Don't waste your money or time here. The service is horrible, not a smile or somewhat happy face in the restaurant. The server was rude, another server who asked if I wanted a refill basically slammed my drink down in front of me. The food is disgusting. My husband had eggs and hash browns and said it was really gross and cold. I had chilaquiles (I know, bold choice at a run down after thought of a diner) and I took 3 bites and pushed it aside. They need improvement everywhere. Service was like being in a twilight zone. The waitress , when asked about pie she stated, "you know, all the regular ones...". Ummm I have never been here! Does anyone understand what a diner is or do they expect a five star Michelin restaurant every time they go out? This is the question I want to ask everyone who's given bad reviews for Andy's Coffee Break. It's a diner and one of the best in our region. The menu is loaded up with classics and their take on American fare. They fill you up with dishes like a Country Haystack or a Chili Omelette. The Reuben is one of my favorites and they sure know how to make it perfect. Okay, I'll give some knock on service BUT they will make it up to you if you work with them. Don't be pushing so hard. Enjoy your meal and let it go. The service isn't that bad you have to trash them on it. And if you have an issue someone with the ownership is always around. I will continue to go and enjoy my time there with amazing food and a staff that truly cares. I challenge you to come for yourself and see how good this classic American diner is! read more

I went in approximately 1020 1030 on a Saturday morning for breakfast. They seem to be fairly busy and there was only one waitress and two bus boys or whatever.. So it took a few minutes for them to get me seated in the meantime, a couple of gentlemen came in and then a family of four so when they finally seated me, they seated me first which was wonderful. She brought me to my seat, and then walked away, within five minutes one of the bus boys came by and asked me if I wanted something to drink. He brought me what I asked for coffee with flavored creamer. And I presume the menu decided what I wanted and waited Approximately 1055. The waitress brought me the bill for what I had ordered. Needless to say I refused it because I had not received my meal yet.. Five minutes later, maybe 10 my meal came out and it was lukewarm at best which led me to believe that had been sitting under the heat lamp since it was prepared and my order was taken at 10:45. The portions were small and not very tasty. I ordered corn beef hash, two eggs over medium with a biscuit and a side cup of country sausage gravy. I did not get a cup of gravy. I got just a tad over half a cup, but it was enough and it was cold. The eggs were lukewarm And the corn beef hash was room temperature. The whole thing cost me $30 before a tip, I tipped the bus boy who is doing excellent and getting to the tables and clearing them off and the young man that brought me coffee each $1.50 I did not tip the waitress. On August 15th I went at 11:30 am to the new location in front of the mall for my lunch time. . Terrible experience after waiting half and hour and finished i One cup of coffee I asked another waiter how much longer do I have to wait for a crab omelet that cost $19, she went to the kitchen and came back to tell me that the waiter even didn't gave them my order. We waited a month before we decided to have lunch because it was new. It was fairly busy on a Sunday at 11:30. At the time of arrival we were told it shouldn't take long to be seated. It was 40 min, then 15 min to have our order taken and another 20 min to get our food. The food was delicious, however the service was terrible. We asked why when paying our bill. Tried them for the first time today. I ordered the Country Haystack, with a biscuit. The chicken fried steak was somewhat warm with no crispness to the breading. I wish I could say that the gravy was bland, but it was not as good as bland. The eggs, order over medium, came over hard with no cheese as advertised. The hash browns were okay but definitely needed salt and ketchup... But such is usually the way with hash browns. The biscuit was sliced and an attempt was made to toast it, but it was instead black... Not dark brown.... Black. Even the tiny Diet Coke tasted funky. I tried to eat the chicken fried steak, but I couldn't get more than 4 bites in... Hoping it would get better. I took it home for the dogs, they'll eat anything. read more

Today, I went there for breakfast. When my food arrived, my first bite was bacon. I immediately spit it out, along with a long black hair. While I continued to eat the other food items, nobody ever come back to see if everything was ok. When we finished our meal, my mom had to get someone's attention for a to go box. The waitress brought a box over and said, "I'll be right back with a check". When she came back, I informed her, that nobody came to see how our meal was or if we needed anything. I told her, it's definitely hair, and I spit it out onto this napkin. She asked for the napkin, so they can look through it. My mom and I got up to go pay our bill. She met us at the cash register, and said, yes there was hair, so she took $2.00 off for the piece of bacon. I did not leave a tip. Not because of the hair, but for the poor service, and lying about seeing how we were doing. After sitting there for a half an hour I flagged down the other server, who took my order. We decided to try Andy's for dinner on Sunday evening since their move from Pasco where they had been for many years. Unfortunately they left their good food & I think previous owners as well. There were 5 customers (2 tables) when we arrived & our order was finally taken by the single waitress. My brother in law ordered a Chef's Salad & I ordered Chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes gravy on the side. My dinner salad finally arrived and at the same time, my brother-in-law's entree salad which was shredded lettuce & finely diced tomatoes with the other fixings. Approximately 10 minutes later she brought my dinner. Mashed potatoes cold, vegetable cold & entree lukewarm. She sent back & I ordered blueberry pancakes which were actually decent even though they had been cooked on the same grill with onions which were on the bottom of pancake. Needless to say another restaurant down the drain. Sad because they had the best food when in Pasco years ago. Oh, we were not charged for either of my meals But had a $4 cup of coffee. read more
