Steak Sandwich with Fresh Cut Fries and Chipotle Burger
    Gerson C.

Our waiter was very nice and the establishment is welcoming. We were walking in Time Square and wanted something different. We stopped at this diner and it was fairly basic. The steak sandwich comes with large cut sized steak pieces. Some of the pieces were hard to chew so left some on the plate. The burger was better than the sandwich. Ask for buffalo sauce on side!!!

Was missing the authentic diner experience since Savannah GA doesn't really have one the atmosphere was basic diner quick and friendly service but food was just okay! Nothing great but not a bad item either.

    Mexican Omelette

This was an okay experience! The food was good, but portions were on the smaller side. Both of my friends ordered the Mexican omelet but they were inconsistent sizing (one plate had a larger portion of omelet AND potatoes than the other... interesting) The food was up to par with diner food! Extra points because they let us sit there for a bit longer once we finished our meal/got the check without rushing us out.

It appeared that we would have a very long wait, but they were very well organized the line went very quickly. The food was good. Based on what was ordered at our table, I would recommend the omelettes. The omelettes are delicious and come with some amazing potatoes. I got the 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 sausage links, and 2 slices of bacon. It was all good, especially the thick crispy bacon. My only complaint is that they put the over easy eggs on top of the pancakes. It's difficult to get them off without breaking the yolk. I observed a couple of other people trying to get their eggs off the pancakes. I am assuming that some people like eggs on top of pancakes so the yolks will sink into the pancakes. I like for my egg yolks to mix with grits. The ambiance is very much busy New York. If this is your first trip to New York, you must have breakfast here.

Went to this diner for a quick breakfast. Great customer service from the staff, I was greeted upon entry and was checked on throughout my duration there. I ordered the french toast, and received it in probably less than 10 minutes. It was a decent tasting french toast I could have made at home. It was listed on the menu as "thick french toast" but it was on a regular white thinner bread. I was hoping for a thicker bread like a brioche or challah

My wife and I were looking for breakfast for our only full day in NYC. We were looking for a spot relatively close to our hotel and also wanted a spot without much of a wait because how hungry we were. This came up and nailed the part about minimal wait, as we were sat right away. For breakfast they had all your typical expected options, with a couple specials but even those could be found at most diners. The vibes were pretty similar to what you'd expect for a diner. Our server and other staff were friendly but didn't see our server all that much. Service wise though the food came out unbelievably fast. Granted I assume their kitchen has it down to science and breakfast food is quite easy to cook. Still very impressive speed wise. My wife got the corned beef hash with eggs and I got their breakfast skillet under the specials. My wife enjoyed the corned beef hash and eggs for what it was but has had significantly better at many places. Also she was not a fan of their breakfast potatoes. I thought the skillet was alright but size wise was a little smaller than I expected. I did eat all of the potatoes but did think they lacked much flavor unfortunately. We enjoyed our meals as an average meal. With so many options in NYC we would likely not return and instead go elsewhere.

Stopped in for breakfast after getting off the train at NY penn. The place was very busy but I was seated very quickly in this small booth that if I was a much wider person they might have had to grease up so I could sit down. The waiter came over and greeted me and I decided on ordering a breakfast skillet with sunny side up eggs along with a orange juice. The skillet was good I just wished the potatoes were shredded instead of being cut in large chunks with makes it the bulk of the meal with small portions of bacon and sausage on the bottom. But overall wasn't bad and it wasn't tourist ripoff price levels either.

Came here in March and remembered it being good so I came by for lunch again. I got the Chicken with Avocado Sandwich, consisting of chicken, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. You can choose the bread, and I went with the sourdough. Great sandwich and super filling, couldn't even finish it (rare for me). Also came with a pickle, which was delicious! Service was great, the waitress stopped to check on me several times and my water glass was never empty. Place is old but was clean, and had some fun Halloween decorations. I came on a Friday around 2pm and there were lots of available seats, but I remembered it being more crowded last time.

Huge portion; Eastern Omelette with cheese, potatoes and toast!

Quick friendly service, booth filled, nice bar/counter and very good portions. Priced very well for their location, I was surprised my dish and coffee ran me just $19. Breakfast potatoes were different from any other, red potatoes seasoned well. I will make my way back to the diner the burger looked very good at the booth next to me. THANK YOU JOSIE, she was very welcoming and a great server. Very rarely do I not clear my plate. I was stuffed.

Breakfast is amazing gathering here. I got b the Apple Pancakes which, not only had apples on top, but apples I side the pancakes as well. The bloody mary was light and a little bit spicy. Very good, though. Service is fast and efficient. Ambiance is clean and welcoming.

As we walked toward Macys, we were searching for a place to eat breakfast. We saw a Starbucks on the corner but our eyes shifted to this diner. We walked in hoping that we would be seated right away and we were! It was almost 1pm on a Friday and there wasn't a massive crowd. Our server was nice and attentive. The restaurant was bright and clean. Food was yummy and filling. I'd definitely go back again.

Classic diner with lots of seating and really solid breakfast options. Recommend the omelets and the pancakes. Service was great as well- they were friendly, attentive, and they let us stay and chat for a while after we finished eating without rushing us out.

Over to my right hand side where I was sitting. Yeah despite the size of the exterior, definitely looks larger inside.

Been some time since I came to a Diner just for the experience of it all and it was pretty solid overall. Moment I came in I was automatically greeted by one of the employees there and was led to a table in the middle of the Diner. From the outside the place looks narrow but it looks a lot larger when inside as there's a lot of seating and plenty of people in the place, probably concluding after a day of Black Friday shopping. A waitress came about a minute after me taking in the sights and she was very courteous and attentive even with the extra crowd traffic in the restaurant. I ordered a special or sorts, a starter, entree & dessert special for $28 and in order that is Onion Rings, a Deluxe Cheeseburger w/ Fries and a slice of Apple Pie. Delicious and filled menup proper. Onion Rings had a nice crisp to them, the burger was prepared good, even presented well, could've done with some less lettuce but other than that, it was delightful in taste and texture. The fries although good, most were crisp and a few were soggy but didn't take away from the side as a whole. I couldn't finish the entirety of the fries and rings because I wanted to leave some room left for Apple Pie and it was otherworldly. Toasty, tender, apple crisp with a hint of Cinnamon, it was grand. As for a drink it was standard, just an ice tea as something to wash down the food. Pretty solid for $28, though fo course the Iced Tea came up to $3 then there's tax and a courteous tip which rounded up to $40. Yeah dining in NYC is not for the financially weak. So yeah, I'd come around again in the future and try out breakfast from there. Once again 2 thumbs up for the servers there, dishing out warm courtesy on a fairly cold day in an even colder city.

Every thing is perfect BUT the turkey patty...worst ever had.

Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

Anyway, their happy hour is solid enough for a Monday and was meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. Place is actually very cute. There are no tvs which I appreciate and the paneling of the walls and decor with all the flowers is quite tasteful. Happy hour deals 4-7pm Mon-Fri & all night Thursday apparently: Aperol Spritz $8, Hugo Spritz $9, Paloma $10, Mules $9, Draft Beers (except Guinness) $7, House Wine $9. As well as 2 Appetizer Bites for $19.95. Not the best but not the worst. I'm normally not a Spritz kind of gal. I think watering down prosecco or wine is heinous. But it was a Monday and I didn't exactly feel like powering down into happy hour so Aperol Spritz it was which switched to a Modelo later. It was the perfect drink situation on a god awful hot as hell day. We also ordered the fish tacos and what initially were the curry fries but they brought out the Greek fries. I wasn't mad about it. Honestly was torn between the two and I don't send food back unless something really bad happened. But it was essentially a side of Caesar salad dressing with feta cheese and generous amount of herbs on a very sparse and frugal amount of crispy standard cut fries. Now I know why it's a 2 for $20 deal. The tacos were 3 in an order which I guess is typical. They weren't bad but nothing stood out to me. I'd come for the drinks or try something else on the menu.
