I went in due to having a piece of metal in my tire. The tow truck driver who changed it said it could most likely be repaired based on what he could see. When I took it to America's Tire they immediately said I had to replace it. Which was fine... better to be safe. Then the kid went around and tested all my tires with some hand held device that he ran over all the tires. He tried to tell me I needed to replace my other rear tire as well. I've only had those tires not even a year! I declined and said to only replace the one. Well low and behold now I have a very slow leak on that tire he recommended I change. No issues before I took it in! I have a feeling they did something to it so I'd have to bring it back. I hate that places try to take advantage of a single woman. read more

Customer service at the desk was good I've been going to Americas tire for over 20 years but the gentleman who installed my tires was very rude. I asked him to install the lug nuts that i brought in that match with my tires and he insisted to put one of the old ones that didn't match match. When I told him that I needed all to look the same he mumbled something to me and walked away. He came back to me and said everything was done, as I proceeded to drive away I got off my truck and saw that all my tires were missing lug nut. I was so mad and frustrated that they would do that. I had to go back and ask him what had happened and as before he just mumbled something that I could not understand. I had a frustrating experience with America's Tire in Indio regarding tire pressure sensors (TPMS) for my fiancé's car. We originally paid for aftermarket sensors and labor, expecting them to work properly. However, the sensors malfunctioned shortly after installation--the dashboard warning light came back on, and the tire pressures couldn't be read. After several visits back and forth, America's Tire told us to buy original sensors from the GMC dealer. We purchased the original parts from GMC, expecting America's Tire to install them for free since the aftermarket sensors they installed didn't work. However, America's Tire installed the new sensors but then refunded us only for the faulty sensors, deducting the labor cost from the refund. So we paid for labor twice! I believe if a shop installs parts that don't work, they should cover the labor to fix the issue--especially when the customer has to go out of their way to buy new parts. This experience was inconvenient, costly, and disappointing. That said, I will still use America's Tire for tires because they have many locations and good insurance options. Just be cautious about upselling and don't expect flawless service on anything beyond tire installation. Summary: America's Tire is fine for tires, but for TPMS or more technical services, consider going elsewhere. read more

About 4 months ago, my "check air pressure" light came on, so I went through the air check station at America's Tire Company in Indio to make sure everything was okay. The attendant told me I had a nail in my tire. Later that day I went down to get it fixed. After waiting 2 1/2 hours, I was told there was nothing wrong with any of my tires. This gets better. On Friday, October 17, I was on my way out of town with my wife and the "check air pressure" light came on again. Better to be safe than sorry, right? The tech told me I had a nail in my tire and the tire was actively leaking air. I asked if he was absolutely sure, and he said that he could see it. On that news, my wife and I had to drive home, repack my wife's car with our suitcases, etc., and got on the road much later than we expected, all based on the recommendation of America's Tire Company. Once I arrived home from the weekend trip, I took my car into America's Tire Shop to get the nail issue fixed. After waiting 3 1/2 hours, I was told there was nothing wrong with any of my tires. I think anyone would be upset in this situation. I asked to talk to the manager, and they basically said "tough luck." I know things happen, and I'm a pretty forgiving person that NEVER asks to talk to a manager, but seriously? No apology? Not even basic courtesy? America's Tire Company really blew it with me. I have been a customer for over 25 years and always very happy with the level of service. They offer top of the line tires at reasonable prices. They are also willing to show you lesser cost tires, but I always elect their recommended tire. Their warranty program has saved us a lot of money over the years. Flats can happen to anyone for a variety of reasons. Still the tire is always covered regardless of how it occurred. They will repair the tire for free if it is repairable, but many are not such as damage to the sidewall. They cheerfully replace it. While you can walk in without an appointment, I recommend get one by signing up on their website because they can get very busy at times. read more

Rip off they get no ratings for me. I went and had my tire fixed my right rear tire and America's tires broke the sensor. I came in and they told me they would fix it but I needed 2 front tires because the tread was so low on them. I paid $340 for the two new front tires, and the sensor. I was leaving and none of the other sensors on my tires were even on. I went back and they told me that if I wanted the sensors to be put back on it was going to cost me $69 a piece. As you can see, only one of the sensors was not working. Now I have no sensors working and I had to see that stupid ( ! ). I give them no rating because they are bad in my book. just because I'm a lady doesn't mean that you have to try and rip me off. read more

Visited on a Saturday to get the air checked on my Yukon. This location had a welcome stand at the entrance to direct vehicles to the proper location. Not sure if this was regular operating procedures or changes as a result of the virus. This employee was wearing a mask and was friendly. The employee directed us to the air check station. The employee who conducted the air check was super cool and did a great job explaining how heat affects tire pressure. He also alerted us to an issue with one of the tires. I am absolutely amazed by the standard of excellence at America's Tires on Highway 111 in Indio. I had what I thought was a nail in my rear tire of my SUV. Drove to dealer as soon as I noticed it after shopping. It was right before 4 p.m. yesterday and the gentleman I spoke to said " sorry but my guys are finishing up for the day and you need a new tire. A patch will not work. He said he would over inflate the tire so I could make it home. Didn't offer to put spare on. Said come back Monday. I called AAA today to put spare on only to find I have no spare. I bought the car new exactly 2 years ago at an H dealership and was always given superb service. AAA said most new cars don't come with a spare these days. A fix it kit ( bottle of seal it ) was under rear matt. AAA used the goop and I drove to America's tires after called to confirm that had my tire. I arrived and was taken care of by Anthony who looked at the tires and came back to tell me that it was a screw not a nail and yes they could patch it. They did so and checked tire pressure in all 4 at NO cost to me. I will never go anywhere else for tire service. A+ to everyone there, especially Anthony Holm. read more

I called them first thing this morning after purchasing my tires online last night to explain to them I had lost my license, and needed help getting tires put on a vehicle I just purchased asap due to them being 12 years old. Not only did they help me out With the identification process, they got me scheduled and taken care of the same day without an appointment being made. We buy all our tires from America's Tire. They have wonderful employees especially at this location. Our daughter had steal showing we sent her over and they found all had steal showing. We originally planned on 2 then 2 more within 2 weeks. They fixed her up with 2 new and 2 loaner tires. Needless to say we were very thankful that hey wanted her to be as safe as we do and put everything else aside. They knew we were going to return on payday but it still means the world to use that they put her safety #1 even before telling us about the condition of the other 2 tires. We always go in and have them check the tire pressure on all of our vehicles every few months also. They stand out in the heat or cold to do this for everyone and a lot of times it doesn't look like what they are doing for our community to keep us rolling is always appreciated at all sometimes. I wonder if we can get everyone that goes in to have the tires aired or checked to tip theses boys. Even just $1 Could you imagine how happy they would be?! They don't expect it... One of my tires had a small leak somewhere (I have run-flat tires so my onboard computer tells me that PSI for one tire is low; I kept inflating this one tire every other day because the PSI kept dropping below the required level). Scheduling an appointment online saves lots of time. It is easy to schedule an appointment if it is at least 24 hours in advance; lots of time slots available. To my surprise, all America's Tire shops fixes flat tires for FREE! The employees at this Indio location are seriously the best in customer service (friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, etc). If I were to start my own business, I would want these employees. I was in and out in 45 minutes after waiting in their waiting room. Cell phone reception is really good here; so I just watching YouTube and Tiktok to pass the time. They text you multiple times to get an update on your car while it is being fix (e.g., "waiting for service" = your car is still in the parking lot, "In the Bay" = employee drove your car into their repair area, "Done" = walk outside where an employees drives your car to you). To address other comments: I never get pressured to buy new tires (as some other comments were saying); I had come from my dealership a week earlier who would tell me which tires need replaced or not replaced; so I know which tires are really bad. As for some comments stating that there were 3 people in line behind him, but they got served faster and were in and out earlier than him: they probably had an appointment! ...or other people's tire problems were easier to fix. These people expect to be helped first saying that they were line longer; well to that I say, I made an appointment 2 days again, so I've been waiting in line for 48 hours, so buzz off. Geez, I just can't stand reading these incompetent people's comments. read more

Thanks for making this as pain-free as possible. Day 1 on vacation our rental car hit a massive nail that went into the sidewall - good times #not. We spoke with with Larry, Jorge, and our tech Anthony. All were super helpful and gave us supreme service. They didn't have the exact same tire in stock so they gave us a temp tire and got the replacement in the same day. We decided to come in the next morning upon store opening to do the swap and they got us started before the store even opened and put on the new replacement tire.
