Great little place for a quick k meal. You order from a kiosk, something I've never done. First you select what type of pasta you want, there's a large variety of pasta you can choose from, from there you go to your next selection the type of sauce you want, there's so many types is sauces. It's very unique concept, then you go into adding sides, sautéed mushroom's, olives, artichoke hearts. There's a very large selection to choose from there. Then it'll ask you if you want fresh grated cheese on your selection. You pay at the kiosk. You take a seat, there was no one seat you so you picked your spot and seated yourself. I'd never seen something like this. By no means is it considered fine dining but the pasta and sauce I chose was very good. Cool little concept. The ambience was up beat and very relaxed. Can't under stand why there wasn't more people in there as the food was very good. Molto Bene! As they say in Italian. The pricing was very affordable. This company has a great concept of a build your own pasta bowls, the restaurant itself for the most part was clean but it was extremely hot in there, they also had random kitchen equipment placed in the dining area, but this food was absolutely horrible, it had absolutely no flavor, it was just bland, mushy , slop, && the veggies are extremely undercooked , and the staff was not so helpful either, it was my first time here and I asked a simple question("are the meatballs homemade"") and they acted as if was bothering them, one gentleman man walked off to the back and looked at me in disgust && the older gentleman told me ""you chefs think that your god gift to food"" && he proceeds to walk off...! Food is ok. I like make your own pasta meals which is fine. You place your order from a kiosk. Which is great until it's time to pay. Then you sit there and you fuss with the cc machine and nothing happens. You go to the counter to let them know that the machine isn't working, and the girl goes. Oh yeah that's not working. You have to pay here. Why don't they have a sign indicating that? She sat there and watched me slide my card several times before getting frustrated and going to her. Potions are big. I was glad about that. Salad wasn't that great. I should have skipped the salad. The restaurant itself looks like the backroom of a restaurant. Not sure if they were going to renovations or something, but all of their supplies were in the front door stacked up. Everything was kind of dirty. The seats are all cracked. Tables are dirty and crooked. They don't sit right. It's just all very blah and doesn't even feel like a restaurant. I ordered delivery from PastaMasta recently and was like, why haven't I done this before? It's like the Chipotle of pasta. A fast-casual, build your own meal kinda deal. You simply choose your type of pasta, choose your sauce, select all the veggies and meats you want, any extra cheese, herbs, toppings, etc. You could really go crazy! They also have salad and a couple desserts. I went with gluten free spaghetti, gluten free Alfredo sauce, sauteed mushrooms, roasted garlic, and cherry tomatoes. Then I added shaved parmesan, red pepper flakes, basil, and melted butter (hahaha like I needed more fat in this dish). You get A LOT of pasta, people. I think it's easily enough for 3 meals. Definitely 2. It comes well packaged and mine was still nice and hot even after a 10 minute drive and sitting on my porch for 10 minutes. I am taking partial blame for not turning around and leaving when I walked through the door. Front area in total disarray. In addition to the smell of days old dirty mop water, floor, tables, drink station, windows, etc...ALL looked as if they were coated in that dirty mop water. I tried this place for the first time yesterday and I can't believe it took me so long! It's basically a pasta bar but they make the pasta for you behind the scenes in their kitchen. You order from a touchscreen and choose from several different types of pasta including angel hair, macaroni, bow tie, rotini, etc. They have several different sauces including alfredo, marinara, or cheese among others. Then you can also add veggies and meat to your pasta including sausage or meatballs, mushrooms, spinach, etc. You get the picture, things that would taste good in pasta. I got a bowtie pasta with alfredo sauce with sundried tomatoes, spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, sausage, Parmesan, and a sprinkle of parsley on top. It took about 10 minutes to get my order and it was super hot and fresh! The veggies were cooked to my liking, not too crisp or mushy. Every bite had something delicious to look forward to. I think the sauce was missing a little something but next time I will try a tomato based sauce. The portion was very large and should probably serve 2. It was only $14. I think that's more than reasonable for a freshly made and custom built dish as I easily spend $14 on chicken strip meals regularly. I really like that you just choose your ingredients from the touchscreen instead of going to the counter and looking at everything and telling the cooks what you want. The meatballs were okay and regular sized, but tasted like frozen meatballs. The only thing I did like about this order were that the noodles were perfectly al dente. The breadsticks were soft but there was no taste. Couldn't taste salt, butter, garlic, onion, nothing with these breadsticks. I wouldn't recommend this dish. You start of by choosing your pasta, then your sauce, any add-ins, toppings, and garnishes. There are plenty of choices in all categories, some of the pastas and sauces I hadn't even heard of. You can get by really cheap or rack up a huge tab depending on what you add. I got the cheese tortellini in a spicy Cajun sauce, and it was pretty spicy! A lot more than I thought it would be, but in a good way. They cook the pasta when you order it, so it hasn't been cooked and sitting for a long time. The tortellini were good. Next I added some Italian sausage, they slice it at an angle, so they're long. Finished it up with mushrooms and basil. Delicious! Got an order of breadsticks and marinara, it was as expected. I am so disappointed with the service here. We called in advance to ask if they could take a large party of 20 and they said to come on over. The entire experience has made absolutely no sense. First of all, there are 8 kiosks for you to submit you order from. This makes NO SENSE as it prints out a receipt at the cash register for the cashier to punch in your order anyways. They also don't START your order until you pay which is super confusing. They got SEVERAL orders incorrect. For example, I ordered the penne with meat sauce, mushrooms, sausage, garlic, and basil with 2 breadsticks. I had to remind the waitress for my breadsticks and my pasta never came with the garlic. Additionally, others had to ask for their soda cup and side salads as they were not provided with it upon paying. Several people in our party waited 45 minutes for their food and got JIPPED on their sides. Ie- there was literally half a jalapeño in one order and one piece of spinach in another. They completely forgot about some of the add-ons like the veggies etc. the list goes on and on! They write your order number on top of the lid. What also made no sense is that they were serving others who were AFTER us and several people had to go up and ask for their food. We had #42 and they were serving #50. Besides, it's also WASTEFUL that we toss all the lids! They should find another way to number the order and save the plastic for people who are actually taking the order to go. Last but NOT least- the manager came over to ask for donations! I'm all for supporting causes but do it when we're paying, not when we're eating, and especially not when you're sucking at giving us our food. read more

My two gripes are that the sweet tea tasted sour like the container needed to be washed out (I poured it out and just got soda instead so no biggie) and that it was hot inside the dining room, but that's probably somewhat to do with the weather. I agree that the pasta is a bit pricey for what it is. But I do think you get a pretty big portion and it has always been really good in my personal opinion. The only thing I would change is the fact that the noodles are often over cooked. Workers are always extremely friendly and nice! Haven't had a bad experience here yet and this is my third time here (of many more). Small tips I can give: Don't get extra sauce, it costs extra and looks the same as the normal sauce. The ordering system here is pretty convenient. They have a couple tablets on one side of the room that you use to customize your pasta bowls and send in your order, and there's a worker by the register for you to pay for the meal. I like this because if you're a picky eater, you can see exactly what's added to your pasta and there's less chance of any miscommunication as to which ingredients and add-ins you want or don't want. Convenience aside, the actual food was pretty average. There's a nice selection of pasta types and sauces, but if you're used to eating your pasta loaded with many meats and veggies, you'll be paying extra for each ingredient here.
