Unprofessional customer service ! Don't know why she has to be rude like that. Telling her customer to put their feet UP AND DOWN in her order also tapping on the feet to command you (instead of asking nicely ) and saying up and down loud enough for the whole salon to hear. I've gone here multiple times hoping each time would be better for a pedi. Every time I leave disappointed even selected the top tier/expensive pedi option ($70+). It's even worse of an experience if you bring someone and are chatting during. During those time, the technician has skipped part of the services hoping you don't notice. Great nail salon in Arlington! I frequent here often and never had an issues with my gel manicure, regular pedicure, or gel pedicure (must try!). It's best to book an appointment if visiting on the weekends unless you arrive when the shop opens or during the week before 3 pm. I'm usually in and out with 1 hour regardless of the time. Prices are up there but in my opinion I think it's worth it as the ladies do an excellent job! read more

Made an appointment for gel removal and SNS mani. I arrived a little early and was told to pick a color. So many to choose from. I sat down at a station and after selecting a color was told it cost more because it was chrome ($65 if I remember right). Would be nice id they were labeled as such. Just so happened to ask about another color and was told it was color changing. Would be nice if those were labeled too. I settled on one of the color changing colors. Cindy did my mani. She didn't say hello or greet me so I had to ask her name, but she was nice enough after we got started. But she was pretty rough when using the drill. She hit my cuticle skin a couple of times and once I even cried out because it hurt so bad. She was also very rough cutting my cuticles. I usually decline that process because I sometimes get hangnails if the technician cuts too m, but let her. I wish I hadn't. My mani was on Saturday and on Monday I'm starting to see hangnails. The end result is just ok. There's a hair that got stuck in my middle finger, and my thumb was filed too much inward. I would only return if I can't find color changing SNS anywhere else. But I would request another technician. read more

Had a great first time experience at this nail spa. I happened to be in the area picking up my eye glasses and took to Yelp looking for a good shop and they didnt disappoint. I did not have to wait at all and was taken right away. I just opted for a basic gel pedicure. They have a variety of options for spa pedicures as well which I plan to enjoy next time. I was so excited with all the goods reviews this place have, I went to get my nails done. The lady who took care of my nails was so fast, rushed doing everything, she cut me several times and the worst part was when she put her venmo in front of me to tip her when clearly I wasn't happy at all with my cuts. I tipped her, I left the place and my cuticles were hurting a lot! Is now 2 days after and they are still hurting and bleeding, I have to put band aid on, otherwise I start bleeding again. I don't recommend this place at all, or at least make sure who is gonna really take care of you. read more

I always have a fantastic experience at Amity Nail! It's on Columbia pike and it's pretty easy to find - right in between of chipotle and CycleBar! There is a parking garage that is free but can be limited when there are classes going on at CycleBar so beware. I've had multiple girls do my nails from manicures to pedicures! I always have a fantastic time here. I've gotten the gel polish which is awesome and I've also gotten pedicures that are gel. All of them are well done. My personal favorite lately is the SNS nails (dip powder) because they're healthier for your nails - no use of UV light and it takes a shorter amount of time to get the SNS out! My nail appointment usually lasts an hour. I did get an ombré nail which took a little longer because of the ombré. I really like the white nail polish so I have yet to see if the white SNS gets stain so I will update my review then. The place is clean and the staff is so friendly and nice! There are SO many choices of colors which I love. I come back here once a month to get my nails updated :) read more

Finally! After my salon's quality declined I've been looking for a new one for a while. Tried them all. Lumpy white French tips, shredded cuticles, paint chipping off the next day. Ugh. Yay for Amity! It was bustling but clean and not too noisy. Cami gave me a great pedicure. She paid careful attention to the little details. So my nails still look perfect even two weeks later. Couldn't be happier. There is free one hour parking in the connected garage. You need the ParkMobile app to get it. read more

This is my favorite nail spa! All the Nail Techs are skilled and the Manager makes sure that they are very knowledgeable! I started coming to the spa during the first stage of the pandemic reopening (May 2020). They are super clean and take your safety and theirs seriously. The prices reflect the quality of work! I have not needed to go back and get anything touched up or fixed with in 3 day policy nor has any service lasted me less than 14 days (most upwards of 21+ days). This is my first time having my nails done since the pandemic. Amity Nail Spa has made me feel so safe and comfortable in this salon. They check your temperature upon arrival then have you fill out a quick survey for contacting tracing purposes. They also have up plastic dividers between you, the nail tech and other clients if needed. A++ for all the safety measures! My nail tech was the best I've had in a very long time. I have gotten my nails done at Amity Nail spa twice now and they have been exceptional each time! They are taking very careful precautions with COVID by having you wash your hands as soon as you come in as well as a temperature check and filling out a form. This is one of the bigger nail salons I've ever been to. It's modern, clean, and comfortable. There is a lot of space so it was fairly easy to socially distance while having having a number of customers. My most recent visit I had Vicky who was very sweet. This is hands-down the best manicure I've ever gotten!!! I called the evening before and decided to make an appointment for after I got off work the following day. I got off at 4 so I made my appointment for 5 PM on Friday. Luckily I was able to find parking right in front of the nail salon. I didn't see much street parking so I'm not sure where customers would park if they didn't park in front of the salon. Although, I should mention that I just moved to the area week ago. I signed in to get my gel manicure and sat down with Nuna. Nuna was extremely sweet and wanted to make sure that I got what I wanted out of my manicure. She was extremely thorough and I am very pleased with the job she did. The last manicure I had was really bad and messed up all my nails so Nuna did a great job of fixing my natural nails that broke and made my nails look beautiful! I decided to go for a simple natural color (because of work) but they had a great selection of colors. I've never been to a salon that gives Paraffin wax treatments with a manicure for FREE. This definitely puts this salon on another level for me. The ladies in there are efficient and from my observation they try meeting the needs of every client that walks through the door. A disappointing appointment. I selected a dip color for my nails and asked for my toes to match it. Unfortunately, my toes are red and my nails are pink and they don't match. Also, I kept asking for my nails to be shorter, and she consistently did not do so. So now they are still too long for me. Also some of the nails are bumpy and others are crooked.I'm not sure something happened during the processing. Super unhappy and extremely unsatisfied with my visit. i showed my nail tech a picture of nails straight from their own website which were coffin nails with thin color around the border. i also asked for gel nails and received powder nails. I haven't gotten my nails done in years so i am unfamiliar with all things nails but i knew i wasn't getting what i asked for. The style that i received was square nails with old fashion thick color on the tips. i received something totally different . not even the same style. i wish that everything they were doing would have been explained to me so that i could have known that the nail tech wasn't going to do the style that i asked for. I still tipped and said it's okay bc she said she couldn't change the style bc it was too late, and she was super sweet, but I won't be coming back here. read more

I've been pretty happy the two times I've come here. All the nail techs seem to put care into their work which always goes a long way with me. The only reason I'm docking one star, and I'm being incredibly picky, is because the gel finish isn't always even. From a distance it looks great but if you look closely some parts are thicker than the others. I guess that's just a risk you take when you use light pastel colors with gel and not dip! read more
