I'm a fan of their buffalo chicken pizza, and they make some pretty good subs also, in their salads are top rated

Andreas has always been consistently decent food, as far as a take-out pizza joint goes. However, my latest experience was awful. I had delivery, and upon seeing my tip on the receipt (credit card), the driver turned around, took the cash out of his wallet and threw it at me, saying it was a joke. Apparently Andreas drivers don't understand that tips are based on the quality of service, not a required contribution (unlike the flat delivery charge that was tacked on to my bill). Unfortunately for Andreas owners (presumably much better businessmen than their driver), his actions reflect poorly on Andreas. Equally unfortunately, I work for a large hostpital IN winchester, so this story will most certainly make it's way around to 100's of employees in the hospital and impact future ordering decisons. read more

For a very short period in my life, I lived right around this area and Andrea's Pizza was my normal go-to place. They had great everything. Pizza, chicken wings, it was just an exceptionally good pizza/sub place that never disappointed. Now, you wanna hear something REALLY extraordinary? Excellent service and food here. It's located on a fairly busy corner, but you can get parking within a short walk. The family atmosphere and smiles on their faces no matter how busy is fresh and appreciated these days. My favorites so far are the Chicken Ceasar salad and wrap version. The steak version is also nearly as good. The cheeseburger plates here are a lot of food and value. It comes with salad and fries and double patties. Andrea's 'Za is solid. I grew up in Winchester and have been ingesting their 'za for years with no ill effects. This to me, is what a 'za joint should be: Family owned and family run. This Greek family seems immortal -the same peeps there since high school (I am now 51 years old). I don't know the family tree but I think most all are family here. They are very much veteran 'za and hoagie makers. Never a screw up or any bad vibes from these cats. I have been going to Andrea's pizza for probably 20 years very good I like the staff very courteouslately because of the coronavirus they leave their phones off the hook which I'm not too happy about it takes you forever to order anything which again like I said I'm not too happy about I love the idea of supporting local small businesses but honestly if they're going to take the phone off the hook so you can't order anything I'll start going somewhere else I'm not going to wait a half an hour to order something I said out in front of the store waiting in my car but God knows how long to order my dinner that is a bad business practice totally unacceptable so in the future I will be going to another restaurant to get my dinner so sorry that I have to write this bad review but it's the truth I am fed up with waiting to order my dinner read more

This place is just amazing!!! If you have not tried their calzone, you my friend.... are missing out!!!! Must try the buffalo calzone and also the chicken pesto calzone, it is simply the best calzone I have ever had, so much flavor!!! Will definitely be back to try other things in the menu! read more

Had to say thank you to the guys at Andrea's. Having lived in the area for 10+ years and driving past Andrea's hundreds of times, we were turned onto trying them thanks to another review on Yelp commenting on their Steak and Cheese Calzone. Truly superb food -- both from the quality of the ingredients (most notably the steak that went into the calzone), to the taste of the final product(s). We also got a Buffalo Chicken Wrap and were very happy with the taste of the end product. I can't tell you how many times we've tried Steak and Cheese Subs/Pizzas/Calzones from other establishments and when you bite into it you get an overly fatty piece of steak, or something that just seems very questionable as you are chewing it (and you almost don't want to know what you are eating) -- this WAS NOT THE CASE with Andrea's. I have no doubt we will be very soon to sample other items on the menu. read more

andreas is a winchester staple for a reason. everyone hangs out at andreas!!i do not like their pizza ill just say its very greek pizza with the dry crust, but thats just cause i like italian ( wetish) pizza styles better. their subs are awesome- italian toasted is great. they make the best steak tips with this amazing rice with jasmine in it or something, so good. you wouldnt expect a pizza place to do good steak tips but they really do. i dont like their fries but again its the style i dont like i like the double fried version. they make awesome HUGE calzones. everyone who works there is really nice and fast with your food, even their salads are fresh and great. i always call in my order because they are usually mobbed. they never get my order wrong.they are open late too for winchester standards haha one or two in the morning i think.. prices are great, they give you a ton of food. and they let you substitute fries for rice with no extra cost which i like. they close for about two to three weeks every years so they can all take a family trip to greece. im lost without them and heartbroken, i think a lot of people in winchester are. read more

On the one hand, the taste of the pizza is lovely, but on the other the bottom of it has always been extremely soggy to the point of unappetizing. The service seems to take forever even when you call ahead and everything on the menu is atleast a few dollars overpriced. If that pizza didn't come home wet, i could deal with the rest, but it does and makes me not want to go back. read more

I Love Andrea's!!! I grew up down the block and had a craving to head back to my hometown for some delicious Andrea's. While refreshing myself on their Sunday night hours I noticed some surprisingly bad reviews and noticed that the main picture for Andrea's is actually the Andrea's in Woburn not Winchester. I've eaten at both and there is a huge difference!!! The Andrea's in Winchester is so much better and I wonder if some of the bad reviews should be for the Andrea's in Woburn. Someone else noticed the issue with the picture and posted a photo with the caption "The real Andrea's in Winchester" but it's buried in the photo section. You'd need to actually click on the photos to see it. I've sent a comment to yelp to have it changed. Andrea's has the best subs and wraps ever! If you like Greek pizza you should go here. Their pizza, subs, and appetizers are so good I've never tried anything else on their menu. The service is fantastic! It's family owned and operated and everyone in the family is so sweet. read more

Grew up in Winchester-Andreas has been around for 40+ years. Came back to visit and they reminded me why-they make an awesome pizza! It's very cheesy with crisp but not too thin crust. Ordered our family standard-sausage with mushroom and it did not disappoint. Manager still remembers me even though I only visit about once a year. Andrea's has quite possibly the best greek and Italian food in town. Famous for their Pizza and Subs, and now introducing their Grrek Salads and Wraps. I love their Wraps the best and you can get anything you want made into a wrap. They also have brownies and chocolate chip cookies from Babies Chips and a large selection of sodas and boxed salads. They have salads they can make for you too. Local Delivery for subs, wraps , salads, and pizza is available. The staff has owned Andreas for 30 years + and once you come in you'll be treated like on of the family! it is a great place and Stephen King once came in for a sub. read more

Of Nick's, Espresso's, Pizza days and this place Andrea's is by far the worst. The pizza is greasy and the service is terrible. They once forgot my order when I was one of two tables in the restaurant. Are you kidding me? The delivery takes forever, it was never less than 45 minutes. The pizza also just is not that good, they don't use good ingredients and it shows in the pizza. I would literally prefer Domino's pizza to this place. This is hands down the best take out pizza I have ever had in my life. I've lived in Chicago and CA and have had lots of experience w/ lots of different pizzerias. I mean, it's America, who hasn't?!? With the exception of it not being chicago style (which is quite possibly one of the most sublime foods on the planet), the pizza at andreas is unbeatable. Nothing local even comes close. Not having grown up in NE, I hadn't had much experience w/ Greek owned pizza places (even in Chicago). They get a really bad wrap around here from what I've heard from locals. Pizza may be of italian Provenance, but once again, I'm sorry to say, it seems the Romans must yield the place of honor to their souther, sea-faring neighbors. Let me summarize w/ two words what makes this pizza so exceptional (and what those who don't like it will likely point to as it's greatest flaws): cheese, olive oil (ok, technically, that's three words, but you get the idea). The amount of cheese on Andrea's pies is in all the best possible ways, absurd. On top of that, its quality cheese too, not the hydrogenated dairy substitute that confounds far inferior alternatives (read, Dominoes). But I think what does it the most for me is the olive oil that's glazed onto the dough before baking. Putting olive oil ONTOP of dough?!? It's shear genius. Not only does this give it a subtle yet deep mediteranean essence, it actually kind of fries the first several thousand nanometers of the top of the dough a little. Amazing. It's like funnel cake and pizza got drunk at the ENKA (local insider reference) fair and conceived a child atop the ferris wheel. The folks there are super courteous. Despite how busy they get, they've never so much as looked annoyed with me or any customer that I've ever noticed. Of course, if you can't decide on the meat lovers or supreme, split the baby and have your pie half and half. No problem for these guys. On top of the pizza, the apps and other items on the menu are all quality goods. The wing dings are perfectly done: dark, crispy coating. Jalapeno poppers? check. also good. For the nutritionally minded (kind of), the greek salad is large, reasonably priced and very good. The price is always right here. For under 20 bucks you get a large one topping and you can easily add a small side. Get the pizza alone for around $15. The large will easily feed a family of 4 and probably leave some left overs. You can keep your Upper Crust, CPK, Bertuccis, North End, or wherever else you think has the best pizza. Andreas is it. No questions asked. read more

YUMM-O is all I have to say! I usually try to avoid fast food at all costs, but since my boyfriend is your typical bachelor and refuses to do grocery shopping for his place, we end up getting take out here on a regular basis. My favorite item is the Greek salad with grilled chicken, but Italian dressing instead of Greek - holy garlicky amazingness! I swear, I get this salad just for their homemade Italian dressing, and what's better than having a reason to order a salad? The salad itself is also great - tons of super fresh vegetables, very generous amounts of feta, and absolutely delicious grilled chicken. The first time I ordered that salad I felt like I had found the holy grail. And if you're looking for something not quite as healthy, but possibly even more delicious, some of my other favorites are their tortellini and ravioli dinners (with extra cheese and eggplant, mmm...), gyros, CALZONES, and really everything else on the menu. You can't go wrong with Andrea's. Also, the staff are all very nice and get to know you and always make sure to ask how you're doing, etc, etc... all those nice things you'd want/expect from a family owned business. I love their calzones and although I've never tried one of their subs, everyone in my family seems to enjoy them. I'm not a fan of their pizza, but this is a great place overall to either sit in and have a meal or to order delivery from. My only beef is that a couple of the guys at the register come off as rude and unwelcoming at times. Edit: I had to drop the rating down one star after how rude the guy on the cash register was. Their delivery time is ridiculously long (think 45 minutes no matter what time you order). However, their calzone has a delicious combination of buffalo flavor with a cool blue cheese dressing. If you are getting anything else I have heard it is disappointing (considering it is just a regional chain of so-so Italian-American food).
