When my wife was having trouble deciding what she wanted, Kelly asked her about her tastes and even looked up the ingredients in the mixer to make sure she was not allergic. I had a Negroni with Mezcal and chocolate bitters per her recommendation. The food was good, especially the cheese curds and sliders. The decoration, lighting, and seating were also inviting. This used to be my to go to spot after getting off work in downtown. It had been years since my last visit, so I decided to stop by one afternoon, and I'm glad I did. It wasn't busy at all, with only a couple of other guests inside, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. Kelly was my bartender, and she provided excellent service from start to finish. I ordered the Pismo Milk Wash and a 50/50 Martini, and both cocktails were fantastic. Kelly checked on me throughout my visit without being overbearing, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for well crafted cocktails and great service. I haven't had the chance to try the food yet, but it's on my list, and I'll definitely be back. read more

Came in on a Monday evening around 7pm. Chill vibes, good music, and awesome, attentive and accommodating bartending bros. Cocktails were pretty nice, and service was quick. Price wasn't bad at all, and it is a nice spot to unwind a bit. The drink specials rotate, so it's best to see it in person. Now, a few notes: - This place is small(er) than I expected. It was nice and cozy for my group, but I can see how packed this place could get. - Parking (since no one seems to bring this up): it is a mission, got lucky to find a space by Cesar Chavez Plaza, but it seems much 'quieter' to park towards the capital and walk a few blocks up. Items purchased: Bourbon Negroni: 4.8/5 - Mr bearded bartender worked magic, not too many notes on this classic drink Something something slushi (this isn't the name of it) - it was purple with pandan flavoring. Friend liked it, and it was a nice presentation. Very sippable. Something something creamsicle (also not the name of it) - I had a sip of it. It was sweet and refreshing. Other friend had beer, and we got the Mac and cheese (it was a large portion++) If in the area, I would say check them out. My husband and I stopped by on a recent Saturday afternoon for a few drinks. I can't remember the bartender who served us, but he was awesome. So friendly, helpful and of course his drinks were good too! I got the pepper-on-tini martini, which was a unique take on a dirty martini, using pepperoncini brine instead of olive brine. I wouldn't order it again, because I'm not a huge pickle fan and it def gave a pickled aftertaste. And I had a dirty martini which was good. We didn't try any of the food so I can't comment on that, but their happy hour is 4-7 everyday which is a nice offering. read more

This is a very understated bar in downtown Sacramento that has a great Vibe and fast service. I decided to spend some time here because I made it extra early to my dinner reservation. It happened to be happy hour and they had some great deals. They had a lot of drink options at a great price and a very quirky food menu. I like that the service was fast and the bartender was extremely friendly and he could tell me everything I needed to know about my drink. As the evening went on the bar became more crowded. This place is a solid 5 stars for me. The atmosphere is friendly, the bartender was very pleasant and engaging without being fake or self interested (I've met some that mostly only want to talk about themselves, which yes, is weird for that position). They feature happy hour snacks and drinks. Let me tell you, the drinks were prepared super fancy in presentation, tasted excellent because they weren't overdone, and just the right amount of buzz. Last Friday night, I really enjoyed our impromptu *pre-game stop* here @ Ten Ten Room, before moving on to the Crest Theatre for their classic movie night showing of ALIENS. THE SETUP Thanks to bartendress Hadley for hosting us at the bar in this lovely divey classy establishment. SPEAKEASY FEEL The look and feel was of a classic speakeasy of yesteryear and really amped up the vibe and ambiance. From the tables and chairs to the decor, it was nice to feel we were time-warped back into the Roaring 20s. LE LIBATIONS And thanks to Hadley for making us absolutely SPECTACULAR libations! From the drink menu I immediately zoned in on the "7th Ave" (a bourbon drink, bourbon being my *jam*). It was fun having a front row seat to watching Hadley make all of our drinks. With the high tight sides around the perimeter of the stool, they are too snug for me to scoot back to even make me feel comfortable. I was constantly feeling like the small portion of my butt was going to slip off and I'd land on my ass, OR I was going to fall back completely and ruin my back / hit my head on the ground. 1010 10th. I like the numerology. I liked the cheeseburger and Caesar salad too. Apparently there's a new chef. Plus they serve Guinness. Sometimes it's hard to find a stout beer. The waitress was really nice. The speakeasy vibes were good. Most people were sitting at the bar when we came in, but the high tops were pretty cool. So I sat there with a friend. I'd recommend this place as a bar or restaurant. It definitely can serve either purpose. read more

What a great bar! Very cozy and quaint. My fiance and I came here because he wanted to try a Boulevardier. This bar was the first to pop up when I searched that drink up on Yelp. We ended up trying not only drinks but also food on their menu. Shrimp tacos were good. Nothing crazy. We loved the garlic fries. Super flavorful! He had his boulevardier which he enjoyed and I tried their Santorini and Dragon Rider. The Santorini was a mix of flavors, supposed to have watermelon but I didn't really get that. I did enjoy the Dragon Rider - a rich, more creamy drink. Definitely a place I'd come back to especially because we wanted to try their Korean hot dog but it was unavailable at the time. Anyway, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but when we walked in, I was immediately impressed by how charming and low key it was. This place is such a hidden gem!! Super friendly, knowledgeable staff who genuinely seem to care about what's on the menu and how each guest is treated. We were taken care of by Hadley, who was able to recommend cocktails based on our preferences and even whip up something not on the menu. I love when bartenders can do that! Ten Ten Tap Room, Sacramento, CA - June 30, 2023 Ever walk into a place, no one's there except for the bartender, and you think to yourself "hum, I don't know, not sure if I'm gonna like this place?" We'll that's what it was like at 5 pm on a Friday night in Downtown Sacramento on a 100 degree day at Ten Ten Tap Room. Located on 10th Street on the west side, next door to the Citizens Hotel (10th and J), this seemingly hole in the wall was good and bad - A Tale of Two Cities if you well. We did have a little trouble zeroing in on the location. Seriously, if you blinked, you would miss it and wind up at 1010+1/2 and say "where the hell is this place?" There is a three foot tall rod iron fence in front that gives it away. Store that away in your AI memory bank. You'll need it to find this place. There are a lot of homeless people in this general area, which is a huge disappointment to me, Putting the homeless issue in Downtown Sacramento aside, this little tap room is really cool. Our bartenders John and Slate couldn't have been more friendly and personable. My wife ordered a Sazerac (Rittenhouse Rye Whiskey, Cognac, Demerara, Peychaud's Bitters, Angostura Bitters, Absinthe) and I ordered a Manhattan with Makers Mark bourbon. John was a little surprised when I asked for Makers Mark. He was expecting I would ask for a rye whiskey. The drink came out as I expected (I make the same concoction at home), but I got to thinking "what would this taste like with a rye whisky?" So I asked John to make me his version using a rye whiskey. They have a pretty substantial selection of spirits, and John climbed high up the ladder to find just the right rye - Elijah Craig. OK, now I'm intrigued. John worked his magic putting together the ingredients and brings it to the table. First sip, HEAVEN! Perfect blend of rye, sweet vermouth, and bitters! For all of you Manhattan experts, I apologize for my ignorance. But now I know. Thank you John for educating me! Will I be back? Probably not. Convince City Council to find a semblance of an intelligent solution to redirecting the homeless away from your neighborhood to homeless shelters, educational opportunities, drug rehab centers, and mental health facilities, and I'll be back. We went here during the Spirit World themed pop-up and BOLGOGYEE food vendor (pop-up?). The Halloween theme was cool, it's a small bar but comfortable and clean inside. The ectoplasm shooter was really good but the I Ain't Afraid of No Ghost shooter wasn't my thing. I tried the BOLGOGYEE pop-up (Filipino fusion(?) food) and got the pork & shrimp lumpia and chicken adobo. Both were great quality and flavorful. Bartender kept his cool with a rude guy who apparently knows the owner. I felt bad for the bartender bc the guy was a jerk. Well done though. I would've told that jerk to leave. They have seasonal pop ups! My favorite is the Halloween pop up. Their drinks don't disappoint and service is always amazing. Ambiance is more edgy than your typical hipster bar. Personally, I love it here. They serve small plates too! Booths and tables are for smaller parties, comfortable up to 4. I've been here with a group of 6 and sat comfortably at the tables. read more

I've heard about the Ten Ten room from my lil sister who is freshly 21. The place sounded cool. When I walked in, I loved the vibe. The place is dimly lit with hues of blue, green, and red. RnB music is playing in the background. Each table has a small candle on it and the tables have granite countertops. They require no reservations either! It's actually pretty easy to pass the place up. The bar is right by some lofts so I had wandered like 40 ft past the actual bar. The bar has pretty diverse attendees. Talk about a hidden gem. I've passed by this place weekly since 2019 and never knew it was there. Stumbled onto this place after I saw an insane line of people a few weeks ago apparently for a Harry Potter theme night and yes, yes I feel like I missed out. Came here to get a nightcap after FoodieLand and this place did not disappoint. The customer service was stellar, the drinks were a great value, and the vibe was lit. Came on a Saturday around 10 and stayed until closing. The night we came there was a great DJ that played a great selection of old school RnB and hip hop chart music. The vibe was chill and mellow and more of a lounge/cheers style establishment and I loved it. I will most definitely be back to try the food and happy hour. read more
