***ONE AMAZING THAI PLACE*** This is a Thai place that offers amazing Sushi & Pho! Hence the name Asian Bistro. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very nice Thai ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress - Vivian was attentive and fast! The food presentation was a solid 5.0! That had to be the best Pad Thai I have ever eaten! The Sushi was fresh! The seafood in the Tom Yum Ramen special was fresh and amazing! ***EAT HERE***

Tiger steak or something like that..I don't remember the name but it was cooked to perfection!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience was good; corner of the strip that doesn't look too busy but right off the main road![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our service was attentive...but the food!!! Food was phenomenal. Usually, when we travel to other towns, especially beach towns, pho restaurants are more of a miss for us, but I'm glad Andaman was a hit! It's a Thai restaurant serving variety Asian food, including pho and sushi, but everything, again, was delicious. I don't think my family of 5 left a crumb on our plates! And the prices were great!

The best Thai fried rice each time we go it's more amazing. Great service. Two locations in St Augustine.

We stopped by on a Friday afternoon and were seated immediately. The food was excellent--we ordered the house sushi rolls, pho, red curry, and drunken noodles, and everything arrived quickly.

This is a hole in the wall place in St. Augustine. Both food and service was great at this place. It was our first time here as my wife read about this place on a restaurant magazine when we visited for the weekend. The green curry was one of the best I have had in a long while. And we eat a lot of Thai out in Atlanta but this was better than most in terms of the green curry. My wife loved her drunken noodles too.

Came in rushed on my lunch to order some pho to-go it was an interesting encounter. I say this because I have been to this location a few times to dine in. Today when I came in the woman who took my order was not too friendly. The steak pho was $18 same price as the Andaman in the shores. (That location is always friendly, very attentive whether the order is dine in or to-go) Not bad also got an order of fried gyoza which was $11 crazy too expensive when other places in the area are cheaper, and tastier. My total was $29.70 I paid $30 cash and wasn't given my $0.30 change. Personally I don't care if my change is $0.01 please provide my change unless otherwise mentioned. The mere thought of someone assuming their servive is top notch that they can keep my change is bad business practice, and on that basis alone I won't be back.

Loved the vegetarian fare here. Friendly service, and the Mango sticky rice. Umm. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Wow, this place was yummy. Nice decor, kind of Asian combined with American Millennial style. Only slight distraction was the outside area looked slightly messy... We had a lovely, attentive waitress. The food was the best part. Friend had salad with a FABULOUS ginger dressing and Tom Kha Soup with bowl of rice. I got the same lovely salad and Crispy Grouper.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This restaurant wasn't far from the hotel I was staying at so I decided to stop in for dinner it was quit busy and had a lot of people popping in for take out orders, which was a really good sign![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I place my order and was disappointed the food was not to my liking the dumpling noodles looked and tasted fine but as soon as I cut them they fell off the meat inside. The meat in the noodle was not good quality there were multiple pieces of cartilage in them. I did not finish those. I had the tiger cry which is a favorite of mine I always order it whenever I see it on the menu. Worst I have ever had. The Sauce is what make the tiger cry if you've ever had it. This was just off and if you look at the picture closely you can see lumps of what tasted like instant cold gravy that they couldn't be bothered to mix. I will be not be returning.

    Beauty and the beast

Absolutely incredible experience -- 10/10! Traveling from south Florida for the night of lights. We visited this Thai restaurant in St. Augustine (on Anastasia Island) and were blown away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food is phenomenal, the ambiance is warm and inviting, everything is spotless, and the staff is incredibly friendly and fast.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Honestly, some of the best sushi I've ever had. We loved it so much that during our short trip to St. Augustine, we ended up coming back a second time -- it was that good. The yaki soba noodles were amazing, and the sushi was next level. Location: It's less than 10 minutes from the lighthouse and the beach/pier area, and only about 13 minutes from the St. Augustine Historic District (Castillo de San Marcos put in maps). Super convenient if you're exploring Anastasia Island. Our Favorites: * Beauty and the Beast Roll - absolute must-try * Andaman Roll - incredible flavor * Honorable mentions: St. Augustine Roll and A1A Roll We totally plan to come back on our next trip and try the pho as well. Also, exciting news -- they seem to be opening a sister restaurant called T. Smith Asian Bistro soon. Can't wait for that! Highly, highly recommend

We took a trip to St. Augustine And noticed there wasn't many Asian cuisine We saw Andaman Asian Bistro And little did you know, they also had some pho I got the house special pho The presentation was good but that was all there was to it though The larb Thai salad was a little bit better But it was not like I'd crave it ever All in all service was not too great Slow, and pho came out so late

We started with the crab Rangoon and fried shumai, both perfectly crisp, fresh, and full of flavor without being greasy or heavy. Every bite was well-balanced and clearly made to order. The highlight of the meal was the Baitong Lobster. It was beautifully cooked, tender, and infused with rich flavor that made it the standout dish of the night. Easily one of the best seafood dishes we had during our trip. Overall, the quality, presentation, and execution across every dish were excellent. This is a place that delivers consistently strong food and is well worth a visit when in St. Augustine.

If you're into Thai food, this place is worth finding. The atmosphere was chill and comfortable, nothing over the top but it felt welcoming the moment you walked in. Our waiter was genuinely helpful -- not in a rehearsed way, just actually attentive and knew the menu well. That alone goes a long way. We ordered the thai fried rice and pad see ew, both were really good. The flavors were on point and the portions were solid for the price. Nothing on the menu felt overpriced, which is refreshing. We also grabbed a few appetizers and they held their own, but the rock shrimp absolutely stole the show. That was probably the highlight of the whole meal -- really well done. If you're passing through or live in the area and haven't been, it's worth checking out. Not flashy, just good food at a fair price with people who actually seem to care. That's all you really need.

The hummus plate was insanely good. The burrata sandwich with prosciutto was a perfect summertime lunch, and the steak sandwich was also great even though my boyfriend only let me have one bite. Here's the revised review with your additional comments incorporated naturally:…read more I wanted to love Forgotten Tonic because the menu looked unique, but unfortunately this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we've had in St. Augustine. First, the seating. The tables are unusually tall, making us feel like little kids trying to sit at the adults' table. It wasn't comfortable for anyone in our group. Then there were the lights. They continuously blinked above our table, and it was so distracting that we asked to move. Unfortunately, the second table had the same issue. I know St. Augustine is famous for its ghosts, but I wasn't expecting them to be playing with the lights at 7:00 p.m. while the sun was still shining! The biggest frustration was ordering. We were told menu items could be modified, but after placing our order the server kept returning one item at a time to tell us they actually couldn't make the requested changes. It would have been much better to know that before ordering. The pickle appetizer was another disappointment. Based on the description, I expected a pickle-forward appetizer. Instead, it was mostly kimchi, pickled onions, and other pickled vegetables with only five slices of actual pickles. I honestly don't have the words to describe how disappointing that dish was. I was also excited to try the tzatziki green beans, but the crisp pickled green beans tasted more like fermented green sticks than an enjoyable side dish. The baked Brie arrived with what I initially thought was melted cheese inside the croissant, but it turned out to be undercooked raw dough. Imagine my surprise when I realized I had just taken a bite of raw dough. I actually started feeling sick before we even left the restaurant. My younger son ordered the house root beer, which tasted extremely watered down. He also had the pasta with added grilled chicken, but the chicken was dark meat, overly shiny, and completely unappetizing to him. I ordered the non-alcoholic Velvet Slippers mocktail. One sip was enough--I honestly can't find the words to describe how unpleasant it tasted. My friend ordered the steak sandwich and requested the peppers be left off. After ordering, she was told they couldn't accommodate that request, so she had to pick the peppers off herself and still didn't enjoy the sandwich. My older son ordered the lamb sirloin. Even though lamb is often served medium-rare, this was so rare it looked like it was still bleating. We paid our bill before dessert because my stomach was already upset. I ended up making one last stop in the restroom before catching up with my family, who were already halfway down the street, ready to forget Forgotten Tonic. Sadly, this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've had. Between the uncomfortable seating, blinking lights, inability to accommodate simple modifications, disappointing food, and getting sick before leaving the restaurant, we won't be returning.
