I came in today to get coffee because I ran out at home. I would love to tell you I walked in and got my coffee without a hitch. I cannot. Lol. I grabbed my cup and then it took about 5 minutes for me to figure out to press the ad for the menu to come up. I got the coffee and then noticed Snickers were on sale. I got my husband 2 for $3.00 good thing because he was hungry. Good service, clean store, and I would stop in here again. Especially because I know how to use the machine now. read more

CLEAN w/ a FULL CAR WASH! Not only is this gas station super clean and accessible, but it's spacious and has plenty of pumps. I didn't feel rushed and people minded their business the whole time. I love an easy breezy gas station with no shenanigans. Gas was quite pricey, it was $60 to fill up a medium sized SUV, but hey at least I got the middle grade gas. I was thoroughly impressed that this station has a full-on car wash with free vacuums and all the perks you'd find at a Tommy's or Quick Quack. What went well? Great service. Mustafa has been providing above and beyond service every time that I see him and in every interaction that I have with him. He is always kind and professional and seems to enjoy serving the many buried clients that he encounters. He's always taking steps to perform extra service above and beyond was required. As an example, I was pumping gas at a gas pump, and the printer was out. I pressed the button to inform staff that the printer was out. And true to his form Mustafa said he'll be right out and brought the receipt out to me at the pump. I walked into the store just to grab a Red Bull. The store was busy but the assistant manager Bree immediately made me feel welcomed even though she was tidying up around the store. When I went to check out she rung me up and overall provided me with a great AMPM experience. I'm not from the area but visit my mom frequently and would definitely make this my go to stop when I'm heading home. Also restrooms were extremely clean! 10/10 read more

Watch your lottery tickets to make sure they're for the correct date. The clerks just tried to sell me an old ticket. It wasn't a mistake, they had old tickets ready for when I bought my ticket. They didn't even put the $20 on the register, just handed me a wrinkled ticket not from the lotto machine. That was my first clue. I immediately looked at the date and saw it was on old ticket. The store had some bumps when they first+) opened.Some of the staff wasn't as friendly or knowledgeable a as I would have liked.fry But they seem to have gotten all the kinks out. The store is nice and they have a pretty good selection. They have a nice car wash. It's a drive thru self service with high powered vacuum machines you can use to clean out your own car. Prices range from $9_$15. It's a little tricky at first because you are guided onto the ramp that pulls your car through, but it's very convenient. They have an attendant who guides you and provides you with complimentary wipe for the dash and air freshener! I really like the car wash option. The gas prices are comparable to other stations in the area and the location is very convenient for anyone in the vicinity of Newport and Menifee Road. read more

I brought my wife and child into the store and after I payed my little one dropped a slushy onto the floor and it went everywhere. I felt bad and offered to clean it up and the cashier at the front told me it was ok and not to worry about it and that he will clean it up. He was very nice and understanding about the whole situation and assured me it was ok and he would clean it. 10/10 service and the employees are extremely nice. read more

The gas here is priced higher than stations west on Newport. Arco is usually cheaper so that is a big negative. The one positive is the nice car wash. We have noticed that there are always folks hanging out smoking outside the doors and near the car wash. Not sure if they are employees or patrons. It is super hard to turn into the gas station coming south on Menifee Rd and going east on Newport due to way the roads are lined with two sets of double yellow lines. read more

Beware of car wash! Careless teenage employees. First off I'll note that most employees working the car wash are nice and respectful. I am a regular of the car wash or at least I was until recently when I had a very careless teenage girl working the car wash. The experience first started to go down hill as I'm driving into the wash. Generally the employees guide you into the tire track. This girl however just kept waving me forward until my car bounced off the side bumper and jolted me into place on the track. I thought this was weird and pretty lazy of her but brushed it off. As the machine began to pull me forward I watched around the vehicle as the employees washed my wheels and taped the wiper on the back window (as I always do) except this time the careless teenage girl decided I didn't need tape on my back wiper to hold it down. There was nothing I could do at this point as bubbles and water were raining down on my car so I figured it'd be fine. Until it wasn't. The first roller brush came down from cleaning my roof and grabbed my rear wiper and snapped it off. At this time the whole system suddenly turned off. Then about 10 seconds later started back up and finished washing my car. I was disappointed but not mad. Things happen. So I grabbed my baby and went and talked to the manager. She nicely filled out an incident form and I thought to myself "wow I almost expected Arco to not care and tell me 'Oh well'". I told her about the careless teenage girl so she had me walk with her toward the car wash. I thought that was odd but ok I'll talk to the girl. We get to the wash and she points to the disclaimer sign showing that they are not responsible for damage caused by the car wash. Wow. Ok thank you. However, I don't recall seeing a sign disclaiming when a careless employee makes a mistake that leads to your car being damaged! Very disappointing. read more

Save your time and money! I went to get a car wash and wanted to vacuum my car... I got the car wash the vacuums didn't work! There was no suction or vacuum hose in most of the stalls. I asked the employee what was going on and he shrugged his shoulders not wanting to engage in a conversation about his job. He cut me short by saying" go into the store (ampm) and get your money back". Which I did after the short older manager tried bribing me with a complimentary car wash when his "new vacumm hose come in" he didn't want to refund my money until I got a little loud and told him he can't bribe me so I could be cheated out of a half done car wash. It was obvious he was upset he had to return money but,if you run a business make sure it's top notch and has working gizmos and gadgets!!!! To the manager or owner of that establishment...hire people that have manners and want to work! Hire someone that can speak up and engage in a conversation! These youngsters with attitudes and lack of customer service shouldn't be part of your business. Because of my experience and having to deal with stupidity I will NEVER return. read more

This place is an overpriced mess. Normally AMPM's signify an area of town that is low end, so none of us in the neighborhood we're happy about this addition. It's nice inside, but gas prices are thirty cents higher than surrounding stations, normally it's ten to fifteen cents cheaper at all other AMPM locations. Plus they still charge the .35 cent fee for atm cards. What a ripoff! You'll pay at least three dollars more a fill-up to fill your tank. Merchandise is more expensive too! Carwash...save your money.Vacuums dont suck-or swallow-no pun intended...Bay number 1 has duct tape hose ....had to try 2 other bays before it picked some popcorn...Tire Shine feature coats one 9 inch swath...then of you dont smear it around ?...it is forced to fly off the wheel on to the side of the paint.and in a few days the dust will collect and voila'..then its noticeable.Been a year since I came back...last time too much soap residue.thats enough . read more

Only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because of the car wash. Other than that the employees are super rude! I went in there for a monster but first I needed to use the restroom. I asked for the key and the employee looked at me up and down and said, "I don't know, try knocking." I didn't say anything. I went and knocked. After nobody answering i went and asked again. She started yelling! "Where's the key?! Who has the key?!" Then turns to me and says for the second time, "I don't know where it is!" With such an attitude.
