We went just arrived around 12:30am What is mildly busy. Seated rather quickly.. Inside provides table and booth seating . Our order was taken within a timely manner . The salad I ordered wasn't too fresh. Service could have been a little bit more attentive and friendly . End of evening when we went to pay the majority of the front stuff was visiting very loudly with what looked to be an ex employee that came in and were occupying the entire front counter, where you pay having private conversations, and being as loud as they were, wasn't too professional as many customers were still in the restaurant and waiting to be tended to. Absolutely horrible. I was served raw egg whites, only noticed when I took a bite. I tried calling in the waiter which was another horrible experience. The waiter did nothing to help and avoided our entire table for 1hr and 35 minutes (I counted). Before she finally sent her manager. I had only put $5 tip in my card because we had left cash on the table for her and she proceeded to starting laughing about the amount with her coworkers. I recently interviewed at Subway on Gage Blvd, but unfortunately, the manager was extremely rude. Despite confidently answering all her questions, she accused me of sounding scripted. To make matters worse, when I complimented her tattoos, she did not say thank you and walked away with a team member, saying 'No!' I felt utterly disrespected. My family decided to go there yesterday and the lady who was serving us took 15 minutes just to bring out our drinks (we were just getting water and coffee then). All I can say is that I'm pretty disappointed with last nights service. The moment we walked in the restaurant the workers there were so snarky and so rude. My friend and I went into Dennys at around 12:30-1a.m and the server we had gotten by the name of "Bill" was not only super rude but he just had this nasty attitude. He gave me a dirty menu that I'm pretty sure they're suppose to wipe down which they never did all we can overhear are the employees making rude remarks about past customers and how much they've eaten like okay that's none of their business..not only did the food take longer then expected to be ready but my chocolate shake was super runny and tasted like water, it was just crazy to me that he was treated my friend with friendly customer service but with me he would just ignore when I was trying to place my order, once my food came out I was even more disappointed my burger was undercooked the fries were also not all the way cooked the only thing I can say was good was the dipping sauce. Keep in mind we had just gotten our food and had only been sitting at the table for 10-15 and Bill just kept coming by asking if we needed anything else or if we were ready for our check like excuse you sir. We felt rushed to finish our meals pay and leave. In my opinion people like Mr. Bill shouldn't be working in the food service if he doesn't have patience for people. Convenient location right off the 395 so it's easy to get in and out if you're passing through. Friendly customer service, casual atmosphere and a few fun games for the kids make it family friendly. They've changed a few things. I can't say I like what they've changed either. Mostly just the prices and how they do some things with the prices and meals. But nowadays I think that's everywhere. It can be difficult to get seated as well. If you want a nice quiet space to sit and enjoy. I suggest the bar area in the back. The front for a nice cup of coffee in the morning. This location is very classic Denny's. Nothing remarkable. Some Denny's have tried to go with a theme of some kind to make them seem more interesting...but not here. It was, however, very clean. Food was pretty good overall except my eggs were too done. I have been ordering over hard a lot because it seems like a lot of places lately don't cook their eggs long enough to hurry them to the tables. Oh, these were done alright! Gail was our bartender tonight. She was great! It was a pleasant and refreshing surprise to have her wait on us and make our drinks! She is normally the assistant manager and so we see her out on the floor managing, but she has never served us before. She said her bartender was out sick, so being the badass that she is she filled in the gaps and covered the shift herself. She killed it! Tonight was prom for Kennewick High, so when we came in the dining room was full and they were slammed. We sat in the bar, and even though Gail had multiple tables she was currently serving plus customers at the bar rail she still came over and greeted me immediately and took my drink order. She even spoke to me and called me by name (she remembered!). She brought out drinks right away and she came back several times to see if we were ready to order (we took absolutely forever to decide). Food came out perfect, and she checked on us frequently. We didn't go a minute without anything we needed. She was on top of it. I'm truly impressed that a manager who doesn't bartend or wait tables on a regular basis literally nailed every step. It was hands down the best service we have EVER got here. And that's not even a question. Like BY FAR. So, thanks Gail! You're truly a diamond in the rough. Myself and my group were refused service because we "smelled like weed". We actually work at a cannabis store and it was 11:45 at night and we were going to the bar section and the place was DEAD. I spoke with the manager and explained we had just come from work and nobody had smoked anything but she was determined to not allow us to be served. Pretty ridiculous, we weren't loud, showed no signs of impairment and there were no guest complaints about us. Just a manager who apparently hates cannabis and anybody associated with it. Stopped here late at night during a road trip. My boyfriend and I were tired, starving, and still had a couple hour drive ahead of us. We knew we were risking a longer wait time by going into a sit down restaurant. Unfortunately, I think they were understaffed so the whole ordeal to get food in front of us took 45 mins. The staff were friendly, but there was a lot of confusion surrounding our simple orders. Also, the meats were VERY salty. I had some turkey sandwich that I was able to finish (the bread masked the salt) but my boyfriend couldn't eat the sausage he ordered. The rest of the meal was OK. We were too tired and didn't want to waste the time to tell our server we were less than satisfied with our food. We shoveled it down and hit the road. They get 2 stars because the place was clean and the staff were nice.Again, our experience could be due to an understaffed night. read more

Overall I would give Denny's 2 stars maybe 2.5, but this review is for this visit specifically. Wife says this was a 2 star visit. I say not a good trip. I ordered a skillet steak and chicken meal. She took our order and came back said she forgot it came with 3 sides. I picked those and she returned 5 min later to say she made a mistake and it did not cone with any sides. No Big Deal. A LONG wait and our food comes out. The skillet itself looked and tasted so so. I asked didn't this come with tortilla's? She responded o ya disappeared and returned with a tortilla container that held 3 things that looked like tortillas but were more like Frisbees! Not joking I smacked the tortilla on the table and it broke! My wife ordered a breakfast skillet and got the dinner equivalant which would have been ok but she wanted the eggs. She asked the waitress for the eggs and she brought them out in a reasonable time! But charged us extra for them! The entire time we were here our glasses were regularly empty. We were told the restaurant was out of all juices so we drank their chlorine water...ordered two cups of coffee (only received one) and my friend couldn't get a refill no matter how many times she asked so she was stuck sipping on cold coffee. Our food took well over 25 minutes to be delivered, I'm not sure what took so long because all of our food was cold, my plate was short a few sausages and no toast, and my 3 year old was delivered a joke of a Rudolph pancake...there was no jelly, no butter on or for our toast, service was rude and slow and she barely spoke English it seemed. I asked to speak to a manager and the waitress looked dumbfounded and said "I don't know." Didn't want to spend another minute in there so we left no tip and will never return. read more

The food isn't greasy and gross, and I've never had something that didn't taster better than normal.
