My very first visit to an America's Tire store and it was a pleasant one. Very welcoming and courteous. We were helped almost immediately and told to come back in 35 minutes. My wife had a nail in the sidewall of her tire and is was not repairable. She had purchased the warranty but didn't have the receipt. My salesman was Steven Harris and he took care of it right away. I bought my tires from an America's Best tires in the Bay Area. I got a flat while visiting family. I called, they set up a same day appt. When I got there they greeted me at my car. They were very friendly and professional. I was in and out within a half hour. I was so impressed with their customer service I bought my next set of tires there even though I live 80 miles away! I've since gone in for balancing and rotating and every single time they are great even though on some days they are swamped. read more

Never again. Husband bought four tires. They managed to damage 2 of his rims. Ok. They're usually good about fixing their mistakes but not anymore. Guy said he's gonna order some, should be there in 3-5 business days. Great. No call for over 7 days, call, guy says we got your tires. Umm no, tires are fine, we need the replacement rims. Have to go in there to get the rims ordered. Wait another week. No call. Call in "oh we were just about to call you". Sure buddy. Go in, wrong color rims and fake knockoffs. So again have to ask why didn't you just order OWM rims the first time. "We were too busy" lol ok. Ask if they can just cut a check because obviously these guys can't get it together. Guy goes well corporate can, great what's their number. Goes back into a room, comes back and says, "go buy them yourself and we will pay you back" yeah right. What a joke. Maybe just fix your mistake. Dealing with corporate so far is another run around. Stay tuned. Update. Regional manager was able to fix the situation. Happy now. Not sure if I'd use this location in the future but there are plenty of America's tires around. read more

I was really upset because someone stuck a wire in my tire while I was at work. I drove over to America's and of course they were delightful to work with as always. The wait time was unusually long so I just left my car there, they gave me an estimated time in which it should be ready. Two hours later I went back and they hadn't even touched my car yet. Usually this would've sent me into a spiraling bitch fit but honestly they're always so awesome to deal with, it made me want to just wait out the next thirty minutes patiently. Came here for reasonably priced tires and got more than that. Ended up spending much less than expected and had great service. One of my sensors was broken in the process and the manager (Matt) had no problem fixing it and making sure I was well taken care of. The staff is extremely friendly! I mean I've never seen customer service like the way they handled everything, from the way they answered the phone, to making sure we knew how much longer our car (s) would take. When I came back to have my sensor fixed I had my 6M old Godchild. They have a changing table in the restroom and ensured they'd be as quick as possible. I should have done this review months ago but kept forgetting. I went in with the tire pressure light on. After getting air I asked if the tires could be looked at because the light kept going on then going off. Long story short I needed not 1 but 4 new tires. Glad I went to ATC because it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. They were also in the process of painting but their customer service never wavered because of it. I've been coming here for years. Service is always great, and attendees are always helpful. They do get very busy, I'm local so I drop off my car and usually have my wife takes me for coffee as I wait. Many rude costumers, witnessed many workers and supervisors get yelled at and cussed out. Felt very sorry for them, especially for things they cannot control. The line of people, and the number of cars is a clear sign they are great, but also very very busy. I went in to purchase tires and have them installed. When I went in they handled things quickly and right before closing on a Friday night. A week later I was removing the wheels to access my wheel well when I noticed that one of the lug nuts were seized. I called and made an appointment to have them inspected the next day at the location that did the install. Upon arriving the next day I was greeted by someone nice but had to deal with someone else who told me, before even seeing the vehicle, that America's Tire didn't do anything wrong and that they were not overtightened since they tighten it to factory torque specs. I explained that I didn't think that they were overtightened but cross threaded. He said that if they were cross threaded that they weren't going to do anything about it and I would have to go to a different shop and that I would need to pay for it out of pocket for it. I, being very frustrated at this point, asked them to inspect all four wheels. When they did, I spoke directly to the person that inspected the wheels and they said that the stud that I found was indeed cross threaded and that they found another cross threaded stud on the front driver side wheel. After that the first person I spoke with, begrudgingly, gave me a referral slip to cover the cost of the stud replacement. I went to the appropriate shop and explained the situation. They just laughed, asked for the paperwork, and told me that they would take care of me and I could have my car back in about 4 hours (wait time and labor time). When I picked my car up they notified me that they actually found THREE cross threaded studs. Which means that during the inspection at America's Tire where I was accused of not knowing anything and that it was my fault, where they inspected and found two cross threaded studs from the original install, they then caused a third cross threaded stud in the process. The shop that fixed the studs explained that this is a VERY common issue from this America's Tire and that they have received as many as three cars in a day from them to fix this exact issue. I am sure that by law of small numbers I am the outlier but I had such a poor experience with the people/work performed at this America's Tire (my only experience with the company) that I will never go there again, or any other, and will actively attempt to have others that I know go elsewhere as well. Feel free to go there. Maybe you will be lucky and have a good experience. Maybe you will have two or three of your wheels seized and have to spend a whole Saturday rectifying an issue that should have never happened in the first place. I did quite a bit of research before purchasing new tires for my Acura. America's Tire had the best price for BF Goodrich g-Force sport comp 2's I could find, though they weren't in stock at my local Turlock location. I ordered them online on a Sunday and received a call the next day letting me know that my tires arrived. When it came to installation, they were able to take me a day earlier than my scheduled appointment and I was in-and-out within 45 minutes...pretty impressive for replacing four tires. The crew worked quickly and efficiently and definitely deserve accolades. read more

I walked in 5-10 minutes early. Matt took my keys and said to give it 30-45 minutes. I walked to dollar tree and sherwin williams. By the time I got back my car was in a different space and I believed it to be ready. I walked in, it wasn't. Matt laughed rudely and said he would be suprised if it was done already since it was only there for 25 minutes. I then asked why the car was moved, another person said it was moved by mistake. How do you move a car by mistake? I then waited an additional 10 minutes before I asked for my keys back and left. Matt was very rude and unprofessional. Ordered and made an appointment online 5 days before. 5/12/12 Arriving at 11am for my appointment, was greeted at the parking lot as I got out of the car (I am very impressed). Told him I had an appointment for tire change, and led inside to a write up area. After checking I was informed the tires I ordered were sold to another customer, but they are willing to offer me upgraded tires for the same price as my original. They are offering a set of Yokohama YK580 for the $300, a discount over $100 off their web pricing. I had did some search before coming in and knew the Yokohama's tread life at 580 is substantially higher then my original choice. I gladly accepted the offer. My out the door price remained at $401. While waiting for the tire change at the waiting area, we were standing next to the window watching them changing tires on several cars. The workers are working in teams of two, from dismounting tires, removing, mounting, balancing, they work flawless together getting the tire change in about 10 minutes. The professionalism of the worker there were second to none, everything I can see is very businesslike and serious. I really enjoy watching their attitude towards work, don't usually see that anymore. This is my second time coming in for a set of new tires, and will come back again. read more

Careful about the Turlock Store... They DROPPED my car after using incorrectly placed floor jacks and then refused to pay for a rental while it was repaired. The car was damaged and then their claims adjuster refused to reimburse me for the full cost for a rental car while the car was being repaired. The car was in the shop for 23 days, they told me it should have only taken 4 days to make the repair, so I'm out 19 days of rental. The adjuster told me that I should get the body shop to pay for the extra days. Disgraceful business practice. I'm really sad, and out a lot of money. An update 3 months later..... Just discovered this America's Tire over torqued the wheel lug nuts. I had to have one of them cut off because of their carelessness. Be wary of this particular store. read more

Ever since I was able to drive I have gone to America's Tire Company for my tires no matter where I live, they always have amazing customer service and they never try and cheat you for money. Most recently I bought a car and the tires were terrible, I needed all 4 tires and it was not in my budget to do all 4, so I planned on doing 2 at a time. Steve actually got me an AMAZING price on all 4 tires! Now I can drive my kids around and do my every other week trips out of town and be safe. Great customer service! I have gone to this shop twice now, the first time to have my new tires mounted on new rims, balanced and mounted. The tires and rims were oversized for my 4x4, their was a little rub so they took the splash guards off of my tacoma. The second time to have my tires rotated and spacers installed. They are very friendly, talk with you and perform quality work. If there are any issues they will bring into the garage and show you what the issues and give you a recommendation or ask you how you want to proceed. I see no reason to take my business any where else. read more

Absolutely adore this place!! I live in Washington State and drive to Turlock/Modesto more than frequently. America's Tire is the first place my car goes! I was happy with my old tires from amerias tire, but my Cooper Tires ROCK!! I even had a set installed on my Jeep 4x4 renegade, and my 525i BMW. I drive like i shouldn't have a license..... I depend on these guys to keep my cars on the ground! So I'm standing America's tire and Modesto wishing I was in America's tire in Turlock because America's tire is so precise and accurate and speedy and even if their most busiest day putting in a complete set a tires was twice as faster than these guys repairing a simple flat. By the way The Hankook Kenner G tires and I bought in turlock three months ago are still kicking ass read more

We scheduled it for the next day. I walked in and was greeted by Martin who was really friendly took ccare of me right away.
