Amy's is a solid FOUR. I'm laughing at some of the reviews expecting that because it's vegi-vegan that it has to be completely health-centered or prepared by gourmet Parisian chefs. It's quite obviously a fast food experience from the menu to to the location and layout. It's a million times better than the corporate death burgers from the big chains so stop the whining and the faux outrage. I'm now going to give you two solid recommendations should you end up there: The vegan margherita pizza (legit!) and the chocolate shake. Yes. Also a slight apology: my eating partner with adult braces ordered the vegan burger and a little bit was stuck in her teeth. Minutes after we left she picked a piece of the burger out of her braces and flicked it our the car window, it then landed on a guy's exposed arm who was at the stoplight next to us. Just amazing!! First time at Amy's. It's 20 minutes away and what a gem! From the ordering process, curbside pickup, fabulous and quick customer service, packaging, freshness, and tastiness of everything (EVERYTHING) we ordered (and we ordered a lot), I'm absolutely impressed and in love. My friend who I went with is 100% vegan and I was so delighted to find everything on the menu with a GF, VEG or both option. I had ordered mostly what I wanted on the website then realized later that I wanted to add some more things but ended up having to call the store. I braced myself for being on hold awhile, or it to get confusing for the person on the phone, but none of that. Whoever the amazing person I talked to on the phone was all over it so fast and asked whether we wanted a second curbside pickup so we could start noshing on the first order. And she did! So polite, friendly, and went of their way. THANK YOU! On the food: * The sweet potato fries are just perfect. I always go out of my way to eat Amy's and I love it, but I'd like to acknowledge one specific person at this location. I'm super bummed I never got his name, but the cashier on 5/19/24 at around 7pm is hands down the nicest person in food service I've ever encountered. He was incredibly friendly, super sweet, and provided first class service! He handled a rush with grace and treated every customer like they were long-time friends. I love Amy's frozen foods (you gotta try the red curry) and their restaurant at SFO, so I was excited to try the drive-thru in Marin. Only 3 stars because of the inconvenience I've had to deal with in retrieving meal items on at least 3 occasions. Not in bag. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR BAG. I drive all the way home 20 min away only to find one our meals missing. The other times they shorted me French fries. I called and went back 10 days later for my "free items" only to be told that the meal tickets are for my next trip. They can only handle one "free item" at a time at the register (my salad was already paid for 10 days ago). The kicker is this very same experience has happened numerous times to a family member who lives close by. What are the odds!!?? Wow! As a long time vegan who is picky about restaurants- we finally tried this place last week after years being in the Bay and let me tell you- it's WORTH the 25 min drive & toll up from the city lol. I've loved Amy's frozen stuff since I was younger and this is basically just a fresh, elevated, fast food version! They have so many great options- a few favs are Rachel's salad (honestly, one of my favorite vegan salads EVER), the vegan cheese fries (unreal) and the vegan broccoli mac and cheese! Enjoyed this little spot. The staff was nice and the food was pretty good. I asked about the sodium content of some of their offerings and the cashier gladly looked up the information-nice customer service. There is indoor and outdoor seating which is nice or you can order through the convenient drive-thru. I had the SUPER Salad - SEASONAL LETTUCES, QUINOA, HUMMUS, BAKED TOFU, CARROTS, PURPLE CABBAGE, PUMPKIN SEEDS. It was soooo good and filling. I also had the sweet potato fries which were good. I tried their ginger mint lemonade which was very refreshing. My friend and nephew had the cheeseburger, regular fries and a milkshake-no complaints. Glade we took the drive out to try this plant based restaurant. OH and the restaurant and restrooms were very clean, unfortunately more often than not restrooms are not well maintained but I appreciated how clean things were. Brace yourself; this isn't your typical fast-food drive-thru. The food here tastes excellent, the ingredients are organic, there are no GMOs, and it's all fresh! Everything on the menu is vegetarian but they also have gluten-free and vegan options. So far I've had the Amy burger, chili cheese fries, the orange milkshake, and ginger mint lemonade. I'm a big burger fan but man, I don't miss meat one bit when eating here. Their burger is packed with flavor and whatever their secret sauce is, it's downright tasty! Their french fries are cooked with sunflower oil and are definitely the best fast-food fries I've ever had. Their ginger mint lemonade is truly refreshing and the orange milkshake tastes just like a creamsicle. Right now it appears that only the drive-thru is open due to COVID, however, their location is beautiful and they are conveniently located right off the freeway. Every visit I've had so far, the food has come out quickly and the service was great. I can't wait to come back and try other menu items. Even their packaging brings a smile to my face with all of the bold patterns and bright colors! Can't get over watching someone so fully show up. Always exciting for me to witness dedication. Whatever is involved. Playing chess, washing a car, windsurfing, waitressing; when you see someone so present in what they're doing, committed and super focused, it's life affirming! I was so happy that Amy's opened up in Corte Madera. I was telling everyone about them and was going a few times a week at the start -- but their service and quality has spiraled downhill in my experience. Everything from food not cooked to temperature, long waits in line, so much confusion with orders and more. Prior to my most recent visit I was last there a few months ago in another long line and when I got up to order (with a half dozen cars already behind me) I was then told they could only do cash only. Well I had no cash on hand and was stuck in line nearly 1/2 hour total. Neither management nor the employees could think to inform those driving up before it was too late to turn around. So we did go back the other night but we certainly regret it. The employee taking orders outside must have hated her job given her demeanor. Then the long wait in line and to top it off, not only was the vegan Mac & Cheese mostly just Mac but the vegan chili cheese fries box was barely a quarter full with very little cheese to boot. (Is cheese too costly now?) Nearly every aspect of that visit was a fail. I really wanted to support this location but they've really really let me down. I'll be back in another few months in the hope things improve. But next time I'll inspect my order before driving to my destination and I'm not going to use their drive-Thru again that's for sure. read more

This place it great. I have been a fan of the frozen food for years, so this is a welcome addition to my lunch options in the area. The vegan milkshakes are my absolute favorite as I cannot handle a lot of dairy. Chocolate, so far is my favorite flavor, but I am working on trying all of the flavors. I usually get the Amy burger. Last night my family and I went through the drive-thru we love this place and absolutely enjoy their shakes and food every time. The employees are always so nice and respectful. This time was no different in terms of service quality, but there was something that stood out to me as a mother. When we pulled up to the window, a young lady greeted us, and she did her job with professionalism and care. She read the order back and was very kind when we asked her for utensils and a water. She remained very sweet the entire time despite clearly having been through something tough. I couldn't help but notice that her eyes were watery, and she was visibly shaking. It was clear that she was pushing through, trying to stay strong while delivering excellent service, but it was hard not to feel for her in that moment. I sincerely hope that Amy's takes great care of their employees because it was upsetting to see her in such state and i'm starting to question this company's values. I have hopes that Amys ensures they are looking out for their employees' well being, as they always seem like a wonderful team :) read more

I would give this place a 3.5, but since it's during coronavirus and they're brand new, I'll round up to 4. We went during the dinner rush and were through the (what appeared to be) long like in under 10 minutes. Very efficient drive through system with two employees walking from car to car taking orders. We ordered a single burger, vanilla shake, sweet potato fries, Regular Sweet Salad and an order of Mac & Cheese. Just over $30 which is not absurd for a 2 person meal in Marin. My girlfriend had the fries, burger and shake and generally liked everything. The burger patty seemed a little thin (they do offer a double but she went with the single), but by the end of it she was plenty full. She compared the burger sauce to a lighter, less fatty version of In N Out sauce. The fries were good although I'm not into sweet potato fries myself. She had wished they came with ranch instead of ketchup, though. The dairy shake was not super thick, which I actually liked -- and very good flavor. Not corn syrupy sweet like other fast food style shakes. For my meal, I had the sweet salad and macaroni and cheese. The salad was packed tightly into its box, but once I started going through it was plenty big. All the toppings (beets, dried cranberries, candies walnuts, goat cheese with raspberry vinaigrette) were very good, lettuce was crisp and fresh. At about $11 it's one of the priciest offerings but was a good value compared to other salads available in Marin. I would definitely order it again. The vinaigrette was strong though, so be careful before you douse the whole thing like a madman. The negative of the night, and unfortunately the bulk of my meal, was the macaroni and cheese. The portion was sizable and it was nice to see a nice bit of browned melted cheese on top -- this wasn't just microwaved. But the flavor was not at all there for me. Something about it just tasted weird, I was honestly questioning if they had given me a vegan or gluten free substitute by mistake. It wasn't very rich or flavorful, and whatever cheeses they were using didn't seem to go together well. It was fresh, hot and prepared correctly but the recipe just didn't jive for me at all. I ended up tossing it after a few bites. Overall Amy's seems like a solid, family friendly, affordable addition to Corte Madera's food scene. They serve some caloric fast food staples but it didn't leave us with a gross greasy feeling like most fast food. Being a mac and cheese head that definitely was a bummer, but I think once I figure out my personal order I'll be pretty stoked on it overall. read more

This location gets orders wrong in their drive through. The one in Rohnert Park never gets my order wrong and I've been there 30+ times. I've been to Corte Madera a couple of times and they get multiple items of my order wrong and left out items I paid for. They don't seem to care as much as the Rohnert Park location. The first time at this location they had a bunch of men dressed all business greeting people and it didn't feel genuine. It felt stuffy and businesslike. I guess that's exactly what it is. It's all about profit, and not giving a special experience with great food. The one in Rohnert Park gives a great experience from every detail. This place here misses every point. I guess there's a reason that there are never many cars in the parking lot or drive through and the other one is always quite busy. I'd have to really be starving and close by to come here ever again, while i frequent the other location. REALLY disappointing. read more

We were so happy to eat here. Perfect place for COVID kid friendly, affordable organic vegetarian food. Our entire meal was less than $35 including two burritos, one Mac and cheese and one single burger. There was a line (about a 8-10 min wait) but I went during peak hours at 6pm. Look, Amy's is the healthiest drive thru place around! I have a gluten, soy allergy. They ask when you order if it's an allergy or not. That means they likely go out of their way not to cross contaminate. So if they don't ask you TELL them! They can't read your mind. I've tried their greens smoothie, chai tea, lemonade, sweet potato / regular fries, pizza, Mac n cheese, chili bowl, lentil soup and burrito bowls, (miss them being on the menu). My kids love their cinnamon rolls too. I've also had Amy's burger wrapped in lettuce (when I knew k had my gluten allergy but before I knew I had my soy allergy) and it was hands down the BEST burger: juicy, messy, filling. I "believe" they can still do it gluten / soy free without the sauce on it. Just go there and ask questions and tell them what you avoid and it will be delicious! Stop harping on them about the Amy's brand OF course it's going to be the same type of food available at restaurants / drive thru. That's why we keep coming back. The staff are nice, kind and helpful. I've been in the restaurant when they were training a new hire inside and they were still calm, efficient and helpful. He remembers your name, your order, stories you've spoken about and with all of the people he meets daily this is amazing and worth mentioning. You can tell he truly cares about his job and he was made for customer service. He always puts a smile on my face and his positive energy is contagious. I work nearby and it can be stressful so when I need a pick me up I tend to come here for lunch. You get the best of both worlds, amazing food and spectacular customer service.
