I finally was ready for monthly house cleaning and wanted to start by treating myself to a clean space for my birthday coming up in a couple days so I reached back out to Ana. This time she brought 2 women with her. Great I thought. But I couldn't have been more wrong. She was a hour late but communicated so I was still ok at this point. Backstory- prior to her arrival I spent the whole morning (7:30-11:30am) doing laundry, changing my bedding, and doing dishes. Major issues right at the start. If you book Ana make sure to micromanage every aspect so you don't end up like me. I don't know why one of her helpers thought seeing a made bed with folded items on top needed to be touched. Especially without asking and confirming. They threw my freshly cleaned bedding and pillows on the dirty ground. Then proceeded to waste time putting a quilt inside a duvet cover. None of this was discussed or requested. I went to Ana and expressed my concerns, frustration, and issues with my bedding being removed and thrown on the dirty ground. I asked Ana to ask me before doing anything extra that wasn't requested in my quote. Then Ana chose to put some dirty dishes away causing me to now have to rewash a good percentage of my dishes. This happened right after I asked her to speak with me before doing anything extra, I did not request dishes to be done. Now my kitchen sink is dirty and filled with 4-6 hours worth of loads. I am going to have to spend 5-6 hours redoing the laundry of my bedding. And I'm going to have to run multiple loads of dishes causing hours of extra work I had already completed. Frustrated the helper put all my clean pillows on the floor but couldn't move things off the floor to actually vacuum the entire space. I really do not understand. I requested tile a grout cleaning on my bathroom floor, that was not done. There were still black markings I specifically asked to be cleaned still on the ground. Ana did such a great job on my last place but quality has changed. I wouldn't even be writing this updated review if she actually would have done what was asked, or removed the extra charge for tile and grout cleaning, or maybe gave a discount for being late and causing me hours of work to do since my bedding and dishes are now dirty because of her and her helpers. I am not sure how all this cost me $165 but I paid her to be done. Book at your own risk. I would NOT recommend. She was better when she first started out. read more

Update regarding the owners response: Aside from advertising a flat fee, no "additional" costs were ever talked about. Which I would have been fine with if she communicated. So in addition to the unprofessionalism and flaking, the owner refuses to take accountability and is being dishonest with the response. I have all the communication back and forth with her . She was on her way at 1:30, I left the door open for her as I was at my storage unit with the movers. At 2:18 she messaged there was too much stuff. I attempted to call her back right away mind you and she let it go to voicemail. So I already knew she wasn't quite up to the task as she mentioned having to pick up her soon by 5pm in her text before. She texted there was simply too much stuff so she could not clean so I told her she could cancel as I did not want her cleaning and not doing a thorough job. Then my landlord charging me extra on my security deposit due to the lack of thoroughness. DO NOT HIRE if you are looking for honest, upfront and professional. If you're looking for a "professional" cleaner. Ana is not the one. It was moving out day for me and needed a professional cleaner. She came and told me there was too much "stuff" and it would take too much time. We are talking little things left behind by the movers, dishes I still needed to clean. You know? What a professional house cleaner would have typically worked around. Did she expect a clean house already to clean? Mind you, I live in a studio. LOL. Needless to say, I was left in a bind.
