Had a flat tire that would not hold air so I called to make an appointment. I do not know much about tires and in all honesty do not know how to put air in my tires. I did not purchase my tires here but America's Tires takes everyone regardless. I really appreciate their customer service and promptness. They really take care of you whether you are buying tires, getting air or having an issue with your tires. In my case, I had what looked like a nail (which turned out to be a blade) stuck in the bed of my tire. They promptly took me in and after 20 minutes they were able to fix my tire. I really appreciate that they do this service and beat of all it's free of charge. I also saw that they have a section where cars line up in order to put air in their tires. I called to get a price on a specific job. I have a dually truck that needed a tire rotation. The only way to rotate these tires is to dismount them from the wheel and reinstall them on the correct wheel since the wheels cannot be moved. They gave me a price over the phone of $88 since I only needed four of the tires switched. I showed up 5 minutes later and $140 was the new price. They didn't want to hear anything else. I told them I was quoted $88 for four tires mounted and dismounted. He said they didn't include the cost to balance them. Whose fault is that? How do you dismount and remount a tire without balancing them? This is not the first time I've had issues with risk place. They have broken several tire pressure sensors and never want to dress up to it when I bring the car back with the tire pressure light on. I won't be coming back. read more

got a nail in my tire. Husband and I Bought last set from them last April. They stated since I have put about 20k miles on that tire, they could not patch it and I would have to Purchase a new one today, they stated if the nail went into the sidewall the warranty would've covered the tire. They stated It is a common thing for teslas however no one else I know has had to Change tires annually. Initially thrilled at how nice they were until my last experience and then today solidified we would not be doing business with them anymore. Very impressed with the service here. My spouse had scheduled an appointment ahead of time. Esme greeted me and helped me quickly. Text updates on the job progress, so I could run errands while waiting. Car was in and out in 45 minutes! Here's the thing that really impressed me: there was one extra thing I needed after the job was done. Friendly service people but the wait is insane even with an appointment. I arrived at 10:38 am for an 11:00 am check-in appointment I had made 3 days prior. It took me till 11:11 am, 33 minutes later in line to be able to check-in and get the car going. I was told that there were 2 people ahead of me for their 10:30 am appointments and that I would be after them. The place was extremely busy and with only 3 techs working it was mayhem. 3 Hours to complete my job !!! Got a flat on my way to an important appointment in LA today. My car felt wobbly and I pulled over immediately. Luckily my closest exit was First Street in Simi Valley (where I knew there was an America's Tire). I've gotten previous tires from America's Tires and pulled in immediately. They confirmed I did, indeed, have a flat (nail in my left rear tire). I needed to replace both rears anyway so I moved forward with replacing both. My previous tires were under warranty but were discontinued however AT employee Esmerelda helped me locate (the same brand) Pirelli tires for my car-- both being in stock!!! Because I had the tire warranty, one of the tires was covered. Esmerelda was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, quick, efficient and kind. I got both my tires replaced (and placed both under warranty again of course) and even added a lifetime warranty to my front tires (just in case). She got me out of there is less than an hour for me to still make my appointment (!!!!). I couldn't recommend America's Tires enough. They are my go to ALWAYS for tires with all my cars. Also, American's Tire is super lucky to have Esmerelda as well. She is a queen. Thank you for everything!!! Edit-- I was writing this during my short wait. Brought in 4 brand new rims. I wanted them to mount my old tires onto the new rims. They managed to damage 3 out of the 4 new rims and told me it was up to the claims department now. So now instead of enjoying my new rims I'm left with damage and have to wait for the claims department to get in touch with me. They were not careful and rushed through the job. I wish they would have taken some extra care knowing that they were brand new. I cannot trust this location or americas tire anymore. After visiting the Costco tire center earlier in the morning, I had a great experience getting a new set of tires here at America's Tire. I was able to make a same day appointment online, and when I arrived I was helped quickly. COVID precautions: everyone is wearing a mask, there are spots marked in the line to maintain social distancing, and there was hand sanitizer available. After installation, my keys were returned to me in a small plastic bag. Service: Friendly and professional. I came in for a new set of tires, but they still let me know the state of each of my tires and how much longer I could get out of each one. They presented me with different options at various price points for my car, and didn't try to oversell me. When you have an appointment, they guarantee installation within an hour of purchase. They also let me know of a mail in rebate that was available for a slightly better quality/pricier set of tires and gave me the info I would need to get my rebate as quickly as possible. I made my purchase on 10/19 and submitted online for the rebate the same day. I received the rebate in the mail 10/28. This is my first purchase from America's Tire but I'd feel comfortable recommending them to friends & family. I'm sure I'll be back the next time I need tires. read more

Per usual, great experience. This was my first visit here since moving to the city. I have usually gone to the one in Oxnard/Camarillo. There's a free car wash giveaway at my work every Friday. The guy who does the job usually checks your car to make sure everything is cool with it. I happen to have won last Friday and he told me I should change my tires. These are the kind of things I never check because I'm too lazy. Got a second opinion from a coworker who confirmed that I did in fact need to change them. I'm going out of town this weekend so I called around to get some quotes. This place happened to have the best offer. I was originally actually going to the location in Camarillo since that's who provided me the quote, but then I found out there's one down the street from where I live so I transferred my appointment to this location instead. Jeff agreed that I would be charged the same amount. Got there before 5 and was greeted by Gustavo. We did the usual walk through. He confirmed I needed all 4 changed. I would normally be annoyed about waiting, but I had a ton of reading to do so it ended up working out that it took them 45 minutes to do the job. It was so busy today. There were a ton of people there, but they handed the flow pretty well. They did promise it would be finished before they close at 6 and they kept the promise. The certificate they sell has now become obsolete for it doesn't cover anything. Save your patience and start to look for another tire store. EVERYBODY! CHECK YOUR TIRE REPAIRS FROM THIS SHOP! I've been to this tire shop a handful of times in the past and have had only good experiences. I came in a few months ago to get 2 tires patched for nails lodged in them. I dropped off the car, got a call about an hour later saying everything was ready, talked to the person at the front counter who said I was good to go, and drove off. Several days passed and I noticed the same nail in the tire was present, so I check the other tire only to see the nail still in that tire too! Completely unacceptable to let a customer drive away like this with no notice. I would understand if the tire is not repairable, but nothing of the sort was communicated to me. This was a safety issue and could have possibly left me stranded on the side of the road. I filled out their post visit survey detailing the incident and no one reached out to me. Drove to America's tire in Simi Valley on first st. Drove in and saw a tire check area. Drove into it and got helped immediately. IAN checked all 4 tires and the spare tire too. He said my tires were perfect and it could be a sensor issue or sensor battery problem if it stays on. After he checked the tire pressure in all the tires, I drove away and the light went off. This is just a warning to double check things and get a second opinion. I went there just to have my tires inflated. After the guy inflated my tires he highly recommended it was time for new tires. I went home and inspected the tires for myself and there was plenty of tread. I thought maybe I missed something so I purchased a tread Guage. All indications were green. 4 months later and a few thousand miles I went to another tire store to have my tires inspected. The guy looked at all 4 and said the tires were in great shape. No issues. UPDATE (March 2018) One of my tires ran over a couple nails and it was beyond patchwork. Patching would have been FREE but It needed to be replaced! My heart and pocketbook felt like sinking. But Shane reminded me that I purchased the CERTIFICATE of REPLACEMENT when I bought my tires. So they were able to replace my 2 year old tire with a BRAND NEW one for less than $20!!! WOW !!! Another reason AMERICA's TIRE Rocks !!! Even though they were very busy today, they took the time to answer every call and handle every customer walking in. You can easily tell that customer service is very important to them. They also took the time to explain the differences between the different levels of tires that I could put on my car. I spent more than what I intended but I am going to get $110 back in rebates. They even took the time to show me how to apply for my rebates on the spot while I was waiting. Update: I received the 2 gift cards!! One for $70 and one for $50 Now I have four new tires that can last up to 90,000 miles each!!!! I also like that they encourage me to come back monthly for a free air inspection and quarterly for tire rotation to get the most miles out of my tires. Update: I have been coming in every mo for their free tire inspections which only take a few minutes even on a Sat (see video). They are very friendly and swift every time. The service was very fast and then they knew I had just arrived to town from TX and I was staying in a hotel and Gus, the manager, was extremely helpful he gave me almost brand new tire at an incredibly discounted price. I almost felt like I was stealing from them because he basically gave me the tire. Someone had just come in with a newer car and it was a brand new tire. I couldn't believe it. I've always loved this place for any tire issue and somehow I always get screws or nails just perfectly in my tires to where they can't be patched and must be replaced so I'm thankful they not only do an amazing job, but the whole crew is so nice and explains everything really well! Today I just had one tire a little low not much but I have anxiety so I stopped by the air fill area and the nice guy checked and filled them all and even had me slowly move so he could check if anything was in my tire but he concluded the weather could have impacted the pressure and to just keep an eye on it and come back if needed! I called to make an appointment to get new tires on my rims. I told the mechanic that I have microfiber towels for him to use to swap out the tires and put in between the crowbar. He refused and said that the plastic cover will do just fine. The service people ended up scratching my entire room as well as dropping tools inside the face of the rim which caused the scratches. read more

4.5 Stars and not 5 stars because it was my 1st time. I had a really good experience with Simi Valley location. It started with a phone call. The person on the phone seemed very professional and understanding using good tone of voice and choice of words. Checked in and was greeted by a young man named Dillon. He seemed thorough and didn't make me feel rushed or just another customer as he looked at my car.l and checked me in. As I waited for my car, another employee came in just to fill me in that they were a few minutes late than planned because of minor technicalities with the caps on my rims. That employee didn't have to do that, but he did. Whether in house policy or not. Car drove smooth as I drove it away. So, I'm guessing they did it right. Overall, I was really glad I opted to get a lifetime service for my balance and rotation because I want to continue giving them my business (only if the their service remains true to what I've mentioned). Also, price was not that much more than Walmart. Only a few dollars. Also, I had to make an appointment with Walmart, but America's Tires in Simi Valley took me in immediately. Good job guys.
