Edit (1/2/2020): We called today to express our incredible displeasure about purchasing a very expensive car and not being able to drive it over a month but yet are still forced to pay for it. They said that they won't help us because we "trashed" them on social media by leaving this 100% accurate review. I went to this dealership to pick up a 2018 Dodge Charger Hellcat with ~10,000 miles that I've been eyeballing for a long time. Little did I know my dream car would end up being an absolute mess of nightmare. From the very first day it was not a very good experience with the salesman but he was new and understandable. He was a very nice guy but it was frustrating having to wait 30 minutes just to get the keys. We were told that the car was in Tip-Top shape as the test drive showed there was no check engine light and the ride was pretty smooth. Next, after buying the car we realized it indeed never even had an oil change which they said it already had. So we had to schedule another time to come in and change the oil. Every time they call, they call me by a completely incorrect name. So now it's the next day owning the car and I started it and here's a check engine light. I take it to a completely different dealership to have it checked out lo and behold there are a ton of problems with it. Not only is there something wrong with the engine but also the GPS didn't work. When they went to do an update, it bricked the entire radio system meaning there was no radio, control of engine performance, climate control, or anything else. We get the car back without the radio control meaning we can't control the heat or cold, and now there's another check engine light for something completely different. So all in all, if you're going to buy a car from this place, do yourself a great justice and get it looked at by a third party mechanic. On Saturday my son purchased a used car, same day check engine light came on. Monday he took it back & gave a code that explained the problem because his stepfather had the equipment to determine what the issue was. They claimed it was fixed but didn't give any type of receipt showing what was fixed (my son's fault). Today, Wednesday 5 days after purchase, check engine light back on. On August 4th my 19 yr old purchased a use 2009 Nissan Murano, from Andy Mohr Buick GMC in Fishers. Before he purchased the vehicle, I questioned the engine light, salesman Jorge, stated it was the sensor and the vehicle had been service and checked out with no issues other then the sensored light. He told me to take it to O Reilly to back him up. We did just that. O Reilly stated the same issue. 3weeks later my son's vehicle broke down we took it to Car X, Car X stated he needs a transmission and to take it back where we purchased the vehicle from. We notified Andy Mohr in Fishers had it towed the following week. From September 3rd through September 10th, we didn't hear any response until I physically went up there to speak with the General manager Eric Wilson. The General Eric Wilson was rude the first thing that came out his mouth was they're not paying for a transmission! I asked them is that what do sell cars that are not thoroughly serviced and lie about the vehicle because NO ONE intentionally buys a vehicle needing a transmission when my son needs his vehicle for college and work. I also stated that I was not pleased with customer service taking so long to contact me. Eric told me he will look into by Monday September 12th to let me know what's going on. He contacted me the next day September 13th, told me that the car/Suv needed a transmission. Although he wasn't going to help, he stated he would recommend a reasonable company that does transmissions to give him a few days. We never heard from from Mr. Wilson. It took a little over a week to have our vehicle released back to us in order to have someone else look at it. Took my son's vehicle to Edwards Transmission and they also confirmed my son's Nissan needs a transmission. What a waste I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in Andy Mohr Fishers GMC Buick! I recently purchased a vehicle from Andy Mohr Buick GMC and as soon as I got home, I found that it had a significant oil leak they had failed to disclose. I notified the dealership within 24 hours of the purchase and received an email back from the General Manager, Eric Wilson saying they would not do anything to fix the situation. I STRONGLY recommend you take whatever used vehicle they attempt to sell you to a mechanic BEFORE you purchase the vehicle. Also, be sure to get the Carfax on the vehicle because these guys will sell you a car that is NOT road worth and way overpriced for the amount of issues with the vehicle. I talked to a salesman named Mark, he told me it showed that I sent it, but they couldn't find it and he'd call me back (this was about 4:00 Friday.) About 15-30 minutes later I get another phone call from him, they still couldn't find it and he'll call me back once he found out what was going on. Well, 6:00 closing time came around. Nothing. My husband bought a 2005 Buick Rainier from Andy Mohr less than 60 days ago. It has already been in the shop twice! The first time was less than two weeks after he got it. He put the vehicle in reverse and then it wouldn't come out of reverse! He was stuck in a parking lot blocking traffic. The second time, now, the vehicle was making some squeaking noise and a "service breaks" light was on and beeping. He bought the vehicle for $7,500 and Andy Mohr is quoting $1,600 to fix it! It's been less than 60 days so these problems should have been identified and fixed before it was ever sold. I asked the used car manager, Mike, to cover the repairs because it had been less than 60 days. He refused, saying "we sell our cars as-is" and claiming that since the car is 14 years old, we should expect break downs. Here's the thing: the car only has 69K miles on it, so regardless of age it should be in good condition, right?? UNLESS THEY CHANGED THE ODOMETER. I told Mike that we bought this car to get us through one year while we made another big purchase, and that we would be in the market for a new one later this year. I asked him if he's certain he doesn't want our business at that time. All of a sudden, he wants to take my request for Andy Mohr to cover the service to his manager. If I could give a zero star I would. Let's start from the beginning. I took my 2014 Chevy Impala into this dealership to have a ball bearing replaced. They looked at it and called me and back to say they could change it and then also do a break job for an extra $500. They said that I didn't have to but with them already having the wheels off and access to the area it would be a cheaper time to do it. I agreed. After driving it off the lot there was an immediate screeching should ever once in a while from the breaks, especially when I would back out of the garage. I let it go for a month thinking it was just the breaks "breaking" in. After it kept going on I decided that it was time for something to be looked at because they ever screeched before the new break job. I called and made an appointment for 8:30 in the morning. I packed up my kid and his stroller to take. I was within walking distance and figured that it would just take the morning. When I dropped it off (Bob I believe his name was) said that the indicator said that I needed alignment which was discounted to just $125. I figured why not, just got new tires on it. Bob then said that he could give me a ride home. I asked how long he figured it would take and he couldn't give me an exact time. I waited till 3:30-4pm to wait for a call. I have 4 young children so my car is something I need to take them around to school and childcare. I finales called around 4:30 pm to see what was happening. Bob said that he would find out and that he didn't think they had a chance to look at it. Finally around 4:50pm he called me back to tell me that they had it on the lift and would have it done first thing in the morning. They opened at 8am and waiting till 9am to call and see what was happening. Finally they said that they were getting it off the lift to test the brakes. I decided to walk up to the dealership to force the issue with my 10 month old. As I walked into the parking lot they called and said it was ready. When I got to the "customer service" desk they said they they didn't know why the breaks were squeaking but they tested it by driving it and "slamming" on the breaks a few times and they saw everything was normal wear. I argued that this was unacceptable that they had my car for over 24 hours and never gave me a heads up on what was going on. They apologize and said they could discount the alignment for 20%. I then argued that they didn't fix the problem I brought it in for and that they are now charging me $125 for something that was a non issue to begin with. I made more noise by asking if that is how they run a business. Not fixing a problem a brought it in for and charging me for a non problem after having my car for over 24 hours? Also I questioned the fact that before I brought my car in there was zero squeaking, and now there is squeaking with new breaks. My answer to that is that breaks "squeak from time to time". They finally agree to waive the alignment fee. I drove away not really happy but what could I do...........then 2 days passed and now there was a clicking or catching notice in the breaks. I called to alert them about this but decided that Bob really couldn't help me so I left two messages for the customer service manager.............with zero calls returned. Finally a couple of months later I got around to looking at the breaks myself today. Turns out they did not put any kind of lubricant on the pad joints and that what the whole reason. Took me 20 minutes and a car jack from the 1970s to figure out the basic thing they couldn't. So please, please please. Think again if you take your car to this dealership for any type of service work. Zero customer service and zero accountability for their mistake. read more

Went to drive the expedition for 8,900. Turns out it is 10,900 and they want to charge a 300 dollar fee on top of that for vin etching that has been proven to be a scam. The 2,000 off is only for trade in customers. I told the dealer that I wouldn't pay for the vin etching and they informed me it was already on the vehicle and the 300 dollar fee could not be removed. This is a shame they are trying to add fees without the customer agreeing to them. If you want the vin etching kit get one on amazon they are cheap. Just know it's a useless tool to make you think it's a great value when it is not. Over all the vehicle is nice. Just know you will pay for something like vin etching an old trick used to take more of your hard earned money. Look it up on the internet. Everything was fine until I heard about the vin etching. I will never again buy a car from Andy Mohr Buick GM. I bought a car from them in Fisher last month. I had a very bad experience with the FINANCE PERSON. My request was very simple, I asked him to change the name on the personal loan agreement and vehicle buyer order to the name that match with my ID. I asked before I sign the agreement and several times via text messages and telephone. I also sent an e-mail to the general manager. They do nothing. They not change it. Instead the finance person blamed me to sign it. The finance person asked me again to re-signed the agreement because I don't need the GAP insurance. Again I asked him to change the name but he did not. He can change the GAP insurance but not the name? and later he blamed me because I re signed it. Of course I re-signed it because that was cheaper than the first one. I sure he will used the old agreement if I did not sign and it cost me more money. On the title he put the correct name. The finance person texted me, if I not sign the title by tomorrow they will submit the title as the name on the personal loan agreement and vehicle buyer order which was incorrect. When I came the next day to sign the title, I told him I asked many times but he not change the name on the loan agreement and vehicle buyer order. He said "are you arguing, do you want to get attorney"? He also told me the manager told him he don't have to do that. Mean he don't have to put the correct name that match with my ID but because he promised me to do he did on the title. I showed him the 'dealer title affidavit' which is if a customer do not receive a valid certificate of title within 31 days, I have my right to return the vehicle. He said "what is that?, I don't care about that". He said he wanted it to be done because he tired of it. At least you get paid! I am tired and stressful and not get paid. The car is not free I pay for it. He said his computer locked he cannot change the name on the personal loan agreement and vehicle buyer order. Really? But he can change/take away the GAP insurance? Also I asked him to cancel the extended warranty. He gave me form and asked me to sign it without any information on it like my name and address. . I told him I don't want to sign it because no information on it. He said "that paper not important it will later go to the trash, but I will fill the information if it make you feel better". Be nice to customer. Listen what they want. I sure you paycheck come from customers money. Without customer you make 0$. Since moving to Indy, I have only come to this location for car maintenance and have had fairly good experiences every time. They have a very friendly staff who quickly welcomes you and tends to your car needs. Their facilities are also fairly clean, however when they're busy (which is often) there is limited seating in the waiting area. Overall I've been very pleased with the work done on my car and feel as though I can confidently depend on them for high quality work. The one down side I would say is the fairly lengthy wait time. They're busy almost any time you come, which alternatively speaks to their large customer base and how many people appreciate the work they do here. They have also provided me with a complimentary car wash every time I've come for an oil change which is always a nice perk of coming as well. Overall I would say this is a dependable place for your vehicle needs and would definitely recommend. read more

My personal review of Andy Mohr in Fischer' IN. My friend went over there from Kokomo Indiana and purchased a car from them and a couple days later it started making a noise. Dave called them and they said as is and they will not work on it or fix it. Now a couple weeks later she had to be towed home from the grocery store. She might have put 30 miles on it since she got it. Now my friend is handicap with her one foot amputated and the other foot partially amputated. So she has prosthetics. They told her it was a good and dependable car. She is on disability doesn't have a lot of money. She paid I think about 4500.00 for it and it lasted a about 30 miles or so. I can't say enough great things about Jake our salesman and Alex in finance. For various reasons car buying has never ranked high on our list of things we love (or even like to do) but dealing with both Jake & Alex was surprisingly enjoyable. Not everyone has the personality to make a person feel comfortable and at ease as well as not being pushed. We did not call ahead for a test drive since we had 3 dealerships we had planned on visiting but from the minute we walked in there was no delay in getting us out for the test drive. Needless to say, we did not go to the other 2 dealerships. Price of the vehicle was fair as well as our trade in. We bought two Buick Encores from this dealership. We traded them both off in December 2020. I went to this dealership in person to complete the paperwork to cancel my extended service plan and GAP coverage at the end of December. A sales manager actually took the completed paperwork. When I still did not receive the check in February, I find out by one finance manager that it was not even turned in! So I recomplete the paperwork once again. After repeatedly contacting her to see if it was turned in, I never would get an email or call back...not one time! Meanwhile this is the end of February. So I contacted the other finance manager, Alex, and I told him that my next step was to contact the General Manager and Buick if this was not resolved. Alex actually helped me when I bought one of the cars. He worked on it and I finally got my check this week, albeit almost three months later. But him and the office manager Tara was able to get the check sent to me directly instead of having to send it to the bank first which is customary. He got it done in less than two weeks! Awesome! Alex is awesome and I would recommend him to help with your finance. If I would have had an opportunity to talk to him originally, all of this would not have happened. It should have only have taken 4-6 weeks top to get a check. Two people dropped the ball. So be careful when asking for the refund. Stay on top of it and be pushy. read more

I brought my vehicle in for service on what appeared to be leaking coolant. Car was overheating. Took rental and went to work. I was told that the issue was the water pump. We agreed on fixing that issue. Service consultant attempted to upsell on other services. Declined on most except oil change. Next day, vehicle overheated on 465 with the same symptoms. Took me two hours to get back to Andy Mohr. I was told the issue was an elbow connector leaking. So, I really don't know if the water pump was the root cause or if it was replaced. Dealerships are usually better at fixing issues b/c they are more expensive and mechanics should have better training. I have not experienced that with Andy Mohr. Trimmed a little off of the labor not much to matter. Better luck to you. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would! Stay away from this place when buying a car! Not only is their customer service indescribably inept, but their business practices of reselling devalued cars at a higher value than normal is a major problem. Also not disclosing structural damage! Andy Mohr GMC (and probably the rest of Andy Mohr dealerships) are dealers you hear about in nightmare situations like the one I had. I was sold a car that I found out was valued at around $2,500, for $7,300 ($7960) after tax and dumb fees. That's a $5,400 difference!! The car ended up having two accidents and frame damage on it that were not disclosed to me upon purchasing the vehicle, after specifically asking the salesman to ONLY show me Vehicles without any accident record. I trusted them and they let me down as a customer. I bought the car in February of 2018 at 96,000 Miles and at my two thousand mile maintenance mark found out about the accidents in frame damage and thus found out the cars actual value. A car looses about 10% value when driven off the lot... so in four months, only being driven about 2,000 miles, it should have not been devalued that much to make it only worth $2,500 now. That means they took me for at least a $4000 ride with my funds. I went to several other dealers to ask what they would value the car at and they all said the same thing $2500 and that Andy Mohr Buick GMC made a fool out of my pocket book. So I called them on it, and instead of finding way to make a fair trade that didn't cost me anywhere between 3 to 4000 extra of what I already bought, the Andy Mohr team was absolutely no help and pretty much told me it was my own loss. What a great way to treat your customers with a completely unfair, shady business deal. The GM even laughed in our face when we asked if as a customer he would buy the car, and he couldn't give us a straight answer. How much fun he was. I've done a hell of a lot of research and apparently this is not the first time Andy Mohr Buick GMC has done this to someone. BEWARE!! Update: After going in again, they tried to tell me they uped the price because of all the maintenance work they did on it, however the Carfax shows no such maintenance (just simple checks and fluids) that would have costed anything over $300. I've had my eye on the 2018 Lacrosses and came to test drive some. I tend to keep my cars a long time, and I also tend to get very bothered by squeaks/rattles in a vehicle that costs in excess of $30k...it's a lot of money to spend and I think most would agree that expecting quality fit/finish shouldn't be out of line. I told my salesman, Luther, several times I wanted to try and drive a few of the Lacrosses. He kept pushing back that I should just look at the one I like the most since they are "all the same". I made it clear that no two cars are identical, and at sticker prices over $40k I want the car to meet my standards. One car drove very smooth but there was a very noticeable interior squeak in the rear every time I pulled the car to the right...and only when I pulled it to the right. (He was not in the car to hear it....but told me "it's probably just a nut rolling around" and dismissed what I was saying). The second car had no interior noises at all, but there was something wrong with the drivers window. Not only would it not roll down at first, there was very loud wind noise coming through. Definitely not normal. After driving the second car, I asked to drive a third, final one. This is when Luther started to turn nasty. He said "they all drive the same" and continued to say that these cars have zero squeaks or rattles. I said that's ridiculous...ALL cars with plastic interiors are prone to it, but some are better than others. For him to suggest otherwise and to start arguing with me about it was offputting. He than said "does YOUR car have squeaks?" which is a joke....it has 130k miles. Of course it does. He proceeded to ask me which car I wanted, to which I said I want to still drive the 3rd one to see. He continued to tell me to just settle on the colors I wanted and I said I wouldn't. Note that I was not acting belligerent or arrogant....I was very tired having driven from Chicago earlier in the day dealing with a family emergency and was more subdued than usual, if anything. He finally got the keys to the 3rd one and it wouldn't start. I told him I'd just come back Monday and test drive it after they got it running, but he wasn't having it. He took my trade-in keys to the front desk to have someone appraise my car, though he had the keys for about 20 minutes up to that point while I was on a test drive....frustrated at that fact, I at first said I'd rather just do all that Monday and he responded "WE'LL DO IT NOW!" and huffed up to the desk. I then got angry and said it was late (close to closing time) and I'd just do it Monday and he REFUSED. These are the car dealership experiences my dad spoke of often from the '70s....I thought we'd moved past this type of behavior. Luther and I then talked price for a bit (since I was stranded without my keys) and then after the appraisal was done and my keys handed back to me, he flat out refused to tell me what it was appraised at. He said he didn't know. I told him the appraiser would know and to ask him, and he said the appraiser didn't know - which, of course, was ridiculous and I said so. I said I would not come back Monday if I didn't know that we were in the ballpark. He said "you know what your car is worth" and I said yes - about $7500 - and he said "then we're in the ballpark!" with nothing but frustration. In my years, I've never dealt with a salesperson like this, and I'm annoyed enough that I had to say something. Do not buy a used car from this place! Bought a diesel truck and within the first week the check engine light came on. Took it over to the Auto Parts store to check out the lights....5 different issues popped up (3 of them major mechanical issues) which is more than a little suspect. $1500+ later, our truck is finally fixed. I knew something was wrong when the dealership didn't offer a 30 day warranty like every other used car dealership I have ever purchased from but I had already signed the paperwork. I did ask the salesman why they didn't offer any warranty on their used vehicles and his reply was "If we are going to do something, it's going to be done right". Uh, that doesn't make any sense, the whole point of a warranty program is to stand by your work, especially if it's done right...which it isn't done right and is exactly why they don't offer one (and if they do, it's not on all cars). Which is further evidenced by the long list of poor reviews on here. Bottom line, I will not use any Andy Mohr dealerships again and will not recommend them as their vehicles can't be trusted due to their shady business practices. read more

I use to work for Andy years ago at the Noblesville location when it was on Allisonville Road. This review is for the service department today. The guy on the end wasn't doing anything other than chewing on his gum. I stood there and stood there and he just kept looking at me. Didn't say "Welcome to Andy Mohr I'll be right with you or anything." Instead he just kept looking at me like I was interrupting his Saturday. I just wanted to schedule an appointment to get my tires put on, but that won't happen. Worst part is they had a 2012 VW Touareg that my wife was on the way to look at. We were going to buy it too assuming both was wrong with it! So gum chewing guy just cost the dealership several thousand dollars today. I know Andy, and he would be less than happy. read more

I went to Andy Mohr with my dad, trying to help him find a new vehicle since his lease is ending next month. However, I saw a great vehicle that I loved and had them run the numbers, initially it was not in a price range that I wanted so we left, dad didn't see anything that day that he wanted. But within 30 min Luther Ross called me back about that vehicle and was a deal I couldn't resist, so we went back and I drove home with a brand new vehicle. I Definitely want to give Luther Ross a shout out because he was great to work with and I'd send anyone looking for a new vehicle to him. Mediocre dealership. Found a decently priced used vehicle but after agreeing on a price for the car and my trade they tried to slip in over $500 in fees (not tax)... When I inquired about the last minute fees and missing itemization on the sales worksheet the salesman fed me some spectacular bs that left me wondering what planet he was from. If you can go elsewhere I'd recommend Ray Skillman on the SS or Ed Martin in Zionsville. It goes without saying but if you have to go here read carefully before signing. read more

They snuck a $3000 warranty on my contract without telling me or going over it. I have since found out that they do this to every used car they can and do not tell the buyer. They wouldn't rewrite the contract and after days of calling and the finance manager Gary avoiding my calls they attached the $3000 to my principle which is not what I wanted. Very very unhelpful would never buy a car from there again. Pay attention to everything the put in front of you because they will act friendly while they are trying to get one over on you. The car also had a cracked windshield which they refused to fix and I had to pay out of pocket. All in all a very terrible experience! read more
