Evens was a great server and helped us get all the toppings we wanted without rushing us. Super helpful and nice! Love &pizza and the food it provides. I wish there were more toppings choices, but other than that it's great! Will always come here when I go to DC.

    THE FARMERS DAUGHTER
    Card M.

I ordered the farmers daughter pizza, and I will tell you, I was blown away. I was on a short trip and I did not have any expectations of this pizza but when I took the first bite, I fell in love. I recommend it to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat. It took around 10 minutes to get my pizza. The service was pretty good, they made to sure that the customers were taken care of. There is not many seats indoors, so i recommend grabbing a spot indoors when you see an open seat!

    Pepperoni and pineapple pizza

Extremely small and cramped inside, and it seems some people just come in and sit there all day. It was also wildly hot and stuffy, despite it being in the 40's that day. I assume because of the small space and amount of people, it's difficult for them to clean, so the one group table was very dirty. Staff did not seem to want to talk to anyone and would point at the kiosk instead of taking orders (despite there being a sign that said orders can be made at the counter with an arrow). The menu looks fantastic, tons of options, lots of customization, but the food was very basic. The crust was fluffy and a golden brown, but the sauce tasted like tangy marinara and was sparse. Toppings in general seemed lacking compared to the bread. The pizza tasted more like something you would get in a cafeteria- not bad, but not something to order twice.

Had their pizzas recently and they are super delicious! You can customize them as much as you'd like for the same price using current promotions which is great! They come out fresh, delicious, and well topped. Staff are friendly and work efficiently!

I ordered a pizza online and went to pick it up earlier. My pizza was supposed to have pineapple on it in addition to other toppings, but unfortunately I couldn't see the pineapple and didn't taste it either. If toppings are unavailable in that location, I thought they would've taken them off the app for availability. When I arrived at the store, I was greeted and said I was picking up an order and they said they were still working on it.... I'm not sure if the person was new or not, but they didn't seem super confident when working on my order.

My fiancé and I were leaving the area and decided to stop by for pizza. We're huge fans of &pizza, so we already had our orders in mind, but wanted to check out the menu for new signature items. Here's what we had: me - CBR (chicken, bacon, ranch) he - AMERICAN HONEY Both pizzas were delicious. We took our orders to go because the place didn't really have much room for more diners. The staff was friendly. (Too bad the customers weren't.) __ I eat. @f.hux I thrift. @DCthriftish

American Honey pizza & hot knots
    Josh R.

Great fast casual pizza! I ordered the American Honey pizza without the goat cheese and arugula. We split the hot knots, and I had a sugar cookie. The pizza had a ton of flavor and was delicious! The hot knots were pretty good too. The cookie was just okay. Just a heads up this location doesn't have much seating, so you might need to take it to go.

Don't be afraid of the long line at lunch. It moves quickly. Outstanding pizza for the price. Highly recommend.

Totally worth the craze. Good, big portioned personal pizzas. Plus every tenth one is free if you download the app.

    Do they take cash?

    Yes, we do take cash.

    Do they take reservations?

No reservations required. It's a quick service style place. Walk up, order at one end of the counter, pick up at the other. There's very limited seating on a first come first serve basis.

How many can one pizza serve?

I can eat the pizza myself even though they cut it into 8 slices and they are small. If you are not a big eater you can share it with a girlfriend. If a big eater like me, one pie one person.

How long it takes in the oven?

It takes about 5 minutes, maybe 7 minutes tops. It is really fast, like Chipotle. Just as fast as that, only seeing them make pizza, instead of tacos.

Look, I enjoy my animal proteins quite a lot thankyouverymuch, but I have earnestly been transitioning to a more plant-forward diet due to a number reasons (hey, probably the same as yours!). Mosty I admire how the best plant-based chefs can make their recipes flavorful and filling...because it's literally more difficult from a scientific point of view (glutamates, etc.)! Over the course of two lunches and dinner offered by Simply Vegan, I can say that Nikevia really topped the charts in terms of wonderful vegan chefs. The multi-course menus were hearty, fresh, FLAVORFUL and delicious without feeling heavy at all. She had a wonderful touch with flavored waters (yes, she even flavors them better than anyone I've known!) and personal service. I very much hope that I find the occasion to have her cater an event that I organize! Or, at the very least, that others will take this review as a serious endorsement of her cooking chops. Super crispy! The spicy ketchup was the perfect condiment. - Generals Chick'n (Taiwanese fried plant-based Chick'n, tomato, seared broccoli & scallions with generals sauce): Overall, I liked this dish- the chick'n was perfectly crunchy and tender, the sauce was flavorful, and the signature rice was well-cooked (in fact, I regretted getting half salad/half rice instead of full rice). However, the sauce was a bit too gloopy and sweet for my taste, and the broccoli didn't seem super fresh. The ambiance is good: lots of seating, nice view of the city. MITA may have ruined that plan for the future. From the moment we walked in, we were completely taken by the space. It's warm, cozy, intimate and just has that feeling that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. The service was equally impressive, especially Hugo behind the bar, who was friendly, welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable. The cocktails were fantastic, but I have to give special mention to the wine selection. There are some really interesting and unexpected wines here, and Hugo made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. Now, full disclosure: we did not eat on this visit, so I'm not going to pretend to review food I didn't actually taste. BUT... sitting there watching plate after gorgeous plate come out of the open kitchen definitely got our attention. And here's the funny part: my partner and I are not vegan. Not even a little bit. We are probably several zip codes away from vegan. Yet we left MITA saying, "We absolutely have to come back for the tasting menu." That says something. I've seen some of the negative reviews, and based on the experience we had, I'm genuinely surprised. All I can say is that our visit was wonderful, the hospitality was fantastic, the atmosphere was beautiful, and what we saw coming from that kitchen looked amazing. So MITA, consider this our official warning: we're coming back, we're booking the tasting menu, and we're bringing our very non-vegan appetites with us. Five stars for making us want dinner when we only came in for drinks. See you soon!

Here's how I see it:…read more MITA delivered a dining experience that felt thoughtful from the first course to the final spoonful. As someone who does not typically gravitate toward vegetarian/vegan menus, the meal felt especially fresh and quietly innovative--proof that vegetable-forward cuisine, when handled with this level of intent, can be just as compelling, layered, and satisfying as any traditional tasting menu. Opting for the Camino Corto menu proved to be a well-judged choice. Paired with the supplemental arepas, it offered a generous and satisfying progression without ever feeling heavy. The arepas--served with guasacaca, cashew sour cream, and chontaduro butter--were an excellent addition, setting a warm, flavorful tone and easily standing as a highlight on their own. From there, the menu unfolded with precision and clarity. The picaron with persimmon, lúcuma, and huacatay was playful yet composed. The arracacha with fava beans, plantain, and mushroom dashi brought depth and umami-driven warmth, while the watermelon ceviche with white soy, cilantro, and quinoa delivered brightness and balance. The malanga course offered satisfyingly to-the-perfect point chewy texture, and the arroz con gandules--pigeon peas, sofrito, and sea beans--managed to feel both comforting and refined, a balance not easily achieved. Dessert, a modern bienmesabe with coconut sponge, coconut praline, and pineapple sorbet, closed the meal with elegance and lift. What stood out most was how seamlessly the kitchen elevated vegetables beyond expectation--never as substitutes, but as the main event. Each dish felt intentional, expressive, and complete. Service mirrored the cuisine in its composure and warmth: attentive without intrusion, polished without stiffness. There is a quiet confidence throughout MITA that allows guests to settle in and fully engage with the experience. This is the kind of restaurant that shifts perspective--where even a dedicated omnivore leaves not missing anything, but instead discovering something new. Respect to the chefs and the entire team for a meal that was both elegant and deeply satisfying.

Updated Review (previously 5 stars) due to poor management response:…read more Management has changed since my last visit, and boy, this place is not what it used to be, and that makes me sad. About four years ago, I happily gave this restaurant 5 stars and recommended it to others. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was the complete opposite. During my meal, I discovered ANTS actively crawling around my food. (See video) It was disturbing to watch them around the sauce next to my meal, and I immediately stopped eating because I no longer felt comfortable consuming the rest of it. What disappointed me even more was how management handled the situation afterward. It was extremely difficult to get in touch with the manager despite multiple attempts. When I finally spoke with him, he refused to provide a refund because more than 30 days had passed since my visit. Given the nature of the complaint and the difficulty I had reaching management, I found that response completely unreasonable. I also raised concerns about being asked questions during my visit that made me feel racially stereotyped. Those concerns were never acknowledged or addressed by management, which only added to my disappointment. Because I believed this was a legitimate food safety issue, I filed a complaint with the Fairfax County Health Department. After investigating, the inspector informed me that they visited the restaurant, discussed my concerns with the manager, and that the manager confirmed my reported ant sightings. The Health Department also required additional pest control measures. Beyond the service issues, I also noticed a significant decline in the food. The wonton soup was bland and lacked the rich flavor I remembered, and the General Tso's Surprise tasted off and was missing the depth and spice that used to make it one of my favorite dishes. This restaurant used to be one of my favorite vegetarian spots, which is why writing this review is so disappointing. Based on my recent experience, the difficulty in getting in touch with management, and their total lack of customer service or care for loyal customers, I can't recommend dining here. They do not care about their customers based on how I was treated.
