Large pizza (half cheese and half pepperoni)
Marie P.

Great spot for a sit down Italian meal at Chautauqua. This place is as much of an institution, in terms of longevity, as the literal Chautauqua Institution. I've been visiting since I was eight years old and looked forward to the opportunity to visit as an adult. They were able to seat our party of eight on a busy weekend night during tourist season, but we had to go with an outside option. With two round tables pushed together and some slight table wobliness, it wasn't seamless. However, we appreciate being seated without a wait because we had young children with us. I went with the eggplant parm and also got to try the garlic bread and some cheese pizza. The eggplant parm was fairly thinly cut and well-breaded. It was soft in texture and swimming in tasty sauce. Also, the pizza was hot and cheesy! Lastly, the cheesy garlic bread was a nice app. But I'd probably skip it next time because it was just straight carbs and the rest of the meal was carbs (by design). Service was a little slow, but it was understandable given how busy they were. Also, they had some live music, which was a welcome surprise! Overall, in the Chautauqua area this is definitely a spot worth visiting for a meal. There isn't a ton of solid sit down options in the area this is definitely one of the front runners in this town.

Supreme pizza with tomatoes

Great lunch today! Medium Supreme Pizza with tomatoes as an add on. Side salads. Smithwick's beer. Reasonable pricing with high quality ingredients. Our server (Caitlyn) was attentive and nice. Small table for two was big enough for everything we needed. Water bottle on table was a nice add.

Andriaccio's is a staple in my family's diet. Their pizza competes as some of the best I've ever had. And I have had the good fortune of trying chicken wings in almost every corner of the east coast, but none come remotely close to Andriaccio's. I tried their garlic parm wings and they are a new favorite of mine. They have an extensive menu of other great options from pasta to steak. There is a takeout side of the restaurant and a dine-in side of the restaurant. The dine in side is a bit more upscale, with table cloths and a wine selection. It's a favorite amongst Chautauqua Institution visitors. But the dine-in section is versatile enough that casual dress is also welcome without clash, definitely a "pick your own vibe" type of place. And the service is always exceptional.

We had a wonderful experience dining here while staying in nearby Chautauqua. We sat at the bar and had excellent service, good drinks and delicious pasta dishes.

The menu for Fathers Day

The food was amazing! I've only been here once but I'd consider this "fancy". And a little pricey. I love that their water is bottled and at the table. The food was to die for. Absolutely mouth watering. We sat on the patio and I was pleased with my experience. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was parking and it be a tad bit pricey. However whoever your cook is needs a raise because the food was absolutely superb

Beautiful night on the lake ! Full bellies and happy customers

Every time we go to the Chautauqua Institute, we stopped for dinner at Andriaccio's restaurant. It is always a slam dunk. The food is stellar. The proportions are large. The service is second to none. Great Italian food from a great Italian family generations of love here for sure the ambience is amazing, nestled right by the Chautauqua Institute and right across from the lake it's absolutely beautiful appetizers are fantastic and so is dessert as well must see when visiting Chautauqua. Thank you for an amazing meal last Friday night.

The food, service, and ambience are all good. Although the service has been very slow several times that I've gone there. The food is worth the wait.

Dessert.

The appetizer, salad and entree were all amazing. Our server Logan, surprised us with dessert, upon learning it was our anniversary. Warm, wonderful atmosphere and amazing service! What a gem! We both had the lasagna and it was outstanding.

Pizzas are decent but a little pricey. Not a whole lot of options in the area though so worth checking out. Would order again.

Best pizza in the Chautauqua Lake area. The burgers are really good as well. I usually get take out but the dining room is nice as well.

The stuffed haddock with risotto was in flavorful, too much stuffing, the risotto was not risotto-gluey and hard at the same time not at all like smooth/silky flavorful risotto. Grilled asparagus was decent. 7-deadly Zinfandel was pink. My collègue encouraged me to come here for dinner. Probably will not come back-while I think they were trying, fell short. At about 8:00, I left the table and checked other rooms--something I have never done before--and came back to tell my husband what I observed: the 125 person wedding party was served--it had gone quiet, people at the bar were served, a party of 20 near the bar were served. When the food arrived, chicken breast was still pink in the middle! I merely nibbled at what looked done. (My husband liked his meal well enough.) Now I am awakened to heartburn. DO NOT eat at Olive's when it has large groups! And beware of pink in your chicken.

We didn't have a chance to put our dinner orders in at this point. We ordered entrees right before the appetizers came out, which took a long time anyway, and then immediately after our appetizers and salads came out. We then proceeded to wait over an hour for our food with an inattentive server, no apology, and no explanation. When we asked about our food, we still didn't receive any sort of explanation as to why it was taking so long. Then once we got our entrees, the server brought our check very quickly and condescendingly told us that she knew we were in a hurry...we weren't at the beginning of the night but by that point we were - it had been 2.5 hours since we sat down. By the end of the meal, our graduate splashed a small amount of sauce on her white dress and our server very rudely told her that she shouldn't have worn white to an Italian restaurant and then proceeded to make fun of her and say she needed a bib. The food was tasty but the overall experience of dining here unfortunately means we won't be return customers. We aren't unreasonable people and our group has jobs in the service and hospitality industry, we know there is a correct way to handle these situations and being unsympathetic and apathetic isn't it.

We discovered that many places are closed on Monday in town, but not Calarco's. We placed an order for pick-up and the service could not have been nicer. They even accepted plastic, unlike other establishments in town. Portions were huge, the rolls were warm and soft and savory, and that tomato sauce was unique, zesty, and something special. My wife had leftovers of her chicken piccata which she enjoyed; nothing was spared of my eggplant parm as I had to eat it all. Their homemade bleu cheese dressing I asked for with my side salad was so darn good. And to top everything off, we split their last slice of peanut butter pie which was truly an impressive gem. I have had many a pie or cake in fine dining restaurants, yet this particular pie was out of this world. Next time in Westfield, we will meet again, Calarco's.

We sat for dinner at 6pm; one or two other tables were outside along with us. Our server, when giving us our drinks, apologized and stated she basically forgot about us... which seemed to be how the whole night ended up! We got an appetizer that was served with our drinks, and it took 30 minutes to arrive. We ordered our food, waiting and watching as at least 6 tables were seated. They all had gotten their food before we did, and they arrived at least 10-30 mins after us. The owner comes over and notices the sour look on our faces and states she will go figure out our food order... After watching more tables get their food we decided to ask for our food to go as this is now an hour and fifteen minutes since we've been sat. The owner then states that because we got an appetizer, our food took longer... but the tables that arrived after us got their appetizer AND meal before we got our meal. One of them was even getting their check while we still hadn't gotten our food. Our server checked on us probably one time, and no apologies were given for the wait. The owner states that "it's dinner rush and Saturday night, everyone came in at the same time," which I understand the first part, but no ma'am, they came at least 10+ minutes after we had already been seated. The owner barely apologized for the whole time we were sitting waiting, being ignored, and even told us our food had been sitting on the counter... for who knows how long! She then "so kindly" removed the appetizer from our check. Two of the orders we took home were incorrect, leaving this whole situation even more frustrating. Very displeased with the service, but the owner herself and we won't be returning!
