I feel really bad because I have been here a few times and never recognized them in a review, this place is the BEST EVER TIRE STORE!! Yesterday I started out late for an appointment and guess what the dreaded low tire pressure light goes crazy, I've never seen it! I jump out and look at the indicated tire, it looked ok but! So I risk it and drive to my appointment, then I go to American Tire out by Costco, they in seconds air up all the tires and confirm the indicated tire was low, we can't see anything in it, after a brief visit inside they tell me they can fix it in an hour or less, I say FANTASTIC! My truck was in a bay in 10 minutes, tire off and broken down in another minute, valve stem replaced by another worker while screw was removed and hole was being patched, tire remounted on it's rim in another five minutes, balanced, then leak tested and handed over to another team member who remounted the tire and torqued the lug nuts!! My truck was in and out in 30 minute and GUESS WHAT??? They did it for FREE!! I didn't buy the tires there, it's a one year old F-150 with perfect original tires! They did it to make me a CUSTOMER FOR LIFE and guess what, it worked, THANK YOU AMERICAN TIRE!! read more

Even though it was a new vehicle and I didn't buy the tires here they still took care of it for free. They were also very quick even with extended wait times due to Covid-19. read more

He talked about selling vs renting his house, didn't want to move out without a house ready and possibility taking out equity on his house and the call went on for a while, while he was supposedly "working"! I am very disappointed with what I had to do to get my tires rotated. It took three trips out of my way to finally get it done. The first time I had ordered a new rim and they took so long to change it out that I had to leave to make it to work on time. Second time after waiting 45 Minutes they decided that the studs holding my caps on were on too tight so they said it couldn't be done. When I got home I noticed they strips the studs! Third time I took the caps off myself and returned. YES ALL THREE TIMES I HAD AN APPOINTMENT. This time I voiced my concern of the time spent on three appointments. Matt at the front desk started to argue with me about why it wasn't there fault. 48 minutes later I finally got my tires rotated and Matt did apologize but it didn't change the experience. read more

I had quite the ordeal trying to get my run flat tires I ordered installed. I set my appointment up for 3/11/19 at 3:30 only to have them strip my wheel lock key on the first wheel so I had to drive all the way to Modesto, buy a new wheel lock key only to have my tires installed the following day. The next day without an appointment it took approximately 2 hours to get it done. Once everything was done, my car TPM notifies me that my tires are not inflated to manufacturers specifications, with one tire in the rear underinflated and one in the front over inflated. And to add insult to injury, I find out one of my OE BMW valve stem caps are missing. I paid good money for the tires I ordered from you guys and never asked for a discount or anything for the trouble, I just wished that you took better care of your customers cars. read more

These guys are fantastic!!! I picked up a piece of metal in a tire this morning getting on the freeway that put a 2 inch gash in the tread of a rear tire. After putting on the spare I dropped in on my local America's Tire store. They pulled the tire off the rim and found a piece of metal about 1in X 2in inside. The manager found a used tire that was a perfect match for the ruined tire. They mounted and balanced it for free!! This is the kind of fantastic service that had kept me with them for more than 20 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else for tires unless there was no other choice. Not to mention, they always have great prices, not the cheapest in town, but the service is well worth a couple of bucks ( and I mean $5 or $10 difference) extra per tire. Kudos!! So I had purchased a tire last year and bought a warranty. There was some miscommunication. I'm gonna go ahead and say it was on my part. But I went in today and wasn't happy because I thought things weren't gonna go my way. The mgr took over and his first words after he got a chance to speak was please relax and let me do this and I think you'll be happy. I'm not gonna get to specifics but he made it right. I even apologized. I still feel bad. I didn't make a big scene but this guy made my day. Very professional by everyone and made it a great day for me. First time customer, and the experience was great! Called in around 9:30 a.m. to get quotes for tires. Turned out to be the best phone I made that day. Aaron (probably spelled his name incorrectly) was great. Gave me price quotes for a few tires and very patient with my questions. Turned out I didn't have to wait for tires, like I would've else where. The shop had my tires in stock. Went after work to purchase and have them put on. I had the chance to meet Aaron in person and he made this process simple to understand. He's very relatable and doesn't give lectures on how bad my tires were. You really can't go wrong here. Straight forward with the customer every time. They're busy for a reason. Great customer service, variety of inventory. I called on a last minute day off. They were able to get me in on a Friday. I showed up early and they got my truck on the rack 20 minutes later. Doesn't always happen that way but they know their business and handle it. Came back to find out they realized they only had 1 of the tires I purchased so they just upgraded both my tires to match the 2 I had. I went from from 87.00 tires to 134.00 tires all for free! I bought tires here over a year and a half ago. I got a nail in the tire and it could not be repaired. The tires I had originally were discontinued and the alternative was much more expensive. They replaced it for free with the better tire! I only had to pay the warranty fee of $39.99. It was a one time deal I'm sure, but they will have my business forever!! I will ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS recommend this place for any tire needs no matter what city you're in. I've been to three different locations and each one was a great experience. I recently brought my car in on my spare because I had three nails in my tire, when they pulled my tire out to look at it, the noticed I had a staple in there too! (Lucky me) they promised they'd do their best to just plug it for me as long as it was safe and told me it would likely take an hour and fifteen minutes since I didn't have an appointment and they were short staffed. Less than an hour later, my car was done. They weren't able to save my tire but actual had one that some one else had replaced on their vehicle that had no damage and the same tread wear as the rest of my tires. They through it on there for free, reattached my spare and sent me on my way. The staff at America's Tires is hands down, the BEST. They will NEVER push you into making a purchase you don't absolutely need and are always completely honest and friendly. I will always bring my vehicles here and always recommend them. I had a very short wait time before they were ready to install 4 new tires on my Silverado pickup. Everyone was friendly & efficient. When the job was 1/2 completed, a young man let me know approximately how long until the job would be completed. During these times of the pandemic, you drive your own vehicle in & out. I was pleased that the young man helped guide me out. When I arrived home, I noticed that weights had been placed on the outside rim of the 20" chrome wheels instead of the inside & the chrome valve stem caps had been replaced with tiny cheap plastic ones. This a. m. I called & the manager said the balance is better this way, but they would rebalance them if I wanted & give me new chrome caps. I told him that could wait & I had ordered some great valve caps. I have always thought of that business as being great & they certainly lived up to my expectations. I have used this location many, many times over the years and I will no longer bring my business to them after my tires are replaced. The time waits are ridiculous and the management organizational skills for their crew seems to have e been lost. I needed a screw pulled from my vehicle tire and was told it would be about a forty-five minute wait. After completing the paperwork the invoice was folded, place into an envelope and then handed to me. After almost two hours I was still waiting and asked about the estimated time before getting to my vehicle. I was told it would be at least another hour. I was then told the estimated time was printed on my invoice. Granted the invoice was folded, stuffed into an envelope without even showing or reviewing it with me. Three hours to plug a tire is ridiculous, especially since there were many crew members singing, dancing and simply standing around doing nothing in direct sight of waiting customers. It took me 15 minutes to drive down the road to Harbor Freight Tools, buy a plug kit, repair the hole and drive back to America's Tire and have them put air in the tires. Then off I went to finish my errands. It takes five e years to build a loyal customer and just five minutes to lose one. America's Tire has lost me. read more

I've bought countless tires from Americas Tire. No nonsense, I don't believe they do suspension, brakes, or anything other than tires. This could be a viewed as a negative, but they specialize in something and they do it well. I haven't priced every tire store in Turlock, but I always found the prices reasonable. The warranty is great, and the service is top notch. It can have a long wait sometimes, but I think when a place of business is busy that's a good sign. Good place, recommended. read more

The guy on the phone assured me he would be able to get me in without an appt, awesome! I came in and there was a long long ... which is expected during this time. He said very rudely "duh cuz those others made appts" and I said to him how is that possible if they were behind me and I heard them make their appointment? He had a stupid look on his face and I said can I speak to your manager and he said with a slick look in his face? "I am the manager" ok cool then go do something about it because if not I want my money back. I told him to not be rude to me And get it fixed and he just walked away shaking his head ... not professional bro! I work management you failed at managing and customer service. He then comes back 5 minutes later and says "I'm sorry for coming off rudely I'm getting you in next" well no sh** Sherlock. I ask him for his name and I told him thanks for apologizing but you're still getting a bad review from me .. and here I am! Lost a good customer and never coming back here again! Tried this place because of a friend's recommendation. Very easy, no-hassle experience. Prices were comparable to about every other tire shop. Very quick replacement of all four tires (I was in and out in 45 minutes). Only negative is that they don't do front end alignments. Would recommend based on my experience. read more

I had a new rims and tires put on my 2018 Kia stinger. The tires were put on in Livermore and unfortunately they damaged a stud and American tires in Turlock were unable to work on the car. The team there were so helpful they set me up With mechanic fully paid for to have the stud fixed. After the stud was fixed no questions asked they got me right in and did the work needed to be done. America's Tire Co RULES! They have been my go-to place since 2001. Always on top of any issue, always working hard to find me what I want. This time was no exception. I went in for new tires for our Explorer, and I was kind of dreading it because this has been a hugely expensive month. They were super busy as always when I came in. The manager ended up helping me. His name is David Mullenix. Not only did he get me the tires I needed, but he went out of his way to find out if he could save me money. It turned out that because I brought the truck in now, the existing tires are exactly at the point they recommend replacement. The manager checked and got me a "mileage" discount. That took $212.00 off the bill! And we still get a $75.00 mail-in rebate on top of that! These guys are rock stars. They just kill it every single time. Well done! read more

This place saved me! I had my car packed to the gills (including my cat in her carrier) to visit the Bay Area for a week, and I only made it as far as the gas station before somebody pointed out that I had a flat tire. Thankfully, America's Tire was just down the block, and they managed to fit me in quickly and get me on my way again in less than an hour. They had no problem letting me keep my kitty with me in her carrier while we waited. They also communicated with me every step of the way and were mindful of my college-student budget when they explained the best options for replacing my tire and getting me where I needed to go safely. Last week as I was driving my dash light came on re-tire pressure. I pulled off the road and my tire was almost flat. I barely made it to America's Tire and talk about great customer service. It was awesome! From the time I walked in and the attendants in the office and garage were amazing. They brought my car back to front to leave and I told them I had to go pay first and the gentleman said it was no charge-they found a small nail that had flattened my tire and fixed it. Wow!!
