This is probably the worst experience I have ever had with a company…read more After dropping $28K (non-insurable damage) on remediation and reconstruction, my takeaway is that I should have listened to the constant red flags throughout the month-long process and just switched to a different contractor. You assume high dollar means high quality; throw the assumption out the window - apparently you can hire anybody off the street to do this work. First, before I could even sign a contract and pay a deposit, the remediation crew came unexpectedly knocking at my door to start work at 9am - the problem is that this was also BEFORE ASBESTOS TESTING. Servpro could have seriously endangered my house, my family, and their crew with mesothelioma due to incompetence - THIS IS INEXCUSABLE! Once the contract commenced, the remediation should have taken two days, but dragged on and on over three weeks due to laziness, being "too hot" (in spring), and I kid you not, being scared. Why these people signed up to do construction work if they are scared is beyond me, but the last thing you want to hear is that a $28K crew is "too scared" to complete a job. Every time the crew pretended to be finished, I had to expose myself to the damaged area to check over their work, point out the problems and get yelled at by office staff, and have the project manager come verify that low and behold, the client is not lying. In total the PM was at my home 5 times to ensure that the 22 line items in our contract were completed. Near the end of this process we uncovered an additional area with damage that needed an addendum, which does make getting quotes difficult if the initial estimate is not thorough. This additional work required two different remediation crews to complete since the office started catching on that the first crew was going to take too long. Luckily the reconstruction crew was completely different (a subcontractor) that actually did the job right the first time. They got their tasks knocked out over two days - and did it correctly without incident. Unfortunately for my timing, this all happened as the company exchanged franchisee owners, so everything will just be ignored as "old ownership problems", but the feedback here is not on ownership, but with the ethos of how this location can get by doing the bare minimum while charging top dollar; all with no accountability. So that made my moving from 2-3 days to a week! Rusty promised that he will personally move some of my things to my new place but instead I had to go and pick up the boxes myself and take them to my new place myself as well! They did a horrible job at cleaning my things. Lost some of my things during the moving. And did not do a thorough job with checking everything and making sure they took everything. I had things in my bathroom medicine cabinet which I lost because they didn't take those and I just recently remembered about it. I had two plants that were gift to me by my sister so were very precious to me. I personally told them to take it out of the building since I can't go in there myself to get it due to safety reason but they didn't! When they moved things back in my apartment they forgot parts of my furniture that they had to go back to storage to get it. Lost some screws that they had to go to home depot to buy it. So they pretty much wasted more time and my insurance had to pay them for those hours too! I am so pissed!! They were supposed to pay for some of the things I remembered about that they lost in the process of moving. They had me sign a settlement paper on it that I can't even get money for the things I had in my medicine cabinet! They said they sent out a check two weeks ago and I still haven't received it. I emailed the woman from accounting team and she didn't respond to my email. Then I called her yesterday morning regarding it, she said she will call me back after checking on it, but she didn't! What kinda bullshit service is this! I really hope this company goes out of business! They charged my insurance company over 5k but can't even get me $70 check to me on time?!

We weren't home. When I got home, I called the company and their response was that Michael was very busy and that they had called me to let me know he would be early. I really didn't care how busy he was - I assumed a professional would give me a time that would work for both him and me. They had called me five minutes before he arrived at our house. Not much time to rearrange my schedule. Nothing improved from there. After weeks of elapsed time, we finally got two estimates for service - the problem was that the estimates were partially redundant, so we had no idea of our actual costs; i.e. we couldn't just add them together because they covered some of the same things. We received multiple promises to have an estimate we could actually use by certain dates - all dates which passed by. Multiple phone calls had no effect. If you value your time and your sanity, stay away from this business. It's a complete mystery to me how they stay in business because they don't seem to want to work. Needless to say, we have taken our business elsewhere.

He recommended three testing companies. We got the testing done and Wes reviewed the report and indicated that the mold levels didn't merit remediation. He explained thoroughly the process and expected value, and helped us decide that the potential gain probably wasn't worth the cost. I actually had him do a site visit (very reasonable trip cost), just to be sure, and it confirmed our decision. Net it out, integrity and ethics. Would be my first call for any job in his category.

Late on a Sunday night, they responded to my Yelp inquiry and Carlos was there within hours. Carlos kept me informed of his eta as he was on another emergency call. He brought all the equipment in and got everything setup for the drying and clean up, taking care to move my dad's furniture. Carlos was very efficient and checked in repeatedly to ensure everything was drying out, also removing baseboards to allow the walls to dry out. Within a few days, everything was dry and Carlos put all the furniture back. When I got the bill, I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price!
