This place has de-throned Green Papaya and Libby as my favorite Thai place. Both of the others are still very very good. Just personal preference that I like Andaman better. I'm a bit obsessed and eat there a few times a week. My favorites are the pad see ew and yellow curry. They are always careful to omit nuts for me. The food is just as delicious in the restaurant and delivered to my house. I also love that they have boba tea and Thai coffee. Ample parking. Outdoor seating. Very pleasant staff. Hooray. read more

We loved the food, service so much that we went there thrice during our stay. They have a little of everything - Sushi, Thai, Pho and a very elaborate menu. Claudine is the highlight and is very friendly and knows what she is doing and extremely hospitable. One will not be disappointed here. Since I received an email from Yelp claiming my review has gotten complaints for it being false I figured I'd expand on my experience. It's been a week now and I am still battling food poisoning from here. I've eaten sushi all over the world and the sushi that came on my 7:11 sushi boat was just not fresh. It was Slimy and definitely had a poor quality about it. I ate a few pieces and said to my partner that it just wasn't great. A few hours later I got the typical symptoms and have been out of commission for a week. I hope that clears it up for those of you who claim my review was false. I have been eating massimon curry for many years in many different restaurants in different states. What I had tonight was a big disappointment, there was something not right with the bowel placed in front of me. I mentioned it to my server, who informed me she was indeed sorry but she was just the server. I thought was an odd statement as I did not say anything to her serving ability, just the food wasn't tasting right. A few moments passed a gentlemen came to the table and said I could order something else but they were not taking off the curry dish off the bill and asked if I wanted to take it home. If it was too bad to eat there I certainly was not bringing it home. I asked for the check, all I wanted to do is leave at that point. I received the check from my server, she said that they were taking off the curry dish. I paid the bill, as I was leaving another gentlemen came to the table and asked what was wrong with the curry dish. At that point I was hungry and frustrated, told him it didn't taste like any curry have had, and left. read more

Ive returned several times to Andaman bistro after trying the other "Thai" restaurant's food. Without a doubt, this is the best in St. AUGUSTINE. The sushi specials always amaze, fresh and creatively presented and a great value. My wife likes the beef pho, but as I dont eat beef, i like the chicken broth pho. I also recommend the drunken noodles w ith talapia, a new taste for me. If youre watching your calories, pad thai or virgin (dry) noodles would be a better choice. Service is excelent, ask Minau or Quan if you have any questions. read more

Small, quaint sushi and more restaurant. my wife and I are from out of town and weren't sure where to go. the menu looked very good and we were so glad we went. the service, suggestions and interaction from the server was phenomenal. the chef came out and made sure our food was great and it was. the sushi was top notch and plated beautifully. the calImari was so fresh and crispy. the soup was awesome as well, portions were bigger than we were used to also. would recommend this place to everyone and we will be there again soon. again, great service and mom and pop feel. highly recommend. read more

We ordered Pho and Shrimp tempura.The pho was ok but the shrimp tempura that came with vegetables which included sweet potatoes,zucchini,onion and broccoli were not as tempura should be.The breading was hard where it should be crispy and light.The broccoli was not even cooked through.Our server was not friendly.We had to ask the other waitress for our check. read more

Was not impressed. The curry was watery, and my soft shell crap was very fishy tasting. I also had the KC Salmon rolls wrapped in cucumber which were good but they were sitting in a pond of ponzu sauce so I had to force myself to finish the last three as it was too much sauce. The service was a wait so that was no bueno because they had an actual fold out table dedicated to their take out which was packed. So I'm guessing it's the place for takeout. I love Sushi and my husband loves Thai so we would give this a 5/10. read more

I'd been craving curry all week and this place happened to be around the corner from my friend's house, so we gave it a shot. She got tofu pad Thai, and I got chicken massaman curry. We both loved our food and the portion sizes were generous (with really affordable prices)! It hit the spot. The service was very friendly, too. Since the new owners took over, the place has really took a turn for the better! The menu is extraordinary including a side Menu with the best Sushi you will really enjoy. My wife always scarfs down the Beef Tripe Pho, and I always try different things, from Seared Salmon to Sushi to Pho and sometimes Soft Shell Crab. If you indulge in Spirits, they have them too! This review is strictly for delivery, i dont know what the inside of this place looks like first hand i can only comment on the sushi and pad thai and salmon we had delivered. the portion was so huge we thought we would save the rest for breakfast, we did, and there was still some left for early lunch too. My pad thai was full of flavor crystals and many different textures, i like crunchy, and the bean sprouts and crushed peanuts really hit the inner cereal eating kid in me. I don't leave review most time, but I'm kinda pissed today. The restaurant seems popular. Three of us was arranged for a single table with an extra chair. I ordered a sashimi for appetizer and it came almost after my friend finished his pho, and it did not worth the price at all. The pho was warm, which supposed to be hot. The massaman curry was good to be honest. There were small ants climbing all the time. After all, the restaurant took automatic gratuities for around 20%. read more
