I purchased tires online and made an appointment to install them. When I arrived the clerk ignored me and actually called a man up to the desk that just walked in after I stood there for 10 minutes. I guess I'm invisible. The next clerk call me up, after looking at my tires made sure to mention three times that I really needed the new tires. Duh, that's why I bought them. Then he said my tires weren't there. He gave me a small upgrade but after installed he said they might get sticky in the heat. Why didn't he share this before they were installed? Our car showed low tire. Took it to this local Americas tire shop. After a 3 hr wait they determined the tire is not salvageable. unfortunately they did not have our tire in stock but could order one and have it here next day. They put on our spare and told us they would call the second the tires came it. We waited all day for a call. Of course they didn't call us so we called them around 2:00 pm local time. Told us they can't replace our tire until Saturday. Today is Wednesday! They offered walk-in service but had no idea how long it would take. We didn't have another vehicle so we had no choice but to have to sit at the shop today. Oh yeah to change the tire is another 2 hrs! We wanted them to order the tire to be delivered to our local Americas tire in Rosevillle but they said their system would not allow it. I call BS on the service at this Americas Tire shop. Never again will we use this shop for any tire requirements. We will stick with the 5 star shop in Roseville, Ca. read more

I have bought my tires here since 2010 and have not had any problems until this year. I bought new tires for both of my Camry's this year (over $1,200). As we have 2 children the Camry's are getting too small and we have been looking for a new car that can accommodate the expanding family. I went to America Tire in May and got new tires for my car. I forgot my Americas Tire credit card when I was purchasing my last set of tires (To get the rebate). I was going to ask my wife to bring me my card but the salesman assured me that would not be necessary. He said he could look it up and it was not a problem and told me several times he knew what he was doing and it was no big deal. I gave him my information and he told me to put some minor information to put it on my card. As i was imputing my current salary I became worried and asked him if he knew what he was doing was correct and he reassured we he knew what he was doing. Well to make a long story short he had no idea what he was doing. Instead of charging my card he had signed me up for a new card!!! I had no idea what had happened until several days later when SYNBC called me to tell me congratulations on my new card... stunned I asked them what they where talking about. I had to close the account the incompetent salesman signed me up for, which had serious consequences to me financially. To close the account the incompetent salesman opened cost me 16 points in my FICO credit score taking me from exceptional to very good. I was reassured from the manager (Doug) that it would all be taken care of and my credit score would be repaired... it was not! What was most appalling was I never got a "I'm sorry" or anything form management or anyone. We are know stuck with our current cars as I can't buy a new one because America Tire refused to fix there mistake.... not even an apology... what a joke... should have been fixed and much much more. Not even an apology... p Avoid this this horrible business! Go to Costco! It's not worth it!!! ***Update*** A year later and after America's Tire admitting it was their fault, they did absolutely nothing for me. Well done customer service department! read more

I can't remember if it was the same Justin who just helped me from my review 8 years ago but I called 7 different shops and no one had my tire in stock and I stupidly mixed up 225 and 255 front and rear tires. Justin was the only guy to catch my mistake out of 5+ shops and was able to get me an appointment and a tire that works (245) same day. I'm waiting rn and they are booked for next two days but I guess I got lucky and called at the right time and Justin checked me in over the phone. I ordered a specific set of tires, a week in advance, to be installed a couple of days before driving home to Utah in adverse weather. Went in on my appt day/time to find out that somehow, only 2 had been delivered and the other 2 would not be there before I needed to head home. Doug offered to put any set of tires that I wanted (that he could get in time) on and match the price of the tires I had bought. Well I ended up with an upgrade and they were priority installed the next morning. Mistakes happen, I get that, but it's all about how it's handled afterwards. Booked an 8:30am appointment online to get four new tires for my car. Upon arrival, my expectation was to park my car, wait for someone to check me in, give them my keys to pull in, then leave (booked a drop off appointment). Not what happened. I arrived at about 8:20am, and I was about to park right in front of the garage to make it easier for them to just drive it in. I was about to back park then an employee ran up to my car, greeted me and asked if I had an appointment for 8:30am for four tires. I was a bit confused but said yes. And much to my surprise he said "great! Can you pull into the bay for me?" I'm thinking whaaaaaat! Sweeet, ok! And I did what I was told. BAM! Car was in the garage and the employee advised me to walk in to get checked in. Ok, no biggie. Walked in and standing at ground marker, waiting to be checked in. 30 seconds go by and another friendly employee greeted me and called me over to check me in. That was done and over within 5 mins. He confirmed my phone number and asked if I would be waiting or coming back. Knowing I signed up for a drop off, I told him drop off and that I would be going to home depot while I waited. My dad was meeting me at home depot so we can buy a couple things then go home and he would drop me off later. Before leaving I had the sudden urge to ask how long it would take and he said 25 mins; I was shocked! I was expecting a minimum of an hr or longer (if you can't tell already, I'm a noob when it comes to these things). Anyways, met up with my dad at home depot, walked around, and before we even checked out, BAM! Text message, my car was ready! Everything was so organized, they were professional and they did a really great job with my tires! I was so happy. Overall, EXCELLENT first experience for a tire change. A tire on my "Old" ranch truck needed to be changed and the lug nuts were slightly rusted. He not only wire brushed and lubricated the bolts. He took the time to answer my questions. My experience here has been grade A. I've been a customer for the past three years. Never had an issue. Today however, I pull up to have my tires filled. Standing at the machine is Carlos... he's talking to who appears to be a co-worker, 5 mins pass and I look so as to get his attention. He acknowledges and asks, "what do you need?" I've bought sets of tires over the years from this location. Today was a "screw in the tire" repair without an appointment. Got there at 7:40 a.m. for the 8:00 a.m. opening. They took me right in and got me in the rotation. I had taken the flat tire off my truck and stowed it in the bed. They fixed the tire, put it back on and...put the spare back on the underside of the truck. That was unexpected, they could have easily dropped it back in the bed. America's Tire- I am tired of your shenanigans. Although your lower prices initially lure me in , I find myself disappointed time and time again in your customer service . Each and every time, you talk my wife and I into purchasing your bogus certificate , and then refuse to honor it for one reason or another. For example, your store blamed the alignment on our car for the wear and tear of the tire -even though we just had the car aligned by a reputable mechanic a month prior. On one other occasion, my wife pulled in for a "free " air check , and one of your tire artists tells my wife that we need a new set of tires . At the time, the tires maybe had 5,000 miles on them. The latest example of your dishonesty occurred last week when my wife tried to come in for a "free" tire rotation. We purchased a set of tires from you less than 1 year ago , and have probably put 15,000 miles on them so far. A representative (scam artist ) tells my wife that we need three new tires already. What? I thought these tires came with a manufactures warranty? The shady gentleman at America's tire tells my wife that the manufacture won't honor the warranty , but he can sell us a new set at an incredible savings. Are you kidding me ? You won't honor your certificates, and the manufacturer won't stand behind their product? As consumers -what are we supposed to do ? The way I see it , I have two options: 1. I can purchase a shi**y set of tires from you every year , or 2. I can find a reputable company to purchase tires from -even though it may cost me a little more initially. ** The choice is an easy one to make for us. Two weeks ago I had new tires installed on our Acura TL. It seemed the alignment was off as the car pulled to the right, so we took it to another service provider (See review for company in EDH). After the alignment, the car still pulled to the right. I contact the "other" company in EDH and they said it is probably radial pull. Frustrated why they would not test drive the car, decided to contact Americas Tire Co. where I got the tires to see what they said. The gentleman I spoke with (Benjamin) was professional and offered solutions, I love when solutions are offered! He said come on down and they will likely rotate the tires and may even replace the front to fix the issue entirely. I was on my way anyhow and figured if it is that easy, then I should ask if they had time to put all new tires on my SUV. It was 4:50 pm and they close at 6:00 pm. He said no problem, it would take roughly 45 minutes to get a new set on the SUV and fix up the radial pull on the TL We did, and they executed just and explained over the phone. I cannot say enough about this tire shop and will continue purchasing my tires from this location. Fortunately, I have 40k miles on one and 70k on the other before I have to address new shoes for the family cars. Note: Over the last 10 years, I have purchased several tires mainly from America's Tire Co. and every so often I try another company only to be disappointed. I rolled over some sort of construction bolt it looked like and it was stuck in my tire. Brought it in and Doug the manager was very helpful and accommodating. They were super busy, but told me if I could leave it for a couple of hours, they would look at it free of charge. They removed the bolt and fixed my tire and said no charge when I picked up the car. How awesome is this place??? In a current culture where customer service seems to be diminishing at many businesses, this place has raised the bar on how to exceed customer expectations.
