Rice Noodle Bowl with Spring Rolls
    Katy A.

Great location for lunch. We went on a Monday. Convenient parking in the consolidated theatre parking lot but first floor very full. Lots of parking in the Whole Foods Market lot. All the traditional Vietnamese foods with the great ability to create your own combinations for all dishes. Good flavors but pretty standard. Generous portion sizes. Service a little lukewarm and generally had to ask for more - more napkins, more water. Very little explanation of menu or sauces offered. Maybe we looked like we knew what we were doing? Much smaller place than I thought it would be. Nice booth for our reservation for three. Overall very neat, clean and comfortable spacing for good conversations. Public restroom outside a little iffy. Restaurant very clean.

Delicious viet food in Ward area. Clean with minimal decor and friendly staff. IG and Yelp pics recommended the Canoe Bone Marrow so we made sure to order that. It was very good but you need to order a baguette on the side to eat it with. They were out of banh beo but we got the bahn xeo which was really good. I recommend the shaken beef salad too. Beef was flavorful and tender. Crispy spring rolls and pork banh mi were good too

ok so ...broth was lukewarm and was not beefy - we thought it was carroty ....other bowls coming out seemd steaming hot idk about the broth tho - so we just added lots of sricha to make it more appealing spring rolls were fine prices are reasonable portions are big but.....I was not pleased with the broth.

Bo Ne Steak. Vietnamese breakfast for dinner. GF and hubby agreed it was flavorful and fun to eat.

An Di Dzo did not disappoint! Planned to treat my girlfriend to a long-overdue catch-up session. Made reservations at 5 pm. When we arrived, we were the first guests so got to pick our table. When we sat down at the pretty wooden booth, there was a happy hour menu on the table. What?!? And YAY!! There was a 2-for special on the cocktails and you could select from the full menu which featured an extravagant and eclectic selection. There were wine and beer specials too but we were here for the cocktails. From the happy hour menu, we ordered the vegan spring rolls, chicken wings, and the Bo Ne Steak--a Vietnamese breakfast with bone marrow, cubed steak, sunny side eggs and a baguette. I can vouch for the spring rolls, light and crunchy without being oily. I don't eat land animals but my friend said the wings were divine. And they give you gloves to eat them. So civilized (ha) and a nice touch! She loved the bone marrow and steak. There was so much food she didn't finish it so I took it home to the hubby who devoured it. No complaints and only smiles from him! I wanted to try a couple pescatarian dishes from the regular menu so ordered the lemongrass clams which was AH-mazing! Could have been my favorite dish of the night because the flavors were unexpected but undeniably good. And, the garlic salmon bun (vermicelli noodles) was fantastic. The fish was cooked perfectly and the sauce was savory yet light. I've never seen this option at any other Vietnamese restaurant and it certainly elevates the traditional dish which usually comes with meat, tofu, or spring rolls. (You can still order the bun with these options and they let you choose your protein combos.) Finally, (I told you there was a lot of food) we ordered the banana blossom salad. I rarely see this offering at other Vietnamese restaurants. It's hard to describe but I refer to this dish as the red-carpet version of the green papaya salad. It's more dressed up and sophisticated. A real treat and a must-have if you're dining at An Di Dzo. Parking was easy since it's at Ward (by the theaters or you can park anywhere in the village). The restaurant is clean and modern. And the service was courteous and professional. Our server Alex was great and made the evening extra special. An Di Dzo is open for lunch and dinner. They also offer some vegan options so I'll be back. Hubby enjoyed the leftovers so much he wants to give it a dine-in try. You don't have to ask me twice! Highly recommend you give them a try, too.

Popped in to An Di Dzo randomly while walking around Ward on a random Wednesday night! The place was more than half full but we were able to be seated right away. They have very trendy seating styles. We were seated in a wooden booth. The booth chairs were so far away from the table, there was no way you'd be able to eat without sitting on the edge of the bench haha. But very spacious for 4 people! The waitress was prompt with bringing our water, taking our order and bringing our food out. They have a little lazy-Susan style sauce/condiment platter on each table which was nice for the pho. The food was actually very tasty! I enjoyed everything I ate. Which kind of shocked me, being that town is more of a touristy area and I wasn't expecting to get decent pho! Since they're located in the same building as ward theaters, there's an entire parking structure for you to park in, for free! So don't worry about parking. If you're in the area, I'd suggest trying this place out!

Located in Ward near Okayama Kobo, An Di Dzo is a small-ish sized Vietnamese restaurant. There is a parking structure in the building, which makes it convenient to park and head to the restaurant. The place itself is nice and has a more modern, barren, and clean feel to it. There are tables and booths to sit at inside. There are also a few tables outside. The people working were nice and prompt with everything. We ordered a few different dishes. I ordered the chicken pho, which was light and filling. The broth was tasty and there was a decent amount of chicken in the pho. We also got a chicken rice plate and the Vietnamese beef stew. The rice plate was flavorful and presented in a sort-of deconstructed way. The beef stew lighter than we are used to but still had strong flavor. The prices were a bit high but things can be a bit pricey in Ward. Next time, we hope to try a bone marrow pho or one of the desserts.

Love this neighborhood spot! Ordered their bone marrow pho with upgrade of the actual sliced bone marrow on the bone for additional $7. Also ordered their 3 piece spring rolls and small pho with steak and beef balls. Everything was delish! Love this place!

    Lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl

Delicious food in a beautiful atmosphere. Was shopping in the area and wanted something refreshing for lunch and a quick yelp search revealed An Di Dzo just around the corner. So glad to have stumbled upon this gem. We order a side of beef Pho broth ($5), 3 imperial rolls ($12), 2 tofu summer rolls ($10.95), and a lemongrass tofu vermicelli bowl ($17.35). Everything was just perfect. Broth was one of the best I've had, well spiced but not too intense or salty. The imperial rolls were my favoured type of fried spring roll: the rice paper wrapper has an unbeatable crispness to it. Summer rolls were packed with flavourful tofu and plenty of herbs which I appreciate. Also very generous with the peanuts in the sauce. And the vermicelli bowl...this was gigantic. Easily double the size of what most Vietnamese places serve. This didn't hurt the quality tho: well cooked fragrant chicken, abundance of fresh herbs and salad, with a great dressing. Only reason for 4 stars was service was t the friendliest: you could tell the sole waitress would rather be somewhere else. Despite this I'll defs be back for the food!

    Kathleen L.

Both the bone marrow infused pho and the regular pho with lean brisket and eye round were great! The bone marrow broth was noticeably smoother and more buttery, but I preferred the regular pho for its cleaner, lighter finish. The spring rolls tasted very fresh, though the portions were on the smaller side. Unfortunately, we ended up sending back the fried egg rolls. They were extremely skinny and slightly burnt. It was more like an egg stick than an egg roll. I don't mind extra crisp but the portion size for the price was hard to justify. Service is ultimately what cost this place a star. I understand how demanding service work can be, but feeling at least welcomed goes a long way. Twice during our meal we had to get up and search for our waitress. Once to request the veggies for our pho and again to sort out the bill. Both times, there was no real sense of acknowledgment or show of extra effort.

First time here and it was great! The ambiance is pretty casual, the service was on point, and the food was really good! Definitely a little different from the usual pho places that I've eaten at before but in a good way. They have all the condiments, and their house made chili oil was not as spicy as it looks! By the way, you can purchase it if you want to add it to your dishes at home. I'll definitely come back for more. I ordered the basic pho. The broth was flavorful. Next time I'll try the bone marrow pho.

lemon grass chicken sandwich and vietnamese ice coffee with condensed milk so more expensive
    Heidi H.

I haven't been here for years. I came when they just opened and did a takeout which was good. However, years later prices have increased and not as good as before. Spring rolls kind of tiny eventhough waiter said it would be bigger than the ward special imperial rolls. They were slightly crispy. The sandwich was ok but the pickled veggies were dry. I don't remember paying more for vietnamese ice coffee with condensed milk than for vietnamese coffee. Before it always came with condensed milk. Had to ask 3 times for lemon for water. My friend had the rice bowl and I tried a piece of her chicken. It was too salty. She did not even eat what she ordered. So sad. Service was still slow even after 2 tables finished. My friend said she went to their Chinatown location many times and was disappointed in what she had at this new location. Tables were dirty when we arrived and were not cleared for a while. We did have a nice time catching up but the portable credit card machine failed to provide receipts. The waiter had to reprint at another register. I could not even see the price of the individual items just a total with tax included, a bit frustrating.

Located at Ward near movie theater. This place was okay. They allow reservations but I didn't think we needed it on a weekday. The drinks took a while to arrive after we ordered but it was tasty, kind of pricy but I guess because location. My friend ordered their version of a bloody marry and it was very tasty with pho soup and their hot sauce in it. The chicken wings were okay, has potential. The spring roll was good but order was small. You are getting two spring rolls that are cut in half to make four pieces. The pho combination was good. Had a nice amount of meat. I just wasn't impressed by the soup. The flavors weren't as strong as I was hoping for, but still good and helped my pho craving. Staff were nice. Parking is same as movie theater. Place is clean.

It's 2:20 on the 4th. Aren't you supposed to still be open? We're only visiting for the weekend and my daughter was looking forward to pho

Stay open until the advertised time. There are multiple parties outside the door looking at the workers staring at us through locked doors. It's 2:20 and the advertised closure is 3.

I heard they will keep this space for special events. The restaurant is quite busy and I'm glad we had reservations. Good thing I was there prior to lunch hour opening, otherwise we may lose our reservations since the person who made reservations tends to be habitual in arriving late. We dined in May, but it's been awhile since I first dined here. I preferred dining in Chinatown during lunch time than at dinner. Our waiter was really nice and helpful. I forgot his name, but I remembered that his eyeglasses that he wore was cool/funny, since the frames for each eye didn't match the other eye! lol. Funny it wasn't me who first noticed it. One was square frame and the other was a round frame! The restaurant doesn't do anything special for birthdays except may write Happy Birthday in chocolate on the dessert plate that you purchase for the birthday person. Their desserts are unique and refreshing. I think there are some rotating desserts /flavors like their seasonal menu for their main menu. I guess you can always keep coming back without being bored of the menu! I was bummed to see a previous dish posted of a pasta that I wanted to try that wasn't on the current spring seasonal menu! When we dined for brunch over the weekend, I was able to get the Hainan chicken with the crispy roast pork combo. It was very filling , tasty and satisfying. I do love ginger sauce on the cold ginger chicken but sometimes the chicken is just okay. This Hainan chicken was really good and the chicken was really moist! I thought it was the best I've tried! It was good that I wanted to takeout one last time in August before they moved! No more the 50/50 combo with the crispy roast pork on the lunch menu during the weekday. It was on the spring menu. Of course it's best to eat it in the restaurant than for take out. Bathroom is a must for me when dining out and they had only one shared bathroom for everyone! There was a guy who tried to make several attempts but wasn't successful, since there was always someone in the restroom. I'm glad the waiter told me there was a bigger separate bathroom with several stalls for men and ladies upstairs. You go straight through the kitchen to catch the elevator and to another kitchen /storage area! Thank Goodness! Best wishes at your new location. You offer yummy and tasty food!

While the servers were nice, we did order ahead of time and showed up when the Beluga app (where we ordered off of) told us to show up, but I ended up waiting 15 minutes at the restaurant later than I was supposed to get my food. Additionally, the staff seemed to forget I was sitting/waiting for my food. My suspicion is that the online ordering service isn't actively monitored and our order wasn't started until I actually showed up to the restaurant to pick up our food at the designated time. The food was okay for us. I'm a big Banh Mi fan and was looking forward to eating their Combination Banh Mi, but unfortunately the Banh Mi seemed a little rushed in preparation and lacked flavor. My husband on the other hand, ordered their Combination Pho and it absolutely did not disappoint. Although their Banh Mi was not as delicious and flavorful as I expected, their Pho was the exact opposite of that. They give you a generous amount of broth and their portions of greens was beyond enough (maybe a little bit too much for one serving). The last food item to talk about are their Spring Rolls. It wasn't anything too special compared to your usual Spring Rolls, but I will say that their dipping sauce and everything else that comes with it (rice noodles, cucumbers, cabbage, carrots) made it so that you could easily make it a meal vice an appetizer. If you're looking for a cozy place to have dinner, their space was a bit crowded but if you're okay with then this place is good. Just be warned that their prices are a little bit on the higher side in my opinion and be prepared for long wait times to receive your order.

I thought to myself, Oohh if this food is good I would definitely come back because this place is a vibe. It has a bar area so it would make a good place to go for drinks after work. Unfortunately the sandwich price is on what I consider the high side and only because of the lack of meat. I think I would go back and try their pho but now I don't want to be disappointed

In this crazy rainy weather, we wanted something warm and hearty. We got here at 5 pm on a Thursday and got a table. We ordered rare beef pho, chicken pho, and their crispy noodle dish with chicken. My beef pho had a nice strong spice taste. I added hoisin and sriracha to my broth for a nice addition. The crispy noodle dish reminded me of cake noodles the way the chicken and vegetables were in a thick gravy. Service was easy and quick. They got our orders in quickly, brought the food out quickly, and got us on our way without being overly pushy. Parking is easy, plentiful, and convenient in Manoa Marketplace. Pho viet is located on the second floor and there are stairs as well as an elevator to get up. I like eating here when I don't want to go downtown and deal with lots of people. It's a quiet area and a big open inside space. There were tvs without sound if you wanted to watch something.
