After learning that my tires were cracking and worn down until they were bald, I decided that I needed to get new tires. I talked with my parents before deciding where to go and my dad recommended America's Tires to me. I went to their location, the same day, and talked to Fernando. I told him my budget and he worked with me to get 4 new tires that would last me awhile. I had a great experience! They quoted me a 2 hour wait, but they were done in an hour and thirty. 0 stars if I could! 2 hour wait to get one tire fixed! This place is ridiculous, and they're super rude after they have been making you wait they act like they did nothing wrong. Be honest and up front don't tell me after an hour that it's another 1-2 hours. They could easily have fixed one tire in 20 minutes but no they wanted to be unprofessional and rude, while making me wait to get the one tire fixed. They told me to come back at 6 when they close, yet I show up at 6 and they haven't touched my car, and the car wasn't going to be ready for another 45 minutes! Like what the heck is that about? Is there time the only one that matters? A lot of pissed off people sitting here at the tire shop let me tell you!! read more

This is the worst place. No appt for tire rotation and 1.5hr wait. When I do have an appt it's the same crap same wait. We get farm truck tires all the kids and our 2 personnel vehicles tires here. I bought tires from them and purchased the hazard warranty. I had a tree branch puncture the side wall while I was at the family ranch. Called and was told I only needed yo pay for the warranty on the new tire, they had the tire in stock and were ready at my convenience. Whoever the short guy is with the shaved head has "SMS" Short Man Syndrome. I dropped in to ask a quick question about my tires. The little short guy was in the parking so I tried to talk to him and he brushed me off instantly. He told me to go inside and get in line. I walked into the office and there were 4 people ahead of me, so I sat down to wait patiently. I understood that the wait would have been more than 10 min and the person helping people acknowledge my presence, so sitting down to wait would be the norm. The little short guy with small feet must hate his life and must be on some kind of tire shop power trip, because when he saw me sitting, he advised me to stand up and get inline. I then stood up and walked out! Yep give that short guy a raise! He just lost the business on a 22" set of 4 $1000+ tire sale and possibly more on my other vehicles. Won't do business here ever! I highly recommend the Turlock location for America's Tire. They were fast, courteous and very helpful. They got my car in and out (without an appointment) even though they were clearly busy and about to close up for the night. I had just a horrible experience at the Modesto, Standiford Ave store (see my review) and was just about to give up on this company all together. But, these guys turned that around. They are GREAT! I have ALWAYS had a good exprience at the Tulock location. If you need tires and want to go through America's Tire, go to Turlock. This place is great at what the do had to take my 528i in because I thought that I had something in it due to low air pressure; turns out my rim was cracked. They were nice enough to loan me one till the next day until the new one came in the next day. I brought the car in the next day and they put the tire on the new rim and installed all for free great place. read more

I got my tires changed last week and was told my tire pressure light would turn off after driving around for a bit. It didn't so I came back today as I was told it can be checked/repaired at no cost. After getting checked I was informed that my right front sensor was failing and they could fix it for free. After removing my tire they found some weird goo that people use to repair flat tires and asked me if I or anyone else had put that on my tire since my repair. I told them no one had touched my tires except their staff. I was told I would have to pay for the sensor to be replaced since there was no way anyone there would've put that stuff on my tire. I was so frustrated because I had no idea what that stuff was of how it got there. Steve discounted the part as low as he could but said I had to pay for it since it wasn't technically their mistake. He told me I could speak with another manager when they were on to see about getting refund. I paid for the sensor and went home. I called about 30 minutes later and spoke with Aaron. He explained everything to me and listened to my frustrations. He went ahead and refunded me for the sensor after i explained everything to him. The customer service here is really top notch. I was so frustrated and both Steve and Aaron were polite and understanding. I really appreciate that they took the time to listen to me and find solutions rather than just brushing me off and making me feel like I was being dishonest. I really appreciate their patience with me and making sure I felt satisfied with their service. I'm only giving 3 stars for the minor inconvenience of everything but their customer service is definitely 5 stars. I would return and receive services again now that I know what questions to ask and things to look for should this happen again. read more

Had a flat this morning and the tire got destroyed in the process so I got that and my spare replaced. Price was good, only one problem: one of the tires was the wrong size, which I noticed when I got home and looked at them. I called and was told to bring it back. They got me right in and changed to the correct size. I've had a good experience with A's Tire in the past so I'm not going to hold this mistake against them. I did have to drive 25 miles back to get it fixed however. I think from now on I'm going to inspect before I leave since (roll eyes) it seems to be necessary. read more

This America's Tire location is different than others. I came here twice and both times, they scratched my rims while having work done on my tires. Also I asked for a tire balance for all 4 wheels and it was never done. I recommend going to another location. read more

Once again I love these guys! No charge on tire rotation and no questions asked! They handled it, we have a Les Schwab In Patterson but it's hard to leave this place for all my tire needs. So frustrating! Called the day before and they said they could order my tire and get it the same day! I had to work so I made an appointment for the following day. I left work 21/2 hours early to make my appointment. I get to my appointment for them to tell me my tire isn't in and there not sure when it will be?!! So frustrating!! I also have to recommend to always buy the warranty on tires. They have everything in the system, so if one loses a receipt, it is no problem to look up! I called around to price tires like I normally do, and Americas Tire was the only place that actually talked about the details of the tires and comparable brands. Every other place only gave me a price (a higher price at that) and was not interested in answering questions (including Costco!). I was able to set everything up to have my wife take our Lexus down and have the new tires installed. They treated her very well and she had a great experience there at the shop. We ended up with a set of Yokohamas and the price was the best we had found. I absolutely will buy my tires from Americas Tire in Turlock again! read more

I found out late in the day that my tire had a leak after getting to town. My husband rushed the car to America's tire company not realizing I said American tire depot. He gets there 2 minutes before closing and they still took the car in. Once we realized he was at the wrong tire company and we were prepared to pay for the repair.... they said no worries! It's free! I know for a fact the company I got my tires from would not have done that. I was going to be looking for a new tire care company anyways...And now I've found them! Been coming here for most of my tire needs. Just be aware that some of the guys in there need some additional training. They over torqued my aftermarket lug nuts by about 20 lbs. They also stripped one of them because they didn't seem to realize that with the aftermarket lug nuts comes aftermarket socket specifically for them, which i had told the gentleman about when i payed for the service of mounting my tires/wheels. Good place overall. The only reason i did not complain is because i received those lug nuts free and had 2 extra sets. But good thing i didn't buy them or these 3 starts would be down to one and with a formal complaint to the establishment. read more
