The pumpkin curry is very creamy and tasty - needs more pumpkin as despite it coming in a half of a kabocha bowl, it didn't have enough kabocha chunks to split between two of us. You can't go wrong with the pad Thai - it's a standard and hard to err with this one. Lemon grass chicken was the one dish we would all skip - it needed to be more savory than sweet - and we could t taste the lemongrass as the sauce was quite thin and not flavorful. Really like coming in here for either lunch or dinner; service here is very friendly and accommodating! They do take reservations and save tables, so it might look like they have availability but actually expecting customers. Such delicious food. Decided to have a late solo lunch. Decided on the lunch where I can choose two substantial items. This lunch also comes with a coconut chicken soup. That was light and creamy with shredded soft chicken and mushrooms. The big plate comes, and it has bbq pork with a sweet dipping sauce. Great portion of pork. My other dish was their yellow chicken curry. They simmer the curry for hours, and the chicken is falling apart. Also tge plate had a decent green salad and perfect rice. We tried a few new dishes last night and they were really good. Panang Nur-this red curry with tender beef is a new favorite of mine. The curry is full of flavor and slightly spicy. It's filled with tender beef and chunks of carrots, peppers and onions. Sizzling lamb-this lamb and onion dish came out sizzling on a hot plate. The thick savory sauce had peppercorns and tasted really good. Ginger fish-lightly battered tender fish with mushrooms, peppers and onions was enjoyed by our group. I honestly can't describe how amazing the food is here! My boyfriend has done all the picking up, we live about 10 mins away so the food comes back home fresh and hot. We desperately wanted to eat Thai curry with no coconut in it. We had couple of our favorites in Foster City serving Forest curry and sadly they are closed now. But found this little place in Danville and they had vegetarian option available in garlic sauce with sautéed veggies. Food still good but service was lacking this time. Haven't been to the restaurant in a while but went in to dine. We reserved seat and got a table right next to the door. Saw several tables open and asked a waiter (non Asian young man-sorry only way to describe him) if we can move to a more inner table. He kind of mumbled that those were already reserved. However, we had reservation as well. Also, we were there so shouldn't they have tried to accommodate us as well? Anyhow, he said he would ask and let us know. Saw him do his thing, but he never got back to us. Didnt want to make a fuss so left it alone, but seemed like they didn't wanna give us the tables as they were maybe reserved for "regulars". We have eaten at the Andaman Thai in Walnut Creek and totally enjoyed the food. We took out from this new Andaman in Danville last night. We were all very disappointed in the food. Except for the Gang Jurd soup the rest of the dishes were flavorless. The fresh rolls with tofu were skimpy and mostly lettuce. The eggplant was supposed have ginger-there was none. There was a small amount of eggplant and a ton of green peppers. The noodles in the Drunken noodles were so overcooked they were like mush. The shrimp in all our dishes did not seem fresh as they were mushy as well. The pineapple fried rice had barely any cashews and little to no vegetables. The tofu claypot was ok but again lacked flavor. I am sorry to say we will not be back at this location. read more

We just had dinner there tonight and we're very happy with the food and the service. Phenomenal spot for Thai in the san Ramon/Danville area! I did takeout and everything was so tasty and fresh, all the dishes had their own unique flavors and the portions are very generous. I was here with a group of 8 people from work. We were seated promptly and given menus, and glasses of water promptly. Note that this is a pretty small restaurant, so it was a bit tight today. I should also mention the parking can be a bit tough as well. It took a few minutes to find a spot. Most of the people in our party ordered the lunch combination special for about $12. I got the chicken curry dish along with fish cakes. We were all served promptly and the service was fine. The combination plate also comes with soup and a small salad. I thought the chicken curry was fine, but the fish cakes only so-so. I would pass on the fish cakes. The combination plate also includes white rice. It's $1 extra for brown rice. We have been going here for a while, the food is mediocre . We would go there more for the ambiance of a quaint small town restaurant that is in local town. We have a service animal which she always comes with me since . The manager the other day that knows us well all the sudden told us we had to sit out of the area we usually sit because of our dog which is all of 7 pounds, very well behaved, even without asking to verify her card again .They are very unprofessional and very offensive and we will not be going here again.
