I have gotten slices from here before and like with most pizza places I would not recommend, as it's probably been lying around for some time. This time we got full pizzas and it was very fresh. Andy's pizza is Nee York Style pizza you can find in the food court at Tysons Galleria on the top floor. They had a line when I arrived but it moved quickly. OK OK OK - some of the best halal pizza I have had. I love how the pizza can be bought per slice and made into a box. It worked out for us because about 8 of us shared. The pizza has a lot of cheese, slightly oily but probably all the fat oozing from the meat. We got ranch dips for everyone and it was so nostalgic somehow. I would highly recommend. I ordered half pepperoni and Half diavolo pizza. The order came out different and wouldn't fix it. I was told the person who rang me up was training. The Diavolo pizza was so bland and that blob of ricotta added a very odd taste. The pepperoni on the pizza tastes good! They don't sell slices of halal pizza only pies. I've heard people rave about Andy's Pizza and finally tried it... it's good! I would describe Andy's Pizza as a more upscale New York slice. I ordered the Mushroom and Onion slice ($4.50) and really enjoyed it. The slice was hot and fresh (even if it was reheated), and the crust was light and crisp. It is a thin crust, so one slice did not fill me up. I ordered a pepperoni slice (also $4.50) to follow and it was good, but the mushroom slice is more memorable to me. They do have specials/combinations and happy hour deals but they're not advertised well in-store. The menu is displayed on a screen by the register, but the font size is teeny tiny. I learned of most of their combos after the fact, on their website. The only combo that was clearly advertised was the 2 slices and a lemonade deal for $14 ($1 upcharge for specialty slices). The lemonade is huge! I had to hold that cup with two hands. They have a small counter to grab chili flakes, oregano, napkins, and extra plates. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was ample seating in the Tysons Galleria eatery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because I placed an online order for a single slice and it got lost with the full pie orders. I placed the online order to save time, but it would've been faster if I stood in line and ordered at the counter. Once the cashier realized the delay on my single slice, my order was prioritized, but it did seem that they give the dinkier slices to the online orders and the nicer, meatier, bigger pieces to those that order in-person. Service here was horrible. With literally no one behind us, the people taking our pizza order were rude and rushing us. The middle-eastern gentleman had no care for seeing if we wanted to add toppings like Burrata or Hot Honey to our pizza. The Spanish lady that was taking my wife's order didn't care to listen to her when she asked to make the pizza extra hot. All the servers handling our pizza rolled their eyes at our requests to heat the pizza thoroughly and add extra toppings. I would avoid this place if you are expecting good customer service. The place is co- located with shotted (coffee shop) and the new Scolapasta in Tysons Galleria. The place has a bar and pizza. They have also on the menu the cheese pizza that won the world championship. Didn't try that, but had a margarita slice, Brussel sprouts and a large meatball pizza (halal) The crust was amazingly thin but the sauce and cheese was of small amount, so more would have given it a better balance. Brussel sprouts tasted like they were warmed up on the microwave( weren't crunchy) which they also seem to do with the slice pizzas s well. I paid 43 dollar and taking into account the taste and the price, this is not the place you go to get the elevated quality and taste, but if you want to get the buzz and hangout with friends and have a coffee from Shotted, this is a good spot. Andy's has one of the best pizza's in DC! NY style with no flop. It is always consistently made between each of the locations so you know you're getting a good pizza. This location in Tyson's has a bar with about ten seats,so it's quick to grab a drink between shopping and order a slice, it's out in minutes. I come here way too often with my mom for brunch on a random weekday - we live so close to galleria and don't have many options that's indoors and also allows bringing your fur babies. We hang out at Crate&Barrel since it's one of the only stores open earlier, then head up to Andy's by 10:50am bc that's when they start taking orders despite their 11am official opening. We also usually casually stroll and window shop after to try to loosen the calories up but I'm sure it's a meager attempt. My mom is obsessed with their white pizza - this woman doesn't obsess over anything food wise. I usually get the margarita or the ham & pepper (so I can give the ham to my babies). Their bar is also awesome for after work relaxing. I don't go there often for that but would suggest it for people with small doggos when it's raining or too cold outside. read more

FOOD If I was rating the place just by the food, I would give it five stars. We ordered the pepperoni special and burrata margherita. Both slices are the same save for pepperoni on the pepperoni slice. The crust was light, thin, and crispy. The cheese was also light and flavorful, and the burrata was creamy and refreshing. The basil was fresh and added depth to the slice as well. I did wish the pepperoni had a bit more spice or flavor to it, but otherwise a great slice. SERVICE This is where it went wrong. The man at the register was so rude and demeaning, I almost left the place altogether. The combo #3 advertised on the glass said that specialty pizzas were an extra dollar per slice if looking for that deal. When we asked about it, he brushed us off and said it wasn't included in the combo. That itself would have been fine but the way he looked at us as if we couldn't read the sign was incredibly rude. The next issue I had was with hygiene. The cashier not having gloves on is fine, and the staff handling the food had gloves on. But if the cashier is going to handle food-- adding basil and burrata on the slice with his bare hands, then that's where I draw a line. The way the male cashier just spoke with and talked to the female food staff throughout the interaction in preparing our order was very rude, and the work culture just seems very demeaning and toxic. AMBIANCE There is ample seating available within the food hall. Heads up, pizza boxes don't go in the trash but instead on the counters where the signs are for it.
