My friend and I ate here to try the Pho. The staff were attentive and prompt. The pho was good, but I was honestly expecting a little more flavor or something different than other Pho restaurants. Prior reviews raved about the flavoring, so I was a little disappointed. However, we were there for 1+ hour chatting without any complaint or nudge from the staff to leave. We made reservations ahead of time but when we got there, it was empty so I forgot to mention that we had reservations. I received a phone call later about my reservation by the staff- asking if I was coming or not. I told them that we were there earlier and forgot to mention our reservation. I'm guessing they got busy after we left and was double checking to see if we'd show up. I've always wanted to check out this place so one night my gf and I decided to go there. Made reservations via Open Table which is very convenient. Just so happen when we got there, happy hour was still going on which is from 5pm -6:30pm. We ordered the crispy spring rolls, Vietnamese inspired charcuterie, 8oz cube New York steak stir-fry, and the banana blossom salad. Our server was friendly and gave us recommendations on what to order. For appetizers, the spring rolls were crispy and flavorful and the charcuterie board was good which included baguettes, pate spread, cha lua balogne, pickled carrots, cucumbers and mayo. Met a friend here for lunch and my friend had been here once and spoke highly of it. My immediate observation upon arriving is that the windows were dirty (considering this is an upscale eatery). Inside the restaurant, it also felt like there was room for improvement with the cleanliness. Chairs were mismatched with debris on them (friend had to dust her chair off before sitting). I asked him if he's ever gone to the new restaurant at Ward Village... The one that's related to Cuu Long in Chinatown. We all had never been there, so, we agreed: Let's try it! I phoned An Di Dzo and easily made a reservation for five people (my cousin, his wife, his son, my mom, and me) at 5pm - opening time. (They close for a couple of hours between lunch and dinner.) PARKING: We parked for free in the covered parking structure that's attached to the Ward Theater building. LOCATION: this space used to be Panda Express, right next to the former location of Big City Diner SERVICE: the young man was efficient and helpful. He said that there was no bartender at the moment, but he would be able to pour some beers. My cousin and his son had one beer each. There were a couple of female servers who also checked on us and offered to fill our water glasses! ENVIRONMENT: The high ceiling made the place feel spacious. It sure was clean and bright! For sure, it's safer than Chinatown! FOOD: my cousin's wife had the Lemongrass chicken Bahn Mi - she liked it! My cousin, his son, and my mom got pho. They gobbled it up - along with the plate of fresh veggies that they shared. I ordered the bun (vermicelli noodles) with spring rolls and pork. I enjoyed both the fresh and pickled veggies that I mixed together with the sweet sour chili sauce. It was just right on a warm September evening! Overall, we had a fun time eating and chatting! One of the best banh mi I've had! Stopped by for a quick lunch early on a Friday, around 1100, and it was perfect; quiet and chill with seating in abundance! I picked a spot and was promptly provided a menu and a smile; I ordered a lemongrass banh mi and a Vietnamese coffee, iced. It came out quickly and was legit brilliant! The flavors were amazing and quite delicious. As I was eating, more and more folks were coming in: couples, families, etc. There were enough seats and flavors for all, and everything looked so good. The cocktail menu was tempting but I had to drive right after so I'll have to come back. With ample free parking in the area, this is also a great spot because nothing is worse than being hungry and searching for a parking spot! Finally got to try this place. They have a very extensive drinks menu that I will go back to try next time. I ordered their main combination pho that's supposedly made w a 12 hour boiled broth. The portion was a of bigger than expected and probably bigger than a lot of other pho places. Though the broth didn't strike me as a 12 hour boiled broth since the flavor's not that strong. My friend ordered the lemongrass chicken cold noodles and the portion was really big too. But the lemongrass chicken tasted a bit like curry chicken. The spring rolls were decent but I thought there would be more. This is essentially just 2 pieces cut in half. But it's crispy enough. ***3.5 STARS*** When a foodie friend of Vietnamese descent tells you "This Vietnamese restaurant is good." You follow her lead. That's what I did. However, I did my due diligence prior to my visit. I glanced at their food pics and read a handful of reviews and concluded that I'm going for the food and not customer service. And, be warned if you order the bone marrow or beef bone pho for either no bone marrow or non-tender beef bones. And the reviews are quite spot on. Located in Ward Village with nearby neighbors of Ward Theaters, Dave & Busters and Bucca di Beppo Italian Restaurant, An Di Dzo (ADD) is the sister restaurant of popular Cuu Long II Vietnamese Restaurant in Chinatown. This restaurant is conveniently located in Kaka'ako with ample parking connected to the complex. Upon entry, you get that upscale vibe with glass windows, high ceilings, open kitchen, and a bar. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. All staff were wearing black. Impressive. We were immediately served water and menus. But after this, the wheels started to get loose. Our server was a young Asian male who wore a very wrinkled black t-shirt. I spoke with my foodie friend for suggestions as she has been here before and raves over ADD's food. I decided to trust the reviews and ordered Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup) but with glass noodles instead. Friend also ordered the same thing but with regular noodles and we also got the shaking beef salad to share. My other friends ordered the bone marrow pho to share. The restaurant was quite empty on a Thursday night, so it didn't take that long for our food to arrive. After taking our photos, it was time to dig in. THE VERDICT: Overall, I found the food to be quite tasty and to my liking. The flavors, texture and color contrasts hit the spot. My Bun Bo Hue was hearty and filling, but it lacked spiciness and the temperature hot broth that I like. Luckily, I was able to use some of my friend's ghost pepper sauté ($1) that she ordered. The Shaking Beef Salad was tasty and executed well. The sautéed beef chunks with onions were seasoned nicely and tender, and the beef sat on a green salad that was fresh and crisp. My food selection was so good that I'd order these 2 dishes again. However, on the downside when our food was delivered, we didn't have any utensils. We had to ask for them. Furthermore, we all had bowls of pho but no condiments nor plate of herbs and veggies. We had to ask our server. Keep in mind that the restaurant wasn't busy, and it took him quite some time to bring the plates of veggies and herbs to our table. ***birds chirping*** To make matters worse, all our bowls of noodles had errors. The server specifically brought out the Bun Bo Hue with "regular" noodles first and next the bowl with glass noodles. After sampling the broth and taking photos, including the noodle pull, I realized I got the wrong bowl of Bun Bo Hue as I had regular noodles. He ended up serving the wrong bowls. Rather than sending the food back to the kitchen because we had sampled the broth, we just switched bowls. Then, the other friend ordered the bone marrow pho but had 2 rib bones inside. She split this bowl with her husband and after distributing the food, she searched for the bone marrow and not to be found so she advised the waiter the bone marrow was missing. This error was corrected with the kitchen plated the bone marrow swimming in a plate of broth. Can the customer service get any worse? Our server was about to clear away the shaking beef salad when food was still on it. Then, while we were still eating our server attempted to have us settle the bill but we were still eating so we declined. Restaurant closes at 9pm and it was shortly after 8pm. Not fond of being rushed out like that. There was also confusion when we requested to arrange separate checks, but he advised us the Yelp check-in offer of 10% is applied only once per table. Overall, mixed feelings of my first experience dining at ADD. The food clearly was tasty, and I loved the ambiance, but reviewers are spot on with their comments on customer service. Despite such poor customer service, I still gave 20% tip. Perhaps management needs to better train their employees or do a better job screening their applicants to see if they can serve tables solo. I had the bone marrow and beef round pho which I thought was decent, broth was nice, noodles were hard more on the raw side of noodles, not to a better texture that I prefer. Mother's Day lunch with my mom and sis was complete with An Di Dzo. We went in early to avoid the crowd. We ordered the crepes, the combination pho, and the pho ga. The crepe was crisp, chewy, and delicious. There was a thin layer of pork and three shrimp. Came with a fresh mix of pickled veggies and fish sauce on the side. We quickly then received our bowls of pho as well. The bowl are a great size. All of the toppings (basil, cilantro, onion) are in the bowl already. The basil oil was amazing and a nice touch to the broth. Speaking of, the broth was a bit heavy but clean. Everything tasted really good. You can order more sides and veggies, but I don't think it's worth it. Also the lemon grass paste was THE flavor bomb of the meal. Great on all of the different types of meat and even the crepe. If there's 50 Vietnamese restaurants in Honolulu, we have probably tried 49 of them. We had absolutely no idea that this was a Pho joint and was pleasantly surprised when we walked by looking for a quick dinner. We ordered the combination Pho, Vermicelli with lemon grass and spring rolls. Of course we always order an extra side of spring cuz it prevents spring roll fights. The spring rolls were fired to perfection,with a filling that had meat but also perhaps taro potato? Whatever it was it was delicious. My hubby had the pho and I was only given a small piece of tendon. I judge a pho by its tendon and this melted in my mouth. For being a new restaurant it's expected that I have a small yet comprehensive menu. We were intrigued by the Lobster Pho and the Bone Marrow Pho.. we will need to comeback on date night without the kids. Our second visit to this place yielded yet again some dishes that we were pleasantly surprised with. Did you know you can order a mini bowl of Pho for $10ish dollars? You have the option of "topping or add ins" like fatty brisket ( get this!), tendon and raw steak to name a few which would still total up a decent amount t do pho to $13-14 dollars. The summer rolls tasted super fresh! The star of this dinner show however was the pork banh mi which we decided to order mid meal and I just wanna say it slapped! It was the deliciously marinated sliced grilled pork that stole the show. The waiter informed us that the pork can be ordered with a rice plate and/or on vermicelli noodles. I could seriously just order a side of that pork and take it home to eat as a snack! The baguette was legit because it had that light crisp crunch on the crust and that perfect chew. I wish I ordered 2 sandwiches because my son decided that it was his new favorite dish and ate most of it. The prices were on trend at $80 minus tip for 3 bowls of pho, summer rolls, spring rolls and a banh mi. But my go to is the double beef bone pho which comes with hardy, fall-off-the-bone rub bones. Another good selection is the bone marrow pho which comes in a more umptuous broth and slices of eye round beef. The appetizers are pretty standard, although I'd like to come for a Pau hana with friends and try their viet charcuterie board special offered during happy hour. I came here for restaurant week food a go go. You can choose 4 items for $22 which is great since they're smaller portions and you would be able to try several items on the menu if you're going with friends. We called ahead to reserve outside seating and we did ask if it was ok to bring our dogs if we ate outside! They said yes without hesitation so we quickly booked our next monthly foodie date here with my fellow dog mamas. The service was friendly and we actually took forever to order because one of my friends was running late but the server was really cordial about it. Now to the food. I am actually half Vietnamese and my dad used to co own a Vietnamese restaurant (it's still in business today) I chose the crepe and the bo kho for my two entrees. The crepe was a decent size with shrimp and bean sprouts. It was kinda oily than it usually is and instead of full lettuce leaves where you wrap your crepe in, they use shredded lettuce. I also ordered the beef stew. It was also on the oily side. I didn't eat the meat as I happened to be stuffed from the crepe and the iced coffee. But a friend mentioned it was a little tough. My friends got the sandwiches and pho. We were a little skeptical about chicken pho but my friend actually enjoyed it. Another side note. Just a little past the corner of Men's Warehouse, you'll find An Di Dzo facing Auahi Street. It's a little small on the inside but the decor and atmosphere were very tasteful and made good use of the space. The kitchen is on display and you could smell the alluring fragrance as soon as you walk in. I ordered the bone marrow infused eye round pho and the flavor was great! An Di Dzo (cheers) to APIH Month! What a delicious way to start the month by celebrating at this fusion Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of Ward! I'm also grateful I got to catch up with my friend and fellow Yelper, Donna O. at this restaurant as it was both of our first time dining in. We arrived right at the opening on a weekday night and were sat immediately. Reservations are available online but are not necessary. To both of our surprise, they offer a happy hour menu! Happy hour runs from 5:00-6:30 p.m. Tuesday-Friday with discounted food and drinks. We took advantage of the deals and ordered Spring Rolls (Regular or Vegan) and Fish Sauce Chicken Wings! The Regular Spring Rolls were cut in half, the outside was crispy, and the filling was plentiful. It came wrapped in lettuce with pickled vegetables and a sauce on the side which I felt balanced it very well making it not too oily. The chicken was fried nicely, the meat came clean off the bones, and the sauce used was savory. Now, the real reason I wanted to try An Di Dzo was for their Banh Xeo which is a dish I've always wanted to try but could never find it! The Vietnamese Crepe Banh Xeo had char siu, shrimp, beansprouts, lettuce, and pickled vegetables on the side. On my first bite, I was hit with a crispy, delicate, chewy, and golden brown crepe. It was savory from the protein yet light and filling. One thing I wish is that it came with lettuce instead of shredded lettuce. The servers also didn't give us a sauce which I guess is recommended for this dish--too bad I didn't know since it was my first time trying it! The dining room inside was simplistic giving me a chic Vietnamese restaurant vibe. There were a few wooden booths, several tables, and a full bar to sit at. They have a few tables outside and the bathroom is located outside as well. Service was attentive and accommodating as we had a few questions and requests. If you're looking for a modern take on Vietnamese fusion then give An Di Dzo a chance! They use fresh ingredients, the service is friendly, and the location is great as there's free parking all throughout Ward. The food here was good. They have pho soup noodles, rice dishes, banh mis, egg rolls, and plenty of salad options so there is something for everyone. However, service was veryy slow. On top of that, our table placed our individual orders with the server and he didn't write anything down. Later, he came back and asked us all again what we ordered. This took even more time to get our food. Half of our table got their food first and they were almost done eating, then the other side got their food. My first impression what that the young man interacting with customers didn't want to be there. Before venturing off into a menu shopping spree I elected for the spring rolls and the broth. Always like to see how the basics are done. To describe both as unappetizing is an understatement. How this place stays open with such performance, is a miracle. Also, interesting spring-roll dish in they assemble it on the tiny pieces of lettuce for you with a tiny sliver of cucumber, a teaspoon worth of pickled vegetables, and no real care. Judging by the quality of the ingredients I assume the intention is to cut down on what's used, giving me the customer the minimum while still displaying some effort. Tiny taro pieces in a spring roll? Doesn't work. The spring rolls are extremely tiny and tasted freezer burned, and other than that, no real taste. Also overcooked. Lettuce was not completely fresh. Total $16 fail. Even the fish sauce was just bleh basic. No real care or anything to remember. The broth I could not bear to have more than a couple of sips, no taste other than pure saltines, and it was the beginning of the day, so it should've tasted fresh and amazing, I know at other places it sure does. Really did not enjoy my experience here, will stick to some of the classic places I know in the area and leave this one for the tourists. I didn't appreciate the young man's crappy attitude and stinkeye when I walked by outside, he made it a point to try and mad dog and behave as a child, presumably for not getting a big tip, and probably lucky for him that was the extent of his disrespect, but YOU are supposed to take ownership of your work, YOU are supposed to offer VALUE for a tip, SERVICE with professionalism and PRIDE in your food. He didn't even check on my table or ask how the food was, the place wasn't even busy. As they laughed behind the counter, I could only imagine that it was because of the joy from ripping off people with such horrible and overpriced "food". I was actually so shocked after I left that later in the day I checked out yelp to see what other people had to say and sure enough the exact same complaints. And to see how the owner replies, so defensively and without care or empathy to the customers just here on yelp, tells me what I need to know. Making excuses for the mediocre broth by saying the customer is used to Northern style, southern style, etc., and then name dropping like 20 years ago is relevant today, NO!!! you are messing up and need to take ownership! You broth is NOT good, not what I had Saturday morning and you have every tool and opportunity to fix it! It's not about northern or southern style, go to Los Angeles , I'll take you to Westminster and Garden Grove and I'm a black guy and I'll show you the spots that are amazing and nobody is talking about northern or southern style. They make stuff that works that the customers enjoy and they make millions and millions of dollars selling broth. Period! Lastly, the menus are not laminated and are DIRTY! Like literal dirt and food stains. You think people enjoy this? First impressions are everything. Here's some free advice- You need to hire a manager and/or a business coach and take some responsibility and pride. Was excited to use my gift certificate here to try out the yummy dishes at this new restaurant, and we got a feast: - $14.50 for Pho with my favorite 3 choices of meats (rare steak, tendon, and tripe), with a unique basil oil floating on top, and with all veggies already inside so I don't need to use my hands to drop them in! - $13 banana flower salad, interesting, light, though the dressing was a tad sweet; - combo rice plate, with BBQ chicken and pork - tasty and generously sized, for my kids, plus it came with a Salad; - combo noodles, with Vegan spring rolls and tofu, which my husband enjoyed - a super refreshing dish for hot summer days; - $11.50/$12.50 bahn mi stuffed with veggies and meats and lemongrass chicken. I always love this fresh and light Vietnamese sandwich! Extra points for its free, accessible parking at ward and that there's outdoor dining, especially during covid spikes. I had to try the bone marrow pho which is something different. First off I should say the restaurant name doesn't scream Vietnamese food but don't let that confuse you (at first I thought it might be Italian!). Also it is hard to believe this used to be a former Panda Express. The new look is more modern and upscale. Ok back to the bone marrow pho! It comes with a big piece of bone though I have to say the marrow on its own is rich but if you mix it into the broth it gets lost so just eat it straight. The beef was a bit odd as I'm used to nice thin slices but it came as a clump. The broth had good flavor. Overall I appreciate offering something different but I'm not sure it is worth the higher cost vs regular pho. Good to try but next time I'd get something else. The other food I saw on other tables looked good so it is nice to have another Vietnamese option in the Ward area besides Piggy Smalls. read more

An Di Dzo is in the former Panda Express or Big City Diner (can't remember which one) location in Ward below the theaters. There's lots of parking in this area by the theaters or in the Whole Foods lot. My friends and I decided to sit at one of the tables outside. I ordered the pho with brisket, which was perfect for the windy weather. Our waitress was super kind and provided us with all of the condiments we asked for, such as the hoisin sauce. The broth was flavorful and my brisket was soft and flavorful. I'm so happy that there's a Vietnamese restaurant in the convenient Ward Village. Let's eat and drink: An Di Yo! Reminds me of my husbands family constantly clinking glasses with Mot, Hai, Ba, Yo! Happy to have An Di Dzo join the Ward area of restaurants, especially with Piggy Smalls slipping away. They have really good chicken wings, like huge ones with crispy skin and all the yummy sauce. Very tasty. Pho is good, pretty standard. But the best part was the Thai Tea ice cream. It's like they took the tea, froze it, blended it and bam! They don't have it all the time though. The staff here is always friendly and attentive, which makes every visit enjoyable. I love coming here because the food is consistently really good--I definitely recommend the beef rib pho, it's full of flavor and always hits the spot. We started with the banana blossom salad and it was delicious. I would come back just for that. The Vietnamese crepe was ok, probably wouldn't order it again. And the rib bone pho is a must. Service was a little slow but they were very friendly. Ambiance is nice and clean. read more

Well, I was the first one there and still got bad service. JB says he has only been there for 3 days and admittedly didn't know much about food or menu. He tried hard. But still needs loads of training. Hard to believe people don't train. Just put them to work. Sink or swim! Hope the Pho is better than the wings and the wagu sliders. read more

Reservations are available via the Yelp app, but at 5:39 pm, walk-ins we're available as the place was empty on this Thursday evening. It was unbeknownst to us that we arrived during happy hour (5:00-6:30 pm). Lucky for us! Spring rolls were $7.50 instead of $9.95. As first timers we tried different items- Combination Pho, oxtail pho, and lemon grass chicken with rice. We had hot and cold jasmine tea and 2 different cocktails. Service was fast. The place is clean and the employees are friendly. I had the rare steak pho and the broth was really tasty. My mom ordered the vegetarian pho and the broth was really tasty, for a veggie dish. I'll definitely be back to try their other dishes. They are located not to Ward theater, where panda express used to be. read more

So... how do you pronounce this place? Cause same, same LOL. It's "An Di YO! (Dzo)". Taken directly from their menu, 'An Di' = Eat, and 'Dzo' = Cheers! This restaurant is located in the section near the Wards Consolidated Theaters, around where the old Panda Express used to be. The interior of the restaurant has an industrial feel. Kinda concrete colored with earthy wood tones. Simplistic yet modern feels. We had a reservation on a Tuesday for 5pm (Aug 2022), an early dinner. We were like the only ones in there LOL. Our server was a younger guy, kinda monotone. He did try his best but it was apparent he's pretty new. We shared some appetizers. The 'Summer Rolls with Peanut Sauce' (Goi Cuon), 'Shaking Beef Salad 4oz NY Steak' (Bo Luc Lac), and 'Vietnamese Steamed Rice Cakes' (Banh Beo). The Summer Roll was pretty standard. I wish it had included herbs like basil or cilantro. There was mint in there. Nothing super remarkable. The Shaking Beef Salad was recommended by the server. Initially we wanted to try the Banana Blossom salad, but that might've been a more interesting adventurous option. The beef was marinated well and had a lot of flavor, which was enough for the whole salad as there is no dressing on this. You could also choose 8oz of beef for an up-charge. The Steamed Rice Cakes kinda reminded me of a DIY rice paper/ steamed rice noodle situation. The batter is put on a small porcelain dish, then toppings are added (chicharron, pork, shrimp, garnish). Along with fish sauce/ nuc mam and scallion oil. Our garnishes included cucumber and an herb. This was kinda messy to eat as it was cooked into the dish and needed to be scraped off. I opted to hold it like a taco with the chopsticks. My friend mixed the filling first which was smart, I did not LOL. So my bites included separate ingredients unincorporated. I took the left over fish sauce from this a poured it into my pho. I had the 'Pho Dac Biet' Combination Pho. It came with a plate of bean sprouts, basil and saw leaf. Oh! My friend had gotten the 'Steak, Marrow, Sunny Eggs, Mini Baguette' (Bo Ne). The baguette is cut in a weird way LOL. Like, on the menu it said "in half". So we assumed like hotdog wise along the baguette. Like those french bread sandwiches. But it was cut into like 2 logs/ icebergs... Kinda difficult to try and cut the bread into little slices to eat with the proteins without a knife. It was a struggle. A small recommendation may be to have little slices of the baguette. Or to even include a serrated knife for the customer to cut their own baguette to their liking? I also got the 'Monkee Cocktail' (Gin, Tonic Syrup, Banana Liqueur, Seltzer) as they had a 2 for $22 cocktail special running at the time. Sadly there was no bartender when we ordered our alcoholic drinks. And the server wasn't of age to make the drinks. So we waited on these through ordering and appetizers. The bartender arrived later on. She made and brought us our drinks. I found it kinda strange that the ice in the Monkee cocktail was a long rectangular block that was the length of the whole glass. About an hour after we got there, the restaurant got more busy and filled up with customers. Dining inside, outside and take out orders as well. This poor server was kinda doing everything by himself. Maybe 6 tables inside and 2 outside. He did have some help from the bartender but she left later on LOL. Sink or swim, trial by fire bro. I hope you're nonflammable. I did notice the two people at the table next to us gradually lose their cool over trying to wave the server down and get their check. After we paid, I told him I wanted a receipt. But the machine he used to swipe the cards had run out of receipt paper. He opened it and changed the roll. Then that was it, I never got a receipt LOL. Yenno, nothing was really memorable about all the food besides the Shaking Beef Salad and the weird long ice in the Monkee drink. Maybe things are different now? Hmm... read more

Really odd because we've dined at your restaurant maybe half dozen times and food has always been very good and service friendly. Gave them a second chance after visiting when they first opened and I'm glad I did! They added on a lot of another dishes since opening! I thought their Bun Bo Hue was really yummy! We came at a good time because we didn't have to wait long and service was quick. A very nice place to stop for some pho if you're in the area! read more

FOOD: 2/5 my friend hyped this place up and said their pho is rlly good. he lied it was mid. Bookmarked this spot to try and finally had the chance to go down. Located in the old Panda express spot (?) in ward underneath movie theaters. The area is currently being developed so there is a bit of construction on the road nearby. You can park in the theater parking pretty easily - it may be crowded on Tuesdays since there are $7 movies. I made a reservation the day before and we were able to sit quickly. There was actually no one there when we checked in so I was a bit worried. It seemed really dead and the staff was eager to serve us. They have happy hour till 6:30 and it includes some discounted appetizers and 2 for $22 cocktails. We started with the spring rolls and some cocktails. They have a pretty good menu of craft cocktails - my friend had the one with pho broth (!!) and I tried another specialty one. The happy hour deal is really good since you can get any two drinks for $22 - so we chose the $16 ones. My drink was ok - I wish it had more flavor to it but my friend really liked her drink. Don't remember the names but mine had gin and hers had tequila. Spring rolls were tasty but a small portion. I also ordered bahn beo - a rice cake dish that I once had in Vietnam and have never seen at any local restaurant till here! I was excited to try it. It came really fast after we ordered but it only came with two dishes. It wasn't quite like what I had remembered having in Vietnam - it was topped with some pork and shrimp topping but it was just alright. I think I would skip this dish next time. For our main dishes, we each chose a pho - I got the 3, 2,1 with meatballs and brisket and my friend got the combination. When they brought it out, they said that they had the one with fatty brisket - I thought that was mine and they had just made a mistake but halfway through our meal we realized that we had the wrong orders! We ended up swapping meats and keeping our soup...I wish they had just said that one was the combination one. The pho was good but not phenomenal. A light broth and the meat was good as well. The serving size was also huge and we both took a good portion home with us. I would have liked if they offered a small and large size as the size we got was a bit pricey ($16-18) and huge! We could have easily shared. All in all, our experience was okay. Service was good although our waiter was a bit pushy in the beginning since we were the only diners. The vibe is upscale and their cocktails are cute. I guess you're paying partially for the vibe especially being in ward. Would give this 3.5 stars. read more
