I waited in the lobby for the rotation to be completed. I really appreciate that America's Tire uses a torque wrench for tightening the lug nuts instead of an impact wrench. Much better for aluminum wheels and makes it easier to remove them if I need to change a flat. Car was finished in about 30 minutes and I was ready to leave. I tipped the mechanic $20. I used to be a good client of this company. I really appreciated their service especially how they would put air in the tires and do free rotations. However the free rotations are extremely limited. I was told that my tires are bald when they are not and that they cannot service my vehicle. Instead they tried to sell me tires when I do not need them yet. My tires are still completely safe to drive on. Don't say that you offer a free service if you don't and are just trying to use it as a way to get customers to pay for tires they don't need. I came into American tire today to have a tire changed that I placed an order for. When I came in everything was fine with my vehicle. Upon leaving my car is doing a jerk and a steer step. I turned back around to request that someone check out the the installation process which I was told your has a jerk and it was doing that really! I received dismissive pushback. Because tires on a car and driving on a highway is something that can be crucial to someone's lives. When the right been let me check for you. That's not what I received. I received dismissive oh it was like that we're sure it was like that BS. Now I have to wait an additional two hours for someone to check the tire properly possibly take it off and put it back on ensuring that the young man who installed it and I do mean Young did it properly. It does not mean that a young person can't change a tire effectively however these are in entry-level positions and wouldn't it just behoove you as management to want to make sure that your client is driving but not American tires Valley on valley central way. I purchased new tires at America's Tire and they installed them a few months ago. I made an appointment to have my tires balanced and check my alignment on Saturday. I arrived at my appointment time of 11:15. I waited 20 minutes before the service writer checked me in. He explained to me how the service would take around 45 minutes. He also said he would let me know if I needed an alignment. I received a text 35 minutes later letting me know my car was ready. I went to a service writer and he had no idea where my keys or my car was. They found my car and told me it was not finished and was next in line to check the alignment. At 1:05 I asked a service writer where my car was. He searched for my keys and had to ask around what was happening with my car. It turned out my car was already finished and the keys were next to the check out computer. I was never given information that my car needed the alignment. I was never given an estimate copy. After paying for the alignment no one helped me to even find where my car was parked. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager told me he was too busy to talk to me. He was extremely rude. I will never go back and will never recommend this America's Tire location to anyone. read more

Rivian's aren't the most straightforward vehicles to work on. With the specialized pucks and having to put the vehicle in the highest suspension setting, I'm somewhat hesitant being the guinea pig at a location. I've had success getting the tire rotation done at the Lake Forest location and just got back from my second rotation, this time at the Orange location. The staff here were wonderful. I arrived about 20 minutes before my 9:15am appointment. Measurements were taken, a soft sell to buy new tires was made (I declined). They told me they'd be ready to service my truck at the appointment time and that it might take 45 min. to wrap it up since they can only do one side at a time. 9:15am came around, I drove the car into a bay and they had me out by 9:35am. I watched as they completed the driver side first, then the passenger side. The correct pucks were used in the right puck locations (vs. attempting to lift by my running boards). Afterwards, they made sure to snap back in place the puck covers and even details the tires quickly. Since I'm already at 4/32, there won't be another tire rotation in the future but I'll be returning to this store to get new tires! read more

They cover a lot for free if you purchase tires from there and even more when you purchase a certificate. I went to America's Tire shop on Chapman/Tustin and was told they couldn't patch the tire... that it would need to be replaced for $285 (I assume because I am a women and they figured I wouldn't know the difference). I felt that the location of the nail should have been fixable so I took it to Allen Tires on Tustin. They said they would be able to repair it and not only did it have one nail but two. They quoted me $50 and I also got an oil change (which I was due for) so I didn't have to go elsewhere for that as well. Within the first 30 minutes they tried to upsell me on buying "their tire air sensors" saying mine won't work. And it would cost me $125/sensor. I bought them for $45/each at another store. I called the place where I bought the air sensors and they again assured me they would work. So I told the salesman, sorry no thanks. Please install these sensors I have. After refusing to buy any "extras", they continue to empty all of the 4 other bays, no other car to work on, and didn't even touch my car and make me wait over 2 more hours to then start putting the tires on. NOT friendly and seemed to NOT CARE about the customer having to wait in the waiting room for a total of 3 hours until my car was done! Unexceptable and will NEVER refer or go here again!!!! read more

I have a Toyota Corolla which I bought in 2022 brand new and of course brand new tires. In 2023, I hit the gutter and one tire was damaged that I needed to replace. So, I went to America's Tire and bought two brand new tires. They gave me a discount and told me "free tire rotation" (wow). BUT FAILED PROMISE. It's been a while that I have not done the tire rotation. So, I made an appointment with America's Tire in 1542 E. Chapman Ave. Orange. When I arrived there, they have only few people in que. The salesman said, he has to inspect the tires and then told me after the inspection that I need to replace the two old tires. But I only have 26,000 miles in my car and I know that my old tires are still good. I know how to test the tire by using a penny. The salesman told me I need to buy two tires so they can make tire rotation. Are you kidding me? I don't need to buy now since my tires are still good. I CANNOT RECOMMEND AMERICA'S TIRE anymore because they failed their promise and they are just after the sales, but not the customer service. I thought they are good in customer service, but they are not really. I just known it today. I am so frustrated and disappointed with the kind of treatment. They are just good if you will buy tires. Highly recommend this America's Tire. I suspected I had nails in two of my tires - and my spidey sense was correct. I trudged down to this location after work on a weekday, expecting Costco-like wait times. I was in and out within an hour or so!!! They removed both nails - and was thankfully able to patch them (Tesla tires $$$). I forgot how efficient other tire places can be.
