I came here yesterday for the first time and absolutely loved it. I would've given it five out of five stars had I not come back today and had a totally different experience. Yesterday, the service was impeccable. The girl who greeted us was so incredibly friendly and helped us understand the menu. I ordered a kids vanilla custard with waffle bits and Oreo bits. It was the perfect blend of flavors and the perfect size. Today, the service was equally good. However, I ordered a small waffle cone with vanilla custard and the waffle cone absolutely ruined my experience. I didn't even get the chance to take a picture of it, because it immediately started leaking from almost every seam. The cone was so thin that it had holes all around it. I'm used to waffle cones maybe leaking from the bottom occasionally but have never had one leak from all sides. The waffle cone was also very salty. I am not a fan of that sweet and savory combo (like salted caramels or chocolate chip cookies with sea salt, for example) so that completely threw me off. If you like that kind of thing, maybe you would love this cone. I wish the person who took my order would have told me that the cones were salty or that they would have disclosed that on the menu. I've never tasted a waffle cone that was salty. I used the walk-up counter yesterday and the drive-through today. While you can't actually go inside this place, the parts of it that I could see looked clean and bright. There is ample parking right outside and seating as well. read more

Kept it simple and shared a cookies N cream malt with my husband - was delicious! I do wish there was whip cream, as it feels like a classic staple for a milkshake or malt, but I didn't even think to ask! It was still delicious, drive through was super easy, staff was friendly and bonus, we asked for two pup cups and they gave us to mini cones with ice cream for our doggos. I go to Andy's 1-2 times a month. Today was terrible ordered a sundae with banana , strawberries and Hot Fudge. It was made in I think 12 oz cup half full of Ice Cream 4 slivers of strawberry and maybe 6 very thin banana slices . even the girl in window didn't know what to say . when I said what happen to the ice cream ? When you ordered butter pecan, we pretty much got vanilla with a few random pecans.. lots of staff Range around chatting, super friendly folks at the window and yet the quality of their food just isn't important. When I sent a note to the company letting them know what happened, (surely offering a photo or two if they wanted ) instead of appreciating the time I , or an apology for the incredibly substandard product.. what I got was their plan to make their staff better?. Best ice cream ever. My niece was visiting for a week and once we discovered this place, she was here 3 times in 3 days. She even said she'd move to Arizona to be closer to Andy's. I tried the biscotti concrete and it was amazing, but I couldn't finish even a small because it was so full of flavor and very rich. The last time we went, we opted for vanilla. Now I know you can get vanilla ice cream anywhere, but not like this! This is smooth and creamy and unlike anything else. You can't go wrong with it. Do yourself a favor and just go. We came here last night for ice cream!! I enjoy the set up they have going on. We parked, walked up, and got to stand infront of their menu. It was so easy to read because of how large it was (6 ft tall atleast) so any older customers wouldn't have a problem reading the items. The lighting reminds me of a football stadium, it's very bright and convenient and makes sitting outside fun. The building has ginormous windows so you can see inside and watch them make your custard real-time. I imagine it would be fun for little ones! Now, I used to work at Culver's and find the prices at Andy's to be insanely expensive. A SMALL was something like $6, with only ONE topping. Any additional toppings were $1.20. Culver's LARGE mixer is $6, offered 2 toppings, and additional would be 60¢. Also, my friends got concretes and the toppings were ONLY mixed in on the top half... I got a rootbeer freeze and it was yummy! Pretty much just a rootbeer float but blended. Overall, I don't see myself ever returning back here. No offense, but I just have that preference to Culver's. They also have BOGO concrete mixer coupons all the time and I've never heard of those with Andy's. read more

Love frozen Custard and I love Andy's frozen custard to be specific! I'm a huge fan of frozen custard and I was glad Andy's has expanded throughout the East valley. This is one of the three locations in the East valley and I'm happy this location is right near my house. Great thing about their custard is they make it fresh every hour. Fresh is always the best way to have custard! I've been here many times already but for me just the straight up vanilla custard is my go to. Always delicious straight up and doesn't require anything more than that. I've had a banana split, concrete's and sometimes I feel like it takes away from just the custard taste. Maybe it's just too sweet for me when you add fudge and toppings, but the custard is just too good to throw anything else on top it. I know alot of people order the jackhammer which is good but just too much. Also the amount of ice cream they give you even at a small size is a ton. Not a bad problem but if you try to eat it all at once, you might feel sick. All in all, great place to get delicious custard. Once you try it, it will be hard to go anywhere else read more

Andy's is a solid option if you're on this side of the Valley. I had been to an Andy's in Missouri on a work trip, so was excited to see them here in AZ when I moved from Ohio last year. After living here for over a year, I finally made my way to this location. It was a super hot Saturday, but they weren't busy at all. My boyfriend and I both ordered a sweet treat. I went with the Peanut Butter Cup which is their creamy vanilla custard with chopped up Reese's and peanut butter mixed in. What makes them 3 stars for me is that the peanut butter was only mixed in at the bottom. So the last 3 bites tasted great! But otherwise, it just tasted like vanilla with Reese's mixed in. Would have preferred they mixed it longer to ensure it's the same balance/consistency throughout. All told, I wasn't as big a fan of the AZ Andy's as I was in Missouri. However, I am sure this could easily bump up to a 4 star review on a future visit. read more

Customer service: 3 stars: came 11.22.2020 and was serviced by a young man around 7pm ish with pink polished nails. Yeah... He was neither friendly or impolite but he did his job. Price point: 4 stars: 1 banana split, 2 small concretes, 1 small sprite will set you back $15 and some change. Is it worth it? It depends on how much of an Andy's fan you are. Food: 2 stars: c'mon ANDYS! I have been to your establishment in Branson Missouri and Atlanta Georgia, the custard shouldn't be damn near soup by the time you walk to the car. When we were serviced, there was no outside with us or in drive thru. We got our items immediately as Mr. Pink nails summoned me to the window to get our treats. In the other places I've mentioned the custard was firm and it was rather hot days compared to the moderate temperature in arizona so its a product quality issue. Overall: it was decent, not my best or favorite Andy's visit. Being im an out of towner I will remember this location as "when we were served custard soup.." lol sorry ANDYS you guys could've been a 5 star review just off general principle because im a fan of the chain, but today our visit was the equivalent of visiting a dairy queen.
