I have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata and the tires are pretty new. I did not want to replace it with a tire that was another brand. Checked Costco as they tend to have the best prices. They do not carry it, nor could they get it. So, I contacted America's Tires to get a price quote and how long until it came in. There price was very competitive if not better than other places I called in Modesto. I was told they could have it in 5 days from the date I called. Once I said, "let's do it." It was their in 3. Not only that, they did not make me prepay for the tire. Unheard of. They were extremely pleasant and helpful. But, this is not why they got the five stars. The reason they got the five stars is before I ever even went to them to replace the tire we went by to have them check our sensor that kept going off saying the tires were low on air. They checked the tires and yes they were low. They stopped what they were doing and put air in and said anytime they are low just come by and we will fill them up free of charge. I thought, "ok" nice words, but we will see. And yes, whenever the tire light comes on and we go by they take care of it. And this is before I even bought anything from them. So, several months go by and we get a flat on another tire and take it in to be repaired. They graciously take it in and fix it ------NO CHARGE! And the tire that was flat was not the one we paid to have replaced. Now the five stars are not just based on what I typed, but that the guys here are always so pleasant. I have bought tires for my cars, pickups and trailers here since they opened and have always been very satisfied. Their prices are somewhat negotiable, especially if you find them somewhere else cheaper. My first visit here years ago was to repair a tire that had a nail in it, they fixed it for free and told me to just consider them when I needed new tires. While I'm not sure if that's still their policy, it was enough to earn business and continued good prices and service have kept my business. read more

In one unfortunate week, I got two flats on my van. The first flat, they fixed the tire. The next flat was a nail on the sidewall that was not safe to repair. So they replaced it. For free. Really. My husband took his car to a different shop, where they told him that he needed 4 new tires because they were all bald. I was skeptical and asked him to take the car to America's Tire because they've always been so good to us before. The best tire experience I've ever had. AM Spencer and Manager David are very fair. They truly care about your safety and make sure you get what you need. The staff is meticulous and find small problems in your tires, if they exist. One of the best tire repair shops in town. Just to write this review I had to download the Yelp app which would normally deter me. I called two days in advance and ask for a quote for a rebalance, rotation, and flat repair ($70) made an appointment online which is very simple. Went in today for the appointment it had taken only 40 minutes. To my surprise everything was free! As long as this shop treats their customers like I was, I will always be a customer. I called to check the amount of time to get my tires rotated and I was told everyone had been getting in and out in 45 minutes or less. I drove down to the store and the wait was 1 1/2 hours. I can't imagine they had a great rush of customers on a Wednesday in the 10-15 minutes it took to drive to the store! I believe I was lied to in order for them to get me to the store! I came to replace a tire I got a nail in and patched and didn't feel comfortable driving on cause it was on the edge of the tire. He look and all my tires and said the 2 in the front needed to be changed the tread on the tires were unsafe. I told him I could only afford one tire this month. So for the last couple weeks, my tire has been losing air slowly. Also my tire sensor on another tire went off. I came in this morning without an appointment and they got me in immediately. Within one hour, even though they had other vehicles they were working on, they replaced my tire sensor and removed the screw out of my tire with a slow leak. While they were working on my car, I noticed that everybody in the vehicle bays we're working hard. Those guys are high speed and I appreciate it very much! Very friendly and kind staff of employees. From management down, the customer service is fantastic. Furthermore, they really do try to get you a good deal on your tires. Came in thinking I was going to spend $300-$400 for a new set of tires, rotations, etc.. and left spending less than $200 on the exact tires and service I wanted to get originally. I wasn't even aware of the discount at first, but the manager made me aware even thought it meant the store would make less money on my sale. The service was quick and easy. The technicians who worked on my car gave me and informative run down on what they did, and they were very nice, as well. The tires are great, and run well! THE BEST PLACE TO BUY TIRES . I have been buying tires from here for 10 years now . They don't really know me and I don't really get same person every time but every single time they have an amazing customer service and caring no matter who is helping u . Not much of a person to leave reviews but America's Tires in Turlock definitely deserves it! I went in to get my tires changed and they didn't have all four of the tires I had ordered online. They let me know the issue and then offered to upgrade my tires to better ones at no cost to me! I expected to just get one tire upgraded but nope they upgraded all four tires which was over a $200 difference. This just shows they are definitely there for their customers and not out to just make a profit. The staff were all super nice as well and never talked down to you or used an annoying tone when explaining stuff. I would HIGHLY recommend this store! read more

I just learned businesses can pay for their bad reviews to be removed from yelp, and that yelp also encourages businesses to pay to keep their good reviews. So this update is to be very clear, I do not trust this business. My review that was removed was an update to my initial review. My update was very descriptive and detailed the terrible job they did when installing the centering ring on one of my wheels, that I had just paid $250/wheel (that they first told me they absolutely couldn't get), and about another $1000 of tires on, caused the centering ring to jar loose while driving on the freeway. Luckily I was driving, and not my pregnant wife, who used the car daily for commuting for work through several counties a week. Not all wheels require centering rings, but mine did, and when my steering wheel began violently vibrating in my hands one day on the freeway while driving home, I had to pull over and inspect what the problem was. I couldn't determine the problem as I had not heard of centering rings at that point, so I headed right back to them. After I heard what had been done wrong, I was furious to know that they would be so negligent on something so important and dangerous. I don't need to remind you, my unborn child was being carried along for about two weeks and several hundred miles while my wife drove the car for work before the centering ring jarred loose on me. Either way, I wanted yelp reviewers to be clear that I do not promote for this business, and as a result of their error, they quickly refunded me $500, as well as after scratching one of my wheels when fixing the centering ring issue, gave me that 5th one free and ordered me a new unscratched wheel. I would like to think that it was out of the kindness of their heart, but most likely trying to prevent a call from an attorney. Now I'll be sure to periodically check my review of this place to be sure they haven't paid to remove it...again. read more

We have been going to this store for a very long time and have always been so pleased, however we are very unhappy customers now. We took our Ford F-250 in for tire rotation. My husband is very meticulous about his vehicles and always does a walk around before he goes in to the store. The kid goes and gets the truck and drives it into the bay for tire rotation. Comes back when done and tells my husband your all done. Husband goes to get in his truck and there is a vertices scratch down to the metal on the drivers side passenger door! They wear tool belts and climb in our cars. My husband went back in and told them about it and they said it didn't happen here. I called and told them I was not happy with that. They said we would make a claim. Week later. We get email from claims adjuster saying we find no fault on our part. That insurance adjuster of theirs had us send him pictures and go get an estimate. Why would you have someone go to the trouble of getting an estimate if you had not even reviewed the claim?! Really? I have now turned over to our insurance. The real problem now is that we have three tire warranties at this place and have to take our vehicles back! Well we will do walk around with them and watch the vehicle as it is being worked on. In the future we may pay more for tires, however we will go to Les Schwabs where service is superb. read more

I bought an 1999 civic ex and the tires were really worn down, totally not save for the road. I took it to America's tires Thursday March 6th of 2014 to ask them for a quote for 4 new tires. The price was more than fair, around 50-60$ per tire. They also offered some rims that go with it, but I had pass on those. With installation I paid around 300$, this includes insurance on the tires. And it took only an hour to install. Customer service was superb, exactly as described in other reviews! After handing the keys back over to me, they told me to stop by after 5000 miles and they will rotate the tires for free and whenever the pressure is low they'll pump them up for free. All in all very good experience! They definitely won me as a customer. read more
