Double Trouble with Bacon and Sausage (might have forgotten to add the sausage in ours)

Some of the best burritos I've had were breakfast burritos and I was excited to try from a place that literally has it in their name. The menu is simple and you can customize by adding more meats for a higher price. The thing that really caught my eye though was the garlic tots. We ordered one burrito with sausage and bacon and for the price, I was expecting it to be a bit bigger. Instead, we got something that was long and kind of skinny. Definitely not enough for two people to share but just enough for a single person. The garlic tots were the best part of the burrito and I hope one day, they'll offer it a la carte. It's kind of cheesy so watch out if you're lactose intolerant. And I saw bacon bits but didn't see or taste the sausages so that was a disappointment. It was a good burrito but it didn't completely meet my expectations. I'm not sure if they just forgot the sausage or if they put in tiny pieces but either way, we didn't realize it until we left. The sauces are all very good, especially the orange one, so make sure you grab a couple of each from the sauce bar.

I was here to try the breakfast burrito. Served with tater tots - this was very potato forward. So much so I was wondering where the egg and bacon was. The flavor is good but they pre-mix everything and chop it up, it's almost like they are chewing it for you. I also think this is a way to skimp on the meat and eggs. If you like a LOT of potatoes and a little meat and egg, then this is for you. The flavor is good and their red sauce is incredible but it's just not my style. It's like it's a kiddie burrito. They also serve sandwiches- the menu looks great and grilled cheese - so this probably is a good place to bring the kids. It's a small restaurant with tables but it's primarily take out. Staff was friendly. It's not your classic breakfast burrito- it's basically a tater tot burrito. I'd come back and try their sandwiches next time.

I was so excited to try these breakfast burritos with all the glowing reviews...nope. Not good. Maybe ony the ones with meat are good? I got the Classic, which just has eggs, cheese, and garlic tots - and I added avocado ($2.50). I feel like there should have been a good amount of avocado in there for $2.50 but alas, what there mostly was was cheese. So.much.cheese. I didn't taste garlic, any tots in there were mushed in with all the rest of the mush, and it just wasn't good. I was able to eat some of it because of the salsa (make sure to grab you own at the salsa bar) so it gets 3 stars for not being inedible. Thank Cod for salsa! But I had to wait a LONG time for this burrito, and another customer tried to claim it - I had to fight for it, basically. There was only one person waiting there when I ordered, and his took forever too - I feel bad for those who came after me. A madhouse, around 10:30 on a Saturday morning. I also wanted to get a Pineapple Crush but it has yogurt in it and apparently it is all pre-mixed so I couldn't get it without. Disappointing. Parking was easy, so that was good! And maybe if I had ordered in advance and not waited so long for the burrito, I would not have been so disappointed.

This place is so clean, the side sauces are so good and they have so many options. The women who took our order was so nice, I didn't get her name but she had glasses. Great service, the burrito was amazing 10/10. Parking was easy, right out front.

I ordered the bacon surprise burrito and I guess the surprise was that there was hardly any bacon inside. I didnt taste any garlic on the tots. Not an ounce of authenticity. No beans on the menu, no tomato based salsa and they taste like they came from a can. I tried the recommended jalapeño salsa. It would go better on a burger or a hot dog. The sweet taste doesn't go well on a burrito. I dont like bad reviews but this food was not to my liking. The best part was the friendliness of the workers.

A small but vibrant breakfast spot with breakfast burritos that pack a lot of flavor! Service was quick and there's a salsa bar to jazz up your meal to your heart's content. The Sausage burrito was definitely my favorite, though the vegan meat breakfast burrito was also delicious. Well-seasoned, but texturally, it's a bit one-note. There were some cute merch on display for those who'd like to represent! I was tempted to purchase some myself, but resisted the urge. Definitely worth a visit!

First thing to do check in 15% off. If you're looking for grilled cheese it's only served after 11am. Burritos tightly wrapped served sizzling hot. Evenly spread with eggs and meat. Garlic tots and not too cheesy. Great flavor and good salsa. Choice of chipotle or green salsa I prefer the green.

I stopped by on a Sunday morning and ordered the Sausage Delight. The size of the burrito was bigger than I expected it to be. The green salsa is good but my favorite is the one that looks and tastes like chipotle aioli. There can be a bit of a wait time, it seems like a lot of people order for pick up so if you're eating there I'd recommend not to sit by the door, there's lots of in and out traffic. I asked if I could get my burrito cut in half since I was sharing it with my sister, they told me they couldn't. Which was a bit disappointing, not sure what the reasoning behind that is. They have utensils out but no napkins. You only get the napkins they give you with your order.

I absolutely love the concept. Breakfast Burritos in the am, Grilled Cheese sandwiches for lunch. Stick to a limited menu and you can try neat quirks with your food options. Sell bottles of beer to survive and stay in business from the areas high rental rates. I was stuck in freeway traffic and needed a quick break to recharge. This place was spotless. My initial thought was it's the cleanest location I've eaten at in several years then worried that maybe they lacked clients and would soon go out of business. Bathroom was clean as well which is unheard of in South Oside. Decor is bright and fit the concept. Prices were fair. I wasn't a fan of the garlic used but appreciated the attempt to try something different in a standard morning Breakfast burrito. Won't make my Top 25 places to eat a SoCal Breakfast Burrito but I'll return because of the location, convenience, service and cleanliness.

This place is mid at best and always take at least 20 minutes for a simple burrito. Don't come here if you want something fast. The guy with the beard is also kind of rude so might just want to avoid this place overall . read more

We have been here twice now, and the experiences were pretty different. The first time we went was a Monday when it was slow. The burritos were ready fast, were large in size and absolutely delicious. The second time we went was a Sunday about 11am. They were SUPER busy. I placed the order online and had to wait about 30minutes for our order. When I received it, we were short a burrito (ordered 5 total) No big deal - I let them know and they made it for me. Had to wait an extra 7ish minutes for it. When we got home the burrito they made last was missing the garlic tots. The food was still good, just missed that extra crunch. All in all this is a solid burrito spot, just would recommend to go during a slower time, maybe not brunch rush or not on the weekends. We have had the bacon, turkey, and double (with bacon and sausage). The salsa bar only consists of three salsas, our fave is the jalapeño lime and second choice is the chipotle cream. The chipotle maple isn't bad, just not our preference to have that spicy sweet taste. read more

Awesome breakfast burritos and they're really big. I think two people can share one. They have an online presence so you can order online before heading out to get your food. They seem to be pretty busy in the AM hours so manage your time properly. I think I was scheduled for like 20 minutes and they took a little longer than planned. No big deal, but in case you're in a rush, just be prepared. The burritos all seem to have eggs and garlic tots. Then you can choose several meats to add on. I got a bacon one and a regular one. I dunno how many eggs they put in one burrito but it's a hefty size. It also comes with two sauces. I think like a chipotle and some green one. Both seem to pair well with the burritos. read more

I'm a breakfast burrito gal - so when I stumbled upon And Breakfast Burrito on Yelp during my late night scrolling - I knew I had to try it out. Im in town for 2 days at Legoland. I spent the entire day fueling on a churro and popcorn bucket. So by the end of the night, I was starving - hence my late night Yelp scrolling. Restaurant was spectacularly clean. Customer Service was excellent. He was so friendly. If my husband had been with me, I'm sure we would've gotten the Three Meat Burrito, but since it was just me and my daughter, I went with the Sausage Delight. Love the packaging - it's the little things that makes a business stand out to me. The Sausage Delight was, hot, fresh and delicious - even with the 10 min ride back to the hotel. Definitely have some breath mints handy because those Garlic Tots are strong. Perfect amount of ingredients in every bite. I recommend trying all the sauces. Hard to pick a favorite. My husband is from SD and we make the trek down to visit family and friends every once in a while. Will definitely recommend About Breakfast Burritos to everyone. read more

Ordered the sausage burrito. It's was super greasy. Tasted like cheap products were used to make the burrito. They give you two small salsas and want to charge extra for additional ones but I didn't ask for how much. The red salsa was terrible and sweet. Nice people but terrible product. This place is great! The name(s) were the initial draw for me, when I came here with my girlfriend we tried the bacon surprise and the triple threat. Both amazing! Food tastes great, it took some time for the food to come out but it was well worth. Got the caramel frappe as well and it was good. I'm not from around but I'll be stopping back for sure, it's a vibe. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. 40 minute waits, telling all customers 7 minutes. They only make 1 sandwich at a time. Other employees are all waiting on one sandwich maker. Absolutely ridiculous that they are just too mom n pop. Too many other great places to go with much cheaper prices too. Seats are too painful to sit on as well. read more

I really love the burritos here. But I would get them more if they had better salsa options. I feel like salsa matters especially in SD. That would be so great if they made a better salsa. My wife and I tried Breakfast Burritos the other day. We were driving down the PCH in Oceanside and saw their cool sign. The place is small and super fun inside. They have 3 tv's playing custom cartoons that are entertaining. The owner Justin super fun and talkative to all the people rating. Enough about the place, let's get down to the food. The breakfast burrito is amazing! I had mine with sausage and my wife did sausage and bacon. They have a garlic potato or tater tot in them as will. So, good! We liked this place so much we are going tomorrow for the grilled cheese sandwiches. Must try, you will not be disappointed. read more

This is the best breakfast burrito I have had in years. Everything is fresh, from the ingredients, to their bright comfy space, amusing logo and friendly staff. I stuck with the basic burrito for my first order. The eggs were fluffy, cheese evenly melted, garlic tots flavorful but not too overwhelming, and tortilla was soft and slightly moist. Also folded to perfection, tight enough so you can eat it in the car without the wrapping but not too tight where the ingredients spill out from the pressure. Kudos to the owners for keeping it simple and delicious. The one 1 star review on here is a bunch of nonsense and not even about the food. I can't wait to go back and try their other offerings. I was happily surprised to find this coffee shop and will definitely go back and even get coffee beans there.

The kid grabs my drink and spills it on the counter and on the floor. She sees this. It's right in front of her. She says oh no that's not yours. Then she wipes it off and tries to pass it off to me like I didn't see. I said no, you're not going to re make it? She goes no, it's not my fault he spilled it. I was like I want a refund. She goes why. I'm like the drink spilled and you didn't even offer or try to remake it. This place had really gone downhill. Service is awful. The donuts look nice but they've been sitting out and are stale. The same with crossaint I had. I would not go back here anymore. Awful experience. Drove out of my way to come here today. It's a shame. This place used to be really friendly and fresh and top of the line customer service, Management needs to rework things before they completely go downhill but it seems they are already there.
