I originally went to the shop across the street from Andy's (based on the name of the chain) for a nail in my tire but the wait was over an hour. I happened to see Andy's and thank god I did, because the two men (assuming one was the owner) were very friendly and accommodating. The nail didn't actually puncture my tire so false alarm! I could have waited over an hour to be told the same thing, so very thankful that they graciously took a few mins to check it out. If a nail decides to ruin my day in the future, I will definitely bring my car there. I would much rather support a small business anyway. read more

During a roadtrip our van started throwing codes and we could no longer continue on, we limped into Andy's auto on a friday evening , Raymundo and another gentleman took time away from what they were working on to try and salvage our trip. Unfortunately, nothing could be done but they tried for quite awhile even trying to call their contacts to see if we could get the part we needed immediately. Was at AutoZone next door and an employee recommended me go across to A$$hole Andy's to see if I could get some assistance with engine mount. I pulled up but didn't see an official office. I heard cars being worked on and didn't want to disturb anyone in the middle of their work. I parked by the wall and called to see if I could make an appointment for that day or sometime in the near future. Well when the jerk who owns the business answered I greeted him and told him I needed to have my engine mount looked at. Instead of him saying "Ok, bring it in at this time or bring it in on this day". He responded rudely with " What?!" Like we both don't speak English. So I repeated myself and told him that I was in the parking lot. He pretended like he couldn't see my car parked right in front of him and then all of a sudden he could see my car. He got upset that I called instead of walking up and scolded me like I was his child for it and then hung up in my face. His goofy a$$ assumed I would get out the car and then speak to him. But someone who shows no respect won't get any from me. I think it's funny that he thought I would get out to do business with him and spend money there after that. My car is acting funny and it was already a bad day. The way Andy spoke to me made me feel worse. When I got home I cried. It's hard enough being a female with car issues ... they over charge us and rip us off. And then on top of that it's Glendale so you know how greedy these people are here. And if you're not "Armen" they treat you and talk to you and talk about you like trash. Anyways I just thought Andy should know specifically that he's trash. Treating people like that because you're making money today but life can change quickly and you might be the one getting hung up on when you need help very very soon. We don't live too far away so maybe I'll have my dad and brother have a 1 on 1 with A$$hole Andy and he can hang up on them and then he can see what happens next. read more

Do not go to this shop if you have an old Toyota pickup!!! They will rip you off and mess up your engine. Took my toyota pickup with 22r engine here for head gasket issues. I go to pick up my truck a week later or so and mechanic says it's not done yet but it's ok to drive, so I drove it home because I had to get to work the next day. The next day my truck wouldn't start and I had to get it towed back to the shop. And when I got my truck back it was running worse than ever, I was told when leaving that it's going to run rough for a while then it'll settle down again. It never did and a week or so later my engine was misfiring. I just had the engine rebuilt a little over a year prior to taking it here too. Ended up taking it to another mechanic and they told me only 3 valves were adjusted when on the book for this truck says you have to adjust all in sequence when the engine has been running for awhile. It also seems that they painted my head gasket without telling me or asking to make it seem new? I don't know why they didn't just say they don't know how to work on these in the first place. Very shady mechanic shop wouldn't recommend anyone goes here. read more

Bad service, Andy just cares for money not the quality of work that he provides, although you think he is a respected man since he is old and he might have experience, but he is a big time liar & his mouth is full of curses while he speaks. I never negotiated the price, I just told him to fix my car properly, he makes you change almost everything on the car to make you pay hundreds. If you want an honest mechanic don't go to Andy's Automotive Center wasting your time and money. read more

I started going to Andy's in 2020, but last year my car was having issues and after spending close to $2,000 I no longer have my car and it couldn't be fixed any further. It's an old car, but I feel Andy and his team let me down. In 2020, I want to say I spent close to $1,500 or more. At that time, I was happy with the service and felt a certain level of trust however as I continued going to this place, I feel Andy over charges. $100 just to change an fuel filter and an oil change is $80 bucks! Turnaround time is incredibly slow and you will be waiting a long time before your car is fixed. When I get my new car. I will never go back to Andy's. I've seen Andy working hard to get parts and I enjoyed conversations with him, but losing my car last year after spending so much money, it makes me question Andy and his team. I feel taken advantage overall. read more

BEWARE!!!! The owner is a thief. He fixes a bunch of things until he gets to the source of the problem. When he gets to the problem he "fixes it" and then another problem starts.
