I use Amy's cleaners for all of my dry cleaning and Alterations. Everything is done professionally and perfectly. They are great!

Charged me $90 to hem a skirt and a dress- they didn't hem of the dress enough it was dragging on the floor and crooked

if I could give zero stars I would. I have a brand new Sherpa jacket from ALIO. I wore it only twice before taking it here. they completely damaged the zipper and after sending photos over they said they would refund my cleaning only. I will have to donate the jacket as it looks terrible now. Like other people have said if you like your clothes do not come here. she said it is normal for things to get damaged and they aren't responsible which is concerning that this has happened to others. when I called to notify them of the damaged she said to mark my zipper with a pen? why would I do that to a $200 jacket? I paid for it to be cleaned not damaged. Here is a photo for proof. I will contact the better business bureau as well as anywhere I can post my picture and review. DO NOT COME HERE! I can't say enough good things about these ladies! Talented, Welcoming, Affordable and Quick to get things done!! If you're looking for someone to handle your dry cleaning and/or alterations, stop looking! YOU'VE FOUND THEM!!!! We have an upcoming trip to Mexico and we, like always wait until the last minute(ish)... with our unique sizes/dimensions, we always need stuff hemmed or altered, this being no exception! She took a dress I loved, but was way too big on me and made it absolutely perfect! And my husband! He wanted this one suit jacket, but it was only available in a size wayyyy too big for him... she once again did an amazing job & it fit him perfectly!!!! We've also brought in a ton if pants and shirts to be hemmed and everything... PERFECT! All within a SUPER QUICK turnaround time and VERY AFFORDABLE! I've had some troubling experiences with tailers! I won't recommend this dry cleaner. One there more expenses then other dry cleaner in the area. I won't mind that but they ruined my bottom-down shirt. I was out of town when I noticed. I was lucky the blazer jacket I had covered up the ruined material on the button-down shirt. I never in my life had a dry cleaner run clothes. I had used Amy's before for a bridesmaid dress which turn out amazing. Well it my turn to get married. I had moved away to the San Francisco's area, but was coming to San Diego for our wedding. I called and let her know I wouldn't be in town till Thursday & would need to pick up my dress Saturday for our wedding on Sunday. While I had my dress altered up near SF they lady had not done the heart shape part correctly. It was lose & showed my bra....the SF lady just told me to use double tape... ummm NO... I gave Amy's a quick call with my request and she saved the day!!! Amazing job & no pulling over moving all night. Thank you for an amazing job on such short notice. read more

This is such a strange cleaner. The guys I used in NOVA before I moved here were fast, efficient, friendly, gave suckers to kids, and remembered by name. And they were less expensive. Amy's is none of those. The best word is quirky. She does get my shirts washed and ironed. But every time I go with the receipt to retrieve last week's shirts, I have this feeling that she's not going to find them. When I drop off shirts, she reacts with amazement every single week when I tell her no starch. And she operates the cash register as if she just started working there in the morning and can't quite figure it out. And the price, $2.50/shirt, sure seems high. Finally -- and this is not Amy's fault -- the little strip mall she's in has the narrowest parking spaces anywhere. But she's close to my house. Anyone have any suggestions for a cleaner in PB? read more

Do not get your clothes cleaned here unless it's a uniform for work and you don't care if it gets ruined. I used to go here once every two weeks with about $50-$75 worth of cleaning. I would say I was a pretty regular loyal customer. Cleaning was always marginal and prices kept going up thanks to new owner but I think I stayed out of convenience. Recently, I had two dresses that were ruined by them. One the entire zipper was pulled off the back and the other one looked like the material had been dragged under a car for 3 days. Zipper was possibly fixable. The other was not. Figuring I see this woman every two weeks, I brought the dresses back and showed her the issues. And her answer....was that I had brought them in like that. Really, why would I bring two ruined dresses in to be cleaned? Unbelievable. I understand mistakes and accidents happen but in the end usually you do the right thing. I have NO tolerance for liars. I wish I could give 0 stars for this lady and business. read more

This place is the best around the area. I've been living in PB for a little over 6 years now and had my fair share of wandering around until I found this little place on Turquoise. Their service has always been reliable for me both in quality and time. I'm always satisfied with all of my frequent dry cleanings and the occasional tailoring. My husband and I both have sales jobs so we really want a good dry cleaner for our daily working clothing. At Amy's, they get the job done very well and I never had to wait more than I should. The owner is very attentive and really cares about your items. She will go through all means possible to get your stuffs done to your liking. Prices are great for the service your receive. read more
