We headed back downstairs after looking into our off property dining options. Azriel greeted us immediately and was friendly and attentive. We noticed other patrons eating, but we felt like going on an adventure for food. We made small talk with him and he gave us a few suggestions since we didn't want to dine at the steakhouse in the hotel. I had some Don Julio with lime and tajin. Service was very attentive. They quickly checked on us and got drinks ready. They have a very extensive drink menu with lots of options to choose from. In addition to a large drink menu, they also have a great variety of food options. Whether you want a full meal or just some fries or apps for the table, you can get a lot of warm items to enjoy. It's not often I actively seek out a hotel bar, but Amourath 19 inside the Hyatt Regency Sacramento is definitely an exception. If you're crawling (or stumbling) your way along K and L streets, this is a must-visit stop. With plenty of space and an open, airy feel, it's refreshingly clean and doesn't have that "packed sardine" vibe you find at other places nearby. The bar staff is fantastic, and finding a seat has never been a problem even when we're slightly tipsy and probably louder than necessary. The team is super friendly, always happy to chat, and somehow patient enough to humor us mildly inebriated patrons. They have an impressive selection of drinks, and occasionally they offer a special where the bartender whips up a surprise concoction (always an entertaining gamble). I've enjoyed everything I've tried here my go-to is usually an Old Fashioned, but their margaritas and espresso martinis have also been spot on. Definitely worth stumbling in! read more

Was here to watch the Fight to Win Battle of the Badge 4 event at the hotel and stopped in to grab a bite before the event. I was here over 3yrs ago and thought I'd give this place another try. It's convenient because it's a few steps away from the event. I sat down and waited for at least 20 mins before I ordered. We finally asked if we could order and staff apologized that everyone came and left at the same time. I totally get that but staff could've at least acknowledged us and could've said 'I'll be right with you'. I watched staff walk by multiple times and didn't bother to say a word. I also saw staff snacking on fries while working and thought it was extremely unprofessional. I ordered wings and a Cobb salad. Both were ok. read more

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner and really appreciated the quiet, peaceful atmosphere, thedim lighting, cozy booth seating, and overall a super chill vibe. It wasn't crowded at all, which made it perfect for a relaxed date night. I ordered a mocktail and it was really good; refreshing and thoughtfully made. The tacos were definitely the highlight of the meal for me. Not going to lie, I ended up eating most of them because they were that good! My boyfriend enjoyed the tacos too. He wasn't a fan of the burger, though, gave it a 2/5. And while the steak in the salad wasn't my favorite, the salad itself wasn't bad. Overall, the food was okay aside from the tacos, but the drinks and ambiance made it worth the visit. Do not come here if you are in any kind of rush whatsoever. When we arrived, it took a few minutes to be acknowledged before finding out we could seat ourselves. Several of the tables were waiting to be cleared and the rest were taken, so we seated ourselves at a table with minimal trash on it. After waiting 30 minutes to place our order, it then took nearly an hour for our food to arrive - including the appetizer we ordered in hopes of having food sooner. Even the drinks took a while to come out, which we sipped on as we watched our food sit on the counter waiting to be brought to us. By the time I got my fish tacos, the aioli had crusted over on the fish - unpleasant to say the least. The fish tacos were unimpressive, the chips were stale and accompanied by flavorless salsa, the old fashioned was mostly syrup, and the regular fries were mediocre at best - definitely pay extra for the sweet potato fries, it's worth it! The BLT, chicken tenders, and Cobb salad were all decent. I cannot say I'll be back - the steakhouse down the hall is definitely better in terms of service, quality, and timeliness. read more

A HIDDEN GEM Located in the Hyatt Downtown Hotel, this upscale lobby bar offered us an alternative to the busy restaurants. Although not an extensive menu, the "Bar Food" was more than we expected. Our server Jennifer was most attentive while our initial party of 3, waited for our Two additional guests flying in. Jennifer made sure we were given time to order our drinks, served with a smile . She explained the menu, even making suggestions. Once our guests arrived she started the process over for them. The Manager Ke assisted in the delivery of the food. Great food and hospitality. I was staying at the hotel and after a nice workout I needed something quick and healthy to eat. I saw down and was greeted by a really nice waitress. She was quick to make sure I got my drink and order placed without having to wait too long, even though they were extremely busy due to an event. Great lounge bar area located in the lobby of the Hyatt Sacramento Hotel. This became our go to spot every evening for a cocktail before going out for dinner as well as a few nightcaps before calling it a night. Open area with the long bar placed in the center as the focal point. A few tv's on both sides, perfect for watching college and nfl football games. Friendly staff that would give us recommendations for local restaurants, beers as well as just great conversations. I enjoyed disaronno on the rocks, rum and diet coke as well as local beers...track 7 panic IPA and Ruhstaller Gilt Edge Golden Lager. All very good! Also tried a few appetizers here too, House Made Pretzels with beer cheese and an IPA Mustard and Pimento Cheese, Fried Calamari and Shishito Peppers and House Smoked Chicken Wings all great items to share. read more

They have your old standby have tables and stools, at the bar seating, and bench couch like seating which is very comfy!! The people here were really great!! We had superb service. Above and beyond friendly service. Very good at suggestions and checked in on us frequently. The happy hour menu was great! It's a small one but no different than any other place.
