Finally a bakery that has sugar-free options and can create custom cakes! I ordered a Sugar free banana cake for my husband's birthday this year and he and the family absolutely loved it! I sent a request about 10 days in advance and they responded within 24 hours. Anh, who is awesome, provided me with the right size cake based on how many people I was looking to serve, pricing on possible cake designs, and flavor options! Because this was a custom cake the inside of the cake was sugar free but it was frosted with buttercream. Which I might add was the perfect balance of sweetness! Their cake is sooo good! I've been looking so hard for a nearby bakery that has sugar free options for a birthday party with a lot of diabetic people and behold! I'm so happy I found them! We ordered a sugar free mango fruit cake and it is so moist and delicious! I was trying to call a couple of times hoping to ask if I can customize sugar free cakes but no one was answering the phone so one star less on that. I might have called during a bad time so I tried to order online instead. The online order process was easy and straightforward but you might want to try to email them if you want a specific design or color. When I came to pick up the cake it looked too plain to me but when I tasted it, it was so good! So I'm ok with it. The only thing I suggest is maybe make the box a little bigger so when you take out the cake, the icing won't stick to the box. Luckily, this wasn't a milestone or wedding cake so no big deal. We've tried several cakes at this bakery. Giandiua cake (this is a special order and needs two weeks notice usually) and Mango buttercream cake are our favorites. There's also a mini green cake in the vegan section that tastes amazing (I think it's the pistachio cake). The death by chocolate was wayyyyy too chocolatey for me. It had too chocolate taste and it was hard to go through a whole slice. The guava mousse cake wasn't sweet enough for me. So we didn't like it. The bakery charges around 33$ for normal cakes. But charges more than 70$ even for a small customization like custom cake color. This is what I don't like about them - small customizations like color change shouldn't be charged an entire extra 30$. read more

I was a little nervous because when I showed them the cake I wanted, they said they could do "something similar" I wasn't sure what that meant and honest expected the worst lol Lo and behold, when we got the cake it was EXACTLY as I picture it. The only snafu I experienced was at pick up. i sent my cousin to pick it for me. When he got there, he was told that my order didn't exist. I was honestly about to flip cuz everything was paid for. Randomly parked in front of this inconspicuous bakery to shop at another store. The bakery front offered absolutely no enticement to draw you in. As a matter of fact, the window looked a little cluttered and did not allow a view to the inside. Entry doors seemed to have a lot of sticker distractions and again nothing to draw you in. With that said, WOW!!! The cinnamon rolls were outstanding. Fresh, flakey and down right delicious and without any cream cheese frosting to distract from the taste. Seriously so good they do not put, nor do they need to put, cream cheese frosting on the rolls. I also purchased a scone with no shortage of blueberries in it. The best scone I've ever tasted! A light crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. Finally a scone made the way they should be. So glad I decided to try this place. I credit Yelp for making food experiences fun and pushing to try places I otherwise would never have ventured. This bakery is a gem and can't wait to go back and try more! Recently returned and purchased the last 2 cinnamon rolls hot out of the oven, DELICIOUS!!! I noticed that the windows were no longer cluttered and could view the inside of the bakery much better. I've been a regular here for years and am never disappointed. They make the BEST red velvet and chocolate ganache cakes (Chocolate Decadence) that are moist and not too sweet. Most bakeries make their frosting overwhelmingly sweet but not Amia. Believe it or not, they also make a damn good German chocolate cake. But if you order this cake, ask them to cut the sweetness by 1/3. read more

I walked in and no one greet me. By the way, I was the only customer at that time. With their open kitchen, I saw they had about 5 people work in the kitchen and one man walked around (he was the cashier). So, 6 people and no one saw me??? When I was about to leave, the cashier finally asked me what I needed. Secondly, there was not many choices. They didn't have many cupcakes, no small slices, no red velvet. They had mostly 6" and 8" cakes. I pointed at one cake and asked him what flavor was it. He said guava. Ok, I told him I wanted that one in 6". After he took out the cake, I pointed another one and asked him what flavor. He said mango. I asked what flavor would he recommend, and guessed what? He gave me a dirty look and said to me whatever I like! Not sure if this is their normal customer service, but this is not how they should serve their customers. Since he gave me crap look, I didn't even bother to ask more questions. I just bought the guava cake with the hope that it'd turn out good. So, 26.00 for 6" cake, this is a bit over price. But it's ok. As long as it tastes good. Boy oh boy, the cake is not that good! Yellow cake was moist, but there was no guava taste to it whatsoever. Yet, the filling as a bit sour. So disappointed! With the price, I expected something PRETTY similar yet this cake looks nothing like what I requested. If you see the photos, the first is the inspo and the second is what I got??? When I asked them about the color mismatch the guy at the counter was with "I don't care attitude" and didn't even reply with sorry. It's Guava Mousse and when we cut the cake we are surprised again. I called and it was very easy to order a passion fruit mousse cake to be picked up in a week. Pickup was simple and they had the cake ready at the scheduled time. It was $40 for a cake to feed 8 people. I opted to skip the writing on top after seeing some of the photos on yelp. As for the actual cake itself - it was amazing!!!! The sponge was light and airy. The passion fruit mousse tasted so good, it was slightly tangy but not too sour. I wouldn't have minded if it was a little more sour but it definitely wasn't overly sweet which was great.
