line while he got his manager on the phone. The manager was rude, he asked me if I had placed the order myself, I said yes to what he replied then it was my mistake and he couldn't do anything about my it. I explained to him that the computer system wasn't working. He asked me what I ordered I explained to him that I've never had an issue before and I always ordered the same 3 pizzas. He began yelling at me and saying it was my mistake if I received the wrong pizzas then I was to blame for it. I asked him where was his customer service and why was he yelling at me the customer. He replied he would have customer service if I'd stop arguing with him. I told him that it was obvious he had no experience as a manager because a manager is trained to talk to customer politely and not yell at the customer and have the ability to defuse a situation. I told him again that the website wasn't working and not even my coupon work, that I didn't want the pizza. I've been buying their pizza for many years, never been so rudely spoken to or yelled at for that matter for website glitches on their own system. Very disappointed in the way their so cal manager handled the situation. Business owner should better train their managers. read more
